Seriously, every time someone had a cute moment, Lara was there, snapping it so we could keep it forever. She captured the spirit of our wedding and looking through all the photos brings up all those feelings of joy all over again.

Andrew and I are so happy with our photo’s from Lara! First our engagement session was great. Lara even accommodated 2 different locations in Victoria with a quick outfit change in between. She worked very well with us and our beloved pooch – and I stress worked “with” us. She was great with suggestions regarding lighting and ideas, but was also more than happy to go with the flow if we wanted to try something different. She is professional & very nice (not something you always find!) and she is such a hard worker. Lara’s version of a full day for your wedding is just that – a full day! Not like the other quotes I received where their version of full day is 8 hours – which for our wedding would have barely gotten us through our post lunch speeches, forget dinner or the first dance, the father daughter dance and the surprise fireworks show my husband put on for me and our guests. Lara arrived for most of our “getting ready” shots at 9:30am, while her assistant took excellent pics of the boys getting ready, and they didn’t end up leaving until I think around 11:30pm. She faded into the background and still managed to get all the best shots. You could put any 5 of her pictures mixed in with the best 100 of those from our guests (some of whom have a great eye, and very high end equipment) and you could pick hers out no problem! Originally we weren’t going to hire a photographer, but we’re so happy we did and that we found Lara – absolutely worth the money spent! Thank you Lara! I recently took Lara's Beginner's Workshop to learn how to use that Nikon sitting in my closet! The course was great! I learned so much... The class was small enough that it was easy to get some one on one time with Lara. It gave me the confidence to strike out and practice using my camera on manual mode. You leave the course with a "cheat sheet" on the things you learned (small enough to fit in your wallet), which is great to reference back to. I so enjoyed the course and look forward to improving my skills. I highly recommend this course, not only for beginners, but also people looking to improve or refresh their skills. Great value and lots of fun. :)

I can't even begin to tell you how glad I am that Lara did the photography for our wedding. The pictures capture us perfectly - not just how we looked, but the love we have for each other, and who we are as people. How proud and happy our families and friends were to be a part of everything. If someone wanted to know who I was, I could pick any one of the wedding pictures that Lara took and that would be explanation enough. She understood who we were and what was important to us, and it showed in the pictures she took. Also, my mother died shortly after our wedding, and I will always be grateful that I have such beautiful pictures of her to remember her by.

My husband and I can't say enough great things about Lara! We met her at a friend's wedding and saw her work from that day and it sealed the deal that we would hire her. Our afternoon stroll for engagement pictures were easy because of Lara's calm nature and approach to capturing our shots. She provided instruction from time to time but mostly allowed us to be us! We were blown away by our wedding album - her stunning pictures captured all angles and all the photos tell the story of our wedding day. While my husband and I couldn't see everything from our day, we don't feel we missed out because Lara's eye/camera didn't miss a thing. Lara is an extremely skilled photographer. Working as a makeup artist in Victoria I have had the opportunity to work with many wonderful wedding photographers. I have to say I have never been as impressed with anyone as I was with Lara.
