Had a awesome time. So nice being on the water and the staff was super friendly. Only complaint was our boat had a broken rotor so we couldn't travel around very fast and with wind we didn't get very far, would have to do circles to try and get to where we wanted too. We also asked for a bath bomb but never got one but wasn't charged so wasn't a big deal. Still a super fun experience and will highly recommend and be doing again.

This was a wonderful experience! The boat moves really, really slowly and after a few minutes, l felt truly relaxed and calm. It is almost like drifting... The industrial area of the Upper Harbour of Victoria is very interesting and very different from the flowers and tourist sights of the Inner Harbour. I loved it! Colin was great, and he showed us the ropes and put us at ease right away. Highly recommend!

HIGHLY recommend this! We did a double date and had our hot tub experience in the perfect weather conditions! (In the fall time, when its chilly out) It was a beautiful sunny day and even swam in the harbour a few times. The tub itself was easy to steer, perfect temperature. (On the way back it became more warm at the end) but overall it was so much fun and the lady who worked there was super friendly. We were out for 1.5 hours after the tutorial, and was provided a dry bag to keep our phones safe. They even had a bluetooth speaker so we could listen to music during our time in the tub. I highly recommend this especially at this time during the pandemic (socially distanced, worker wore masks etc)

Great experience for a small group or a couple. Easy and fun to drive. Doing boat donuts was excellent and the toasty tub on the water was incredibly satisfying. We got to see a blue huron and a sea lion kept popping up intermittently nearby. Overall would recommend to anyone visiting.

Bluetooth speaker provided was dead so we had to turn around after 15 min which was a bummer, when we got back buddy realized our fire was out, he was going to fix it but proceeded to DUMP fluid (butane? Idk) into the stove and the fumes went into our face pretty bad after that. Smokey fire, didn't keep the tub hot. I would like to go again because it was fun, but not on a windy day so hopefully the fire will stay going... was not expecting him to just reignite it with fluid and call it a day, made us uncomfortable and were smoked out for most of the end of our ride. Ended with a big headache :( At first the wood smoke wasn't too bad, but dousing the wood with fluid kind of took us out of the experience. That being said, tub was SUPER hot when we got in which was nice, and dispite the kinks in our first experience, we will probably give it another go. The guy was very helpful with docking and was on point in directing us, and we understand he did his best considering everything else.

The hot tub boat was very fun! It was a bit tricky to get started and leave the dock area but you pick it up quickly and the ride is really nice. The staff was very friendly, helpful and patient. The boat is super cool. Definitely want to go again. Only thing that could be improved is that I had no reply when I initially contacted them using the online form and no answer when I tried calling them.

Hubby stumbled across this when looking for something to do during our recent stay in Victoria. We were a bit hesitant when we saw the price ($183 for two people, two hours) but after reading reviews we thought we would like to give it a try - plus it was a nice little date as we were celebrating our honeymoon! You first watch a quick video about how to operate the boat and different safety measures. There are little change rooms you can use as well. They also provide you with bottles of water and a portable speaker to connect your phone and play some music. They have some other options for a fee but we decided not to go with any of them (although the charcuterie boards look really yummy)! Staff member that helped us was really friendly. It took us a bit of time to get comfortable navigating the boat but it really wasn’t that difficult at all! We had so much fun in the water, jamming to our music. Loved that it was a private adventure. I’d definitely recommend it!

This was an amazingly fun Activity to do on a cold wet night in Victoria. The process is very streamlined with lots of emphasis focused on Covid Safe Practises and safe handling procedures of the Hot tub Boat! The Water is fresh for every group and was super warm and they provide a bluetooth speaker so we just spent a couple hours grooving on the gorge! We had a great time and will definitely be back!

This was such an awesome experience and exceeded our expectations. The check in was quick and easy and very Covid safe! The staff was super friendly and chill and set us up for a successful voyage. The boat itself was very clean and was spacious enough to fit 5 people very comfortably. The hot tug boat was a phenomenal experience! One of the amazing things I didn't notice before going is that as they drain and refill for each group the tub is filled with literally just hot water, no chemicals or additives. We loved exploring the upper harbour, even got to watch the bridge go up on our way back in.

It was a cold sort of rainy day but the hot tub was hot and relaxing! I didn’t realize that you get to drive yourself around. Took a few minutes to sort out the navigation but then smooth sailing! We did the epsom Salt version and that was good!

We went when it was cooler and raining, so they added a roof to the boat! I’d recommend going in this type of weather because you’re so warm and cozy. Highly recommended:)

Such a great experience! We went during the evening, there were no stars out but it was still very romantic watching the city lights and playing our own music on their waterproof Bluetooth speaker. The tub was super easy to drive, the water was just as hot as in a regular hot tub but with a huge bonus of not smelling like chlorine at the end of it! In fact, the little smokestack gives off a really nice campfire vibe and smell. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, the whole experience was so easy, online booking especially. I will definitely come back again, had a great time.

This is such a great experience. We loved the fresh hot water without any chemicals and cruising through the gorge. This was a great relaxing social event to have good conversation and soak in a little R&R. One thing I would recommend working on is figuring out a way to keep the fire going while having the fire doors closed. We got a fair bit of smoke when going against the wind. Then the fire went out when we closed the doors. Turns out these babies cruise pretty good in reverse. We managed to get the fire going again and avoid the smoke when the boat was turned around. All and all a great time and will definitely be back.

