Best patio in Victoria and great service every time! Order the east coast garlic fingers for sure! They are life changing with the donair sauce that they come with. Great drink specials ... especially on Saturday cause it’s cheap sangria! The red is amazing but the white is nice too. Everything we’ve had here has been awesome and the servers are so nice. Highly recommend!

My partner and I wanted to try out this restaurant as we had always walked passed and it seemed like a popular restaurant. I had purchased a groupon for this place and I called to make reservations a couple days before. I requested for us to sit on the patio the man I spoke to on the phone said they don't do reservations for the patio but he put a note beside my reservation stating we wanted a patio seat. So we go for dinner and show up on time and it looks fairly busy on the patio but I noticed 2 spots available, I tell the young lady I have reservations and that the man on the phone said if there were spots available on the deck we could sit there...well she told me that those spots were reserved and the people were coming soon..... even though I was told they don't reserve the patio seats.... so she seated us inside.. 1st it was SO hot inside and it felt crammed. 2nd we ordered drinks and a pizza , our drinks came and we finished our drinks and we noticed that our pizza was sitting there ready for us to eat but it wasn't brought to us for about 5 minutes and when the person brought us our pizza they didn't ask if we wanted a refill on our drinks and she didn't even come back to ask us how our food was..... once all our food was done she came and picked up the empty plates and then proceeded to ask how the food was and walked away. We waited another 10-12 minutes and at this point no one came back to ask if I wanted my receipt so I called another worker over and asked for my bill... Not the best experience we have had , food was good but service was not.

Friendly staff with delicious appetizer and pizza! I got the cauliflower wings with side of Buffalo sauce plus the lido signature pizza. Absolutely amazed by the pizza, perfect amount of cheese, so flavorful. I also got ranch on the side to go with the pizza and appetizer! Will definitely come back again!

Made a reso for tonight at 430pm yesterday. Came down here to find its closed. No one notified me that they decided to close because of the rain. I don't think it's proper to take reservations and then just close?Literally paid for parking and walked up to find a empty restaurant. So unprofessional. Why would you not notify me if I had a reservation?

Great staff! Great Sangria! A sunny Saturday two weeks ago we were out looking for restaurants with a patio that was open to support. It was suggested to try Lido and was not disappointed. The manager on duty was amazing, attentive, friendly and kept everyone well served. The white sangria and the arugula/prosciutto salad are on the top of my list at the moment. Great attention to detail while following all the steps in keeping socially distant. Well done to the team of Lido. I will return!

Incredibly slow service, it took 20 minutes to get my coffee. AND there was a hair on my food, they took it back and brought me a new one. Gave me the “friends and family discount”. I’m shocked they didn’t just take it off my bill.

I recently hosted myself a Milestone Birthday Party at Lido Bistro. The location was perfect, an Inner Harbour experience on a beautiful summer night. I reserved the entire inside space which did not cost any reservation fee. Steve and his culinary team took the time to create a menu that offered awesome bang for my buck and had no issues catering to guests that had some special requirements, all the food looked and tasted delicious! The bar staff were so friendly and helpful and offered a great gift by designing a tasty signature drink to celebrate my occasion, what an awesome, thoughtful touch! I created a playlist for the party, enjoying it was as easy as signing into my Spotify account on the Lido tablet. A couple of simple decorations was all I went with, the awesome view of the harbour took care of the rest! The event was exactly what I had hoped for and planning it was stress free and easy, thanks to Steve and his team! A good time had by all! No matter if your looking for a spot to host an event or just a great place with great food, drink and people to spend a bit of your time, let the Lido team take care of it and just, simply, ENJOY!!

Wonderful place to be. Gorgeous view of the ocean. Very tasty food. I WOULD have given this place a 5 star. The only thing wrong is that their plates are DIRTY more times then not when I go. I have to ask for clean plates quite often. I don't know if they hand wash or have a dishwasher but either way, I hope they can fix the problem soon. It is very important that the things people eat off are clean.

We liked it. The pizza's tasted pretty good and they definitely don't cheap out on the toppings and cheese. I feel the pizzas could have maybe been cooked just a little bit longer, which would have been perfect. Some of the cheese was only partially melted. Plus I really think a pizza with lots of cheese deserves a great golden brown crust on top to really bring the flavour out. These were a minute or two shy of that, but they still tasted good. Also the chairs inside at the high tables sank down a bit too much and tend to cut the blood circulation off after a while. It might be time to invest in some chairs with more on a convex rather than concave seat for the butt. Service was really good though! As was the view. I'd go back to try it again. A few small improvements and this place would be great!

