It's a lovely hotel with a good location. Breakfast and dinner at the Lure restaurant are quite good, and the bar is even good for cocktails and gets busy on weekends. I would have given 5 stars except the toilet paper is super cheap, the doors slam loudly, and while the gym is good, it's generally full of wet children running from the pool though it.

Great amenities and location. Ocean view room is more loke a peekaboo view. If you book through a "3rd party" app, you wont get a good room. Parking is extra but you can find free street parking spots aroumd the area.

Recommended for anyone staying in Victoria wanting a view and comfort for a great price

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and booked a water view room. Hotel had a beautiful view of the harbour and had 2 chairs in front of the windows which were perfect to watching the activity outside. It is a bit of an older hotel and does show its age in some aspects, the bathroom was a little small, but functional. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful and the restaurant was convenient for breakfast. We returned to our room in the mid afternoon and it hadn't been cleaned yet, since we were only there for 2 nights we decided to forgo the cleaning so can't comment on that. The Delta is good value for the price. We did find is that is about a 15-20 minute walk to the restaurants and downtown Victoria which was a bit of a drawback, however we had beautiful weather so it was nice for walking around.

Generally poor value and poor experience. With 125 nights stayed at 20 different properties during this 'new normal' I have a pretty good idea of what is reasonable. This isn't it. This was the only property in all those stays where I felt I was getting screwed. The room was straight up dirty (and dated, and worn, and poorly designed). Covid policies that might matter were actively being ignored whilst 'Covid' was also used as an excuse for all the services they were not delivering - or, more commonly, just doing a terrible job of. They chose to fill the hotel while clearly not having the staff in place to support this. Priced as a 'resort' yet lacking anything that would suggest resort amenities. Similar properties in similar economic circumstances are able to deliver better value, quality service and a clean environment. Why not here? When issues were raised it took 3.5 weeks to get a response (3 weeks after I left). That response rang exceptionally hollow and a simple scan of other recent reviews (and public responses from their GM) seems to indicate I was not alone in my experiences, nor in the dismissive view that was taken of the issues raised. They know they are failing, but they already have your money - and they seem to be ok with this. While I am planning to be back in Victoria for 2 to 3 weeks per year for the forseeable future I will be avoiding the Delta and exploring the many other nice properties available in the area. I suggest anyone reading this do the same.

Great location, just off the hustle of downtown but close enough with awesome view of the waterfront. Rooms are clean, beds awesome service excellent. Comes at a great price too!

This hotel is a short walk away from the downtown Victoria strip. The grounds are very pretty and some rooms offer gorgeous views. The room was clean and the hotel staff was accommodating. Parking is underground. I recommend finding alternative eating arrangements. Our family found the hotel restaurant to be a disappointment. The Lure staff ignored us when we arrived, hoping to get breakfast. They also close up the bar somewhat early in the night.

The hotel is walking distance to most attractions. Beautiful view of the harbour from our room. A birthday treat was provided by the hotel and was greatly appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Nice clean rooms (bathrooms need a fan and the carpet was ripping up in some parts in the room. But overall, really nice and super clean rooms, really friendly staff and loved that the check out time was noon not 11 like so many other hotels.

We loved this hotel for its great location and well appointed rooms. Located just across the bridge, we felt like we were in the middle of town and could walk to everything we wanted to see in Victoria. We enjoyed a wander along the sea wall in front of the hotel and the view from the main lobby. The staff were excellent and always very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and well kept. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, which we enjoyed. The sixth floor patio was an absolute bonus! Definitely recommend as a centrally located hotel in Victoria!

A wonderful stay for my husband and I. A five minute walk to downtown Victoria, with friendly and accommodating staff, we found it very clean and comfortable. The menu at the Lure Restaurant was outstanding, a huge shout out to the chef!! The view is spectacular. We will definitely stay here again.

Disappointed in our room, it a little tired, frayed carpet, white upholstered chairs are stained, shower stall tile could use some good cleaning product. Bed is comfy, view is amazing

This location is perfect to get the best of downtown Victoria. A short walk across a cool bridge to the heart of the inner harbour. Lots of shops and restaurants are a 10 min away.

We had our wedding at the Delta Ocean Pointe Resort, and also stayed at the hotel for a few nights for the wedding. The venue was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we dreamed. Right downtown Victoria, on the water, in a beautiful hotel--the aesthetic was perfect. The ceremony was held on the Harbour Patio facing the Inner Harbour, and the reception was held inside in the large Arbutus Ballroom.The hotel was nice to deal with in planning all the details of the wedding, especially during a pandemic, and was completely open to working with us to ensure our wedding was 100% vegan. We also loved that the curfew for events was 1 a.m. as opposed to the midnight curfew other venues had. When the wedding day finally came, everything was wonderful and the food (all vegan!) was delicious. Our hotel room (which was complimentary on our wedding night) had a gorgeous water view and large balcony (which extra space came in handy for ordered-in brunch with our wedding party the next morning). We are so happy that we had our wedding at the Delta Ocean Pointe Resort and definitely recommend it to anyone else looking for a great wedding venue.