What a magical and fun experience! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Roaming around the harbour during sunset provided some gorgeous views. The hot tub does lose some heat during the trip but it was still warm by the time we were done (and felt warm after jumping into the ocean). Overall just a really great time and something we will all definitely do again!

The hot tub was clean and the water was warmed and sparkling, ready for us when we arrived. The orientation was easy to understand. There's a secure place to lock up your belongings, a place to change and there's access to a bathroom at the Canoe Brew Pub. The temp of the hot tub was perfect. It was easy to maneuver. We brought a few snacks and received complimentary bottled water for our voyage. It was fun and relaxing, and a definite do again! We loved it!

Okay, so if you are thinking about doing this... just do it!!! It is a once in a life time experience and a lovely float around the ocean in downtown vic city. My hunny and I went for our anniversary and had an absolute blast! They provide dry bags for your phones and other gear as well as a Bluetooth speaker to play your favourite tunes and have awesome options for add ons for your float (such as snacks or bath bombs etc) . It’s an original idea and people love to see you while they are out exploring the coastline (on lookers wave and take pictures!) We went on a beautiful December day and were perfectly warm and left feeling extremely relaxed and elated from our float. A great way to celebrate any part of life!!! We will be back!!!

A group of my friends and I rented a 'Hot Tug' over the weekend and it was AMAZING! Truly as good as it sounds. The Hot Tub Boat team was accommodating and even let us push off a little early after watching the safety video and learning about how to drive and where to go. We got lots of attention from other boaters and people on their docks who seemed genuinely happy to see such a site. It was truly a memorable experience!

Super fun experience. Went on the 6pm slot late in October on a super calm + clear evening. The hot tub was so hot that we were able to jump in the ocean a few times and comfortably warm up quickly afterward. Made friends with a harbour seal. I discovered the Hot Tub Boat through a friends social media and knew I had to experience it myself. What better time to treat yourself than on your birthday? Myself and three good gal pals had an amazing adventure Hot Tub Boating along the harbour. We started our journey with blue skies, experienced the sunset while on the water and left the harbour to the sight of some city lights! The Boat moves comedically slow, but is the perfect speed to enjoy the scenery and shoot some pictures. You definitely draw attention while on the boat; being out on the harbour in the Hot Tub Boat basically made us a group of brand ambassadors. After the sun had set, the wind chill did get quite intense but the warm water was helpful to combat the cold.

Great way to spend a rainy evening in the winter months. My mother in law and I went together at a 7:00pm reservation and had a great time. There was no issues with navigating the boat in the harbour, and operating the boat was a breeze. Even for two women who do not have a lot of experience with operating/driving a boat. If you want a fun and unique experience this is a great choice. We enjoyed a lazy cruise up the gorge on a sunny day. A great mix of legs dangling in cold gorge water with hot tub water to warm up. A must do! We had so much fun on our evening tug boat for two! Beautilful Christmas light display around the bay, and a "Covid friendly" outdoor experience that was a welcomed relief. We took a few dips in the ocean in December, and had a friendly seal come surprise us. Excellent experience!

Although this was a lot of fun there were a few things that would stop me from doing it again. We ordered a charcuterie platter for us all that wasn’t ready when we were supposed to head out on our float. We waited around 15-20 minutes for it that cut into our time. Since the moment it was filled, the temperature continually dropped. We were all pretty cold which caused us to come in early. By the time we got back, the temperature gage hanging on the side was reading 93. We had also asked for the roof to be included on the tub but that wasn’t on when we got there. Again, loved the experience but with temperature getting so low, it didn’t make it very comfortable.

Nothing quite like it - brings an otherwise intimate experience into the outdoors, perfect for a winter quick getaway experience - 2 hrs is a perfect amount of time to adventure without turning into a raisin - lol. one of the only Covid options that i can think of - i was grateful for be able to get out and stay in our bubble :)

It was Saturday, needed a bath, so we shared our tub with very good friends of ours both celebrating our 50th anniversaries. The evening was calm, warm and beautiful setting sun. You can not go fast so you have to enjoy the journey. It was way better than I had anticipated. It is a blast.

Hot Tub Boat Victoria is by far the best activity in the city! It runs all year long and is a blast to do in any weather. They have really taken Covid-19 precautions seriously. And the staff is so friendly and fun! You will have the best time ever! Highly recommended!

Although the Hot Tub Boats seat 6, we decided on FOUR to adhere to social distancing. Three of us are late 70s, one early 50s. It worked out perfectly and we were thrilled! At no time did we feel apprehensive or unsure of what might happen. We were given a thorough explanation of what to do and how to do it, which was followed by the helpful video. Weather conditions were perfect. This is a professional and well-run business. We admire the young owner. We've vowed to take the Hot Tub at least once a year from now on. Can highly recommend the delightful experience. We were all left feeling SOOOO relaxed!

This is the best thing since sliced bread. I took my wife on this beautiful cruise for our anniversary... we made the yacht owners look like a bunch of indulgent chumps, and had a wonderful afternoon. The water is piping hot and you get a nice wood fire smell from the on board stove. Very unique experience, highly recommended.

What an incredibly fun and memorable experience! The water was hot throughout, so awesome that there's a real fireplace heating it up. The people were super nice and helpful, even gave us waterproof speakers to take! We especially enjoyed the flexibility to take our own snacks, drinks and water toys with us. Recommended to all our friends, they are looking forward to the Vancouver location (hopefully!).