Had a great time here on a pickle pub crawl (harbour ferry hop on hop off). You get a free app for every four members on the tour, the garlic cheese fingers were one of the highlights of the day. Lots of room on the patio to hang out and have a beer with friends.

Amazing venue for private functions, highly recommend!! I just had my birthday party at Lido and it was the best experience. Steve, the owner, was so accommodating and easy to communicate with, which made the planning process exceptionally simple and stress-free. The staff were so welcoming and took such good care of us all night. It's not the biggest space but there were about 30 of us and there was plenty of room to roam around and mingle. The food was delicious too! If you're looking for a cool spot to host a party Lido will not disappoint.

The service is very friendly and attentive. The host even brought a bowl of water for my friend's dog! They were a bit slow taking the first order for drinks, but after that everything was perfect. I visited your restaurant approx 6 years ago when I was living in Victoria. A former co worker from Halifax was visiting her son and took us out there and we had a wonderful time. This place is a gem on the waterfront. The food is excellent. The owner worked with me to plan a wonderful surprise party (private) for my partner. The staff were amazing, going above and beyond. Last night we met friends there to redeem a Groupon for 2 pizzas. The sangria was perfect, the beers good, and the pizza options are well done. Nice waterfront patio, too.

Awsome location! Easily the best inner harbour patio. Great selection of delicious fresh made cocktails. The donair was easily the best I have ever had very fresh and interesting take on Caesar dressing. They close for the winter but offer the room as a party venue with NO booking fee. Lido Waterfront Bar & Bistro is fantastic. We held our daughters engagement party at Lido on Saturday night and it was handled beautifully. Wonderful view, incredible staff, great food! We had booked a private party which took over the entire indoors and much of the patio, everyone had a great time. Sophie was the hostess that oversaw everything beautifully and is a lovely person. I would highly recommend holding private parties or just going there for their food. They even had signs throughout the restaurant congratulating the happy couple. It was a memorable night! Thank you Sophie and all of the team, you were amazing!

We planned a 40th surprise birthday at Lido all by email exchange over a couple of months. Working with Steve was so easy and he was so accommodating with a customer-first approach. At the party the guests had a great time and said the service that Scott and his staff provided was exceptional. They put out a personalized sign too! The birthday boy was treated very well and we used their TV screen to run a slideshow and play a video with ease. The party was a success and the quality of service made it very memorable. Thanks to the staff at Lido for having us!

Make sure to remove this restaurant from the “BringFido” website. This restaurant is not as pet friendly !! We had a short trip to Victoria and went to this place since the “Brother ngFido” website says it’s pet friendly and the Local bar n restaurant suggested this place to us as a “pet friendly “ place. The owner/G.N of this restaurant,Steve, THREATENED us that we gotta leave the restaurant if the dog barks one man re time !! And this was while NO other guests in the restaurant complained about it!!! Bad experience!

I had a rather fabulous birthday party for my husband at Lido Bistro, and every single guest commented on the beautiful location (fabulous sunset outside on the patio) great food, attentive & delightful staff and more. It was a perfect evening, highly recommend for parties or just for an evening out.

Worst experience. We phoned ahead, mentioned that we brought dogs. They told us patio is busy and it would be a 10 - 30 minutes wait. We got there in 10 minutes and there were a few empty tables on the patio. Another person with his dog were waiting as well. After about 25 minutes a waitress told us they are putting their service on hold because the kitchen is busy with catering. Said they are not sure if they can serve us and we should probably leave. Didn't they know ahead of time about their catering order? Why did they tell us to go? There were empty tables, why did they make people wait and then told us they are not serving? I read online this is a good place and dog friendly, that's why we came. I guess not!!! So disappointed and would not recommend.

It was a bit hot inside in late June (unfortunately no AC) - we couldn't get a spot on the patio. However, the food and drinks were great. The pizza was absolutely incredible - for that reason we will be back!

We hosted a fundraiser at Lido in which they provided a buffet style dinner and full bar and our experience was amazing! Great food, great location, and friendly and hard-working staff. Also, they were beyond welcoming and helpful while hammering out all the details of the event. Two thumbs up from my team and all our guests!