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a hotel. They compare thousands of booking web sites and usually will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the most well known in this area. I've been coming here for years. If you choose this place you for sure will love it I'm sure! The room is good, smaller than anticipated. We wished the window was larger to enjoy the view. The bed is comfortable. The washroom is good. I wish hotels provides either better lighting in the bathroom or provide those enlargement mirror. So difficult to put makeup on when you can't see good.

We stayed at the resort and booked a Harbour/City view suite in August 2021. The view was great, however the room that cost us close to $1,000 for two nights, was such a disappointment. Where can I start:? - All the furnishing and finishes were dated including the hallways -the carpet and furniture were noticeably worn -the washroom was dated with a single sink and very poor lighting ( we had to bring a lamp in from the bedroom. -the floor tiles were worn and the tiles inside the shower had grout missing. -the floor in the shower had sunk slightly and formed a pool so that you had to walk through your dirty water to get out of it. -the bathroom door had curled up at the bottom after years of moisture. -the toilet was a low-boy and not a soft close so it was difficult for us to get up from it and we could hear the toilet seats slamming in other rooms. -there was no usb connection to charge your ipad or cell unless you remembered to bring a power transformer to plug in to a power outlet. -the air conditioning was very noisy and we had to turn it off so we could get some sleep - we noticed that the cleaning had missed dusting some areas -etc... 15 years ago this must have been a nice place

Amazing location, definitely. Some of the carpets require some attention, as some bulging have been observed in high traffic area prone to potential tripping. Sadly, I had a negative experience at the pool, as a group of 6 male individuals took full control of the swimming area by passing a football in the pool, missing and hitting windows, diving in the water. I was there with my youngest daughter and we left ahead of time as area was too risky. With one of the hotel employees working on the hot tub right beside, I would have expected someone to act on behalf of the safety of other guests. In the 30 minutes I stayed at the pool, no action has been taken. For this, a 2 star only!

This place is awesome! Stayed for two nights, rooms were clean staff was very friendly. We stayed during Christmas and Mario did an amazing job bringing Christmas Tree to our room as requested by my wife. Thank you Mario for leaving such a beautiful note.

Exceptional hotel. Staff were very helpful with arranging last minute dinner reservations at LURE. I really enjoyed my stay and the location. Although I drove into Victoria it was very convenient to park my vehicle in the hotel's garage and walk to all my destinations. The location of the hotel also gives a great perspective of the inner harbour, Bateman Gallery and Legislative Assembly, especially at night.

We had a very nice brunch here on the weekend. I had the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and my friend had the Omelet with candied salmon and dill. Both meals were delicious! The hotel was decorated up nicely for Christmas as well including some Gingerbread house displays.

The staff is happy, genuine and incredibly conscientious. The team went over and above to take care of me and make me feel welcome. From the from desk staff going over and above, to the restaurant, to the cleaning staff. I have never stayed anywhere, where each and every person was so kind and welcoming.

Super disappointed, not at all worth the price. This hotel offers no higher level than a Best Western (not that BW is bad), but at twice the price. The biggest thing to watch out for with them is the word “resort” in their title. This is why we booked it for our first trip post COVID. At no point did we feel we that we were offered the additional services that a “resort” would offer. The room was also a bit dirty. Not dirty enough to warrant major complaints, but it was something that became more obnoxious as the level of customer service fell. (Spiderwebs on the ceiling, caked on dust in the air vents, and stained grout in the shower). The real problem that broke the camels back so to speak was the inability to be seated at the in house restaurant. First day we walked up to a 10% filled restaurant and were told there would be a 20-30 minute wait to be seated. The staff in the restaurant were all just standing around, but they said they were “busy”. We left instead of waiting. Later that evening I called in to make a reservation for next day, and was told “if you’re a guest of the hotel you should be able to just call in the morning - we won’t need to book it now”. Next morning when I called… “sorry, there’s a 1.5 - 2hr wait for food since the kitchen is busy.” This is where I expected that the hotel would step in, but their only option was “we will bring it to your room sooner if you want” so as it turns out there was NOT a wait in the kitchen, they just didn’t want to seat us for some reason. Regardless, we refused eating in our room because there was one chair to eat at the desk, and the other one of us would have had to eat hunched over the tiny night stand like an animal. So much for being at a “resort” The fellow who checked us in and the front desk staff were the only remarkable part of our stay, and are the reason this is a two star review and not 1* We won’t be returning and will be recommending friends and family stay at a comparably priced place with a more “resort” feel like Parkside.

The view from the 5th floor was fabulous. However, we won’t stay here again because the beds were so terrible. They were so soft and I woke up five days in a row with a sore back and no sleep. Positives-pool, hot tub (thank goodness!), and location was great.

We highly recommend the Delta for its location along the water and the short nice walk in to downtown Victoria. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. We love the breakfast in the restaurant. Hotel was wonderful as always! Nice rooms, friendly service, and a location that is away from the busy heart of the inner harbour, while staying within walking distance of everything!

Great location and view. Easy walk to downtown Victoria while avoiding all the traffic. Elevators were quick and alowed no more than 1-2 people at a time without long waits. Well managed for Covid safety. Rooms were clean and front staff very friendly. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

This is absolutely one of our favourite places to stay. We are local and do weekend trips at the delta frequently. The rooms are updated, clean, and nice.