Very expensive!!! I ordered one juice, one beer and appetizer last night and he charged me $86.00. Way over priced. And the food wasn't even that great. Will not come back to Lido Waterfront Bistro restaurant again. Very disappointed.

Casual with fun, friendly service.. Great pizza and small plates. The tacos are outstanding. The patio is a favourite spot to have a pint with great views of the inner harbour. Nice that is protected by high glass walls. Excellent for small (up to 50) private events too. We attended a birthday party at the Lido - the food was delish, service was usual top drawer and the environment perfect.

An out of the way place that is hidden from most with a great waterfront location and large outdoor deck to enjoy a draft and pizza slice. Have a honest Root beer that's locally made if you don't drink.

I have no idea how this place has not been shut down by the health inspector. If you do decide to try this establishment DO NOT sit anywhere near the Kitchen and you can be blissfully unaware of how disgusting this place actually is, and hopefully you won't get sick. So many health code violations, from the handling of raw meats and fishes with no washing and a ton of cross contamination. The overall gross appearance of the cooks with their hands in their hair, all over their faces and mouths, and still not once did I see a single person wash their hands. The servers and bartender unfortunately weren't any better. By the time our food actually arrived the fish smelled so rancid we didn't even bother touching it and just walked out. Tourist traps like this might work for travellers, but us locals need to keep each other informed to stay away from gross, disgusting, unsafe places like this.

Pizza was great. Nice location. Not crowded at all but will be when the weather warms up. Table was sticky and chairs were dirty which was kinda gross. A little more attention to bussing between customers.

We went on a weekend trip and got a groupon for an artisan pizza. Went there and got seated immediately. Ordered a carnivore pizza and a berry lemonade. Both were amazing and we walked back to our hotel feeling really full and much satisfied. The service was great too!

We ended up with a Groupon for Lido's and their food did not disappoint. The pizza was amazing. So delicious and very cool combinations. The service was a bit slow, and they burnt one of our pizzas and had to remake it, so we were finished the first pizza before the second one arrived. Aside from that, it was a good experience. Great views of the harbour. Lots of outdoor seating.

Lido Bistro was where we had our staff Christmas party and a fantastic time was had by all. People are still talking about what a great venue it was for a private function. Casual and laid back, yet tastefully decorated with a nice ambiance. The whole group at Lido treated us really great and we will return for sure!

Good flatbread, sunny patio, but my god the service kills it for me. Twice we've gone there and been ignored by staff as we wait to be seated. A simple acknowledgement would have been nice. The second time, they finally deigned to notice us long enough to tell us that the kitchen was too busy to make more food. This was with several tables empty. This place seems horribly mismanaged, so I'll steer clear in the future. Lots of good patios in Victoria.

What a rip off. Surly service. Overpriced water down drinks. Asked for a vodka tonic. Definitely got gin and tonic. Waitress tried to convince us it was vodka ????????????????????. Sooo many other patios this one is not worth your time or money.

Disappointing experience. I'm sure the food is fine but my experience was with the service of Lido. I asked to buy 2 dollars to take the seabus over to the delta and was denied. My dog was over heating and the bridge was closed for construction. The manager let me know they would run out of change if they gave me 2 dollars. I offered to buy anything they had to get the $2 and was turned away. Just poor business practice that I'm sure permeates through Lido. Luckily another establishment wasn't so short sighted.

Enjoyed a Greek Goddess Pizza, Chicken Wings, and Halibut Taco tonight at Lido's Waterfront Bistro. If I lived in the area I would definitely go back. The staff was super friendly. The outside seating is so pleasant on a warm summer night. Our spiced right hot wings came out extremely quick. If you want Ranch dipping sauce it will cost you 50 cents more. The chicken wings were crisp on the outside and flavorful inside. The pizza had a fresh marinara sauce with mild feta, olives, and artichokes. I enjoyed the pizza ~ and it is large enough to feed 3 women. The halibut fish taco has a nice sweet and spicy touch. My husband said it was the best fish taco he had eaten! I had a gin cocktail with cucumber, mint and lime. I would not order again just because the cucumber dominated the flavors too much. Hubby was happy with a regular margarita. All in all we walked away very happy.

I used to love Lido. But today I sat by the kitchen, and the place was filthy! I witnessed several foodsafe violations. The chefs were dirty and unkept. They had food wiped all over their clothes. I saw them handling raw meat, not washing their hands and then touching other things. I saw the wait staff picking things off the plates with their fingers nails and serving those plates to people. It was discusting!!!!!
