Beware of the business practices of this company. We had to cancel our wedding due to Covid, this was very disappointing. Many people were effected financially from the pandemic response in our province and we were one of the families. I contacted the company and requested my $1000.00 deposit back, as I did with all the various businesses we lined up for our June wedding. This was the only company that refused to return my deposit. They actually asked me to sell my deposit on Facebook? Through this experience we dealt with many people and businesses that went above and beyond customer service in this very troubling time ... This was definitely not one of them. Buyer Beware !!!

I strongly recommend anyone looking for a top quality wedding experience to go with Exquisite Affairs by Amal Kilani. Her company did the most marvelous job designing our wedding (June 1, 2019 @ DoubleTree Hilton), from the entrances, to the backdrops, to the fireworks, to the center pieces, to the elegant stage design (and more) all the way down to the finest little details. She truly created a grand royal looking masterpiece wedding worthy of Kings and Queens. I spent over 1 year with Amal working out all the details that resulted in this magnificent once in a lifetime phenomenally designed showcase wedding. Amal, and her son Abe, provided advice, feedback, and recommendations on all my wedding related questions and guided me through the process from beginning to end. They really do put extreme care and love into all aspects of all the weddings (and other events) they work on. They also referred me to the appropriate, and best, people for the rest of my wedding needs (audio/video, DJ, cake, entertainment, etc). My wife and I can truly say it was the most beautifully designed wedding we have ever seen. Best decor company in the Edmonton area! My husband and I literally had at least 10 appointments with other decoration companies, and most of them had the same problem: The decoration items were very limited. So we would find a few things we wanted with one company, and other things with another one. Only a couple of these companies had everything we wanted on our wedding style and colors; however, one of them not only was way out of our budget as it did not include the set up; the other one was Exquisite Affairs! The store is huge, and there are many many options of basically everything. Also, out of all of our appointments, Exquisite Affairs were the only ones to set up a guest table at the store so we could see what our choices would look like beforehand. Abe is amazing to deal with! Our cake company forgot to put a few roses on our wedding cake as we requested (our colors were white , gold and red), so our cake looked very different than what I asked for. Exquisit Affairs saved us on the day by making the decision of adding a floral on the bottom (see pictures), which looked amazing. I did not request that, but I would be extremely frustrated if that floral wasn't there as our cake was very plain. As I am brazilian and my husband is canadian, half of our wedding guests were from south america, and the other half from north america; and we received numerous complements from both sides of the family and friends about the decoration. Thank you so much for making our reception look just stunning! * We got married on July 15th, and I still haven't received my professional pictures, so some of these pics were taken by our guests, and some are print-screen of our video.

I had to look for another company to help me out since the lady I was originally talking to can't even show me samples of the linens and centerpiece she will be using for my wedding. Exquisite Affairs get the importance of having a visual of what brides expect to see for their wedding. Their showroom is awesome, showcasing the different decorations the company can offer to their clients. They are professional and very easy to deal with. They worked within my budget and were willing to do more than expected. I can see how Amal pours her heart into her design and would make sure that the outcome would make her customers happy and satisfied. My family and guests thought that the decorations turned out fabulous. Thank you for all your help.

i got married this past sept 14th and we were so amazed with the service we received. Every single one of our guests were so amazed with the decor and i cant even begin to describe how beautiful and magical the hall looked. We received so many compliments about our flowers, Chiavari chairs, backdrop, Centerpieces . If you're planning a wedding and you need any type of odd rental, backdrops, string lights or any other type of light, this place has absolutely everything. The prices are adjusted accordingly to what you'll be renting however I would definitely go back to see this place because it's like a Hollywood studio inside. I am extremely grateful for what you guys did for at the very last minute, words can not express our gratitude. We were let down by our vendor that was supposed to supply us with gold chiavari chairs, I have referred some friends to Exquisite Affairs in the past and they have done great work for them but I asked them for those chairs the very same day that I needed them. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to meet with them when they dropped them off and picked them up but they trusted me to take good care of their stuff without even knowing what I look like. They also delivered those chairs for us after they working hours at no extra charge because they understood my dilemma. The staff and owners were so professional. They worked around the clock to accommodate our requests. We had an unusual 2 part wedding where the day reception and the evening were identical set up . They had a 2 hour window in between to set things up and they still managed to pull it off with no issues. We had a venue booked and then we got hold exquisite affairs to do our decor, we made a deposit. After having several conversations with venue owners, we realized the venue we had was going to be a problem. They were really hard to deal with. So we found another venue we really liked. The only issue was they said they previously dealt with exquisite affairs before and they did not want to deal with them again . furthermore they told us if we wanted to book their venue we had to get a different decorator. We spoke with people at exquisite affairs to try get our deposit back or to get some decor for bridal shower. They refused and said we either have to walk away from our $1000 deposit or spend another $3000 which made absolutely no sense. Exquisite affair never made it clear that the deposit non- fundable. Long story if you want people that are willing to work with you, then exquisite affairs is probably not for you. Save your self the trouble, you already have enough on your plate.

First of all, your refund policy is written on the back of the contract where no one will see, which is deceiving. Furthermore, not once did you guys mention it was none refundable. However you guys were really eager to get us to make deposit. Second you guys have 4 months to rebook that date, it's not like as though we cancelled on you guys last minute. Finally you guys refused to compromise and let us use our $1000 for bridal shower decor unless we spend another $3000. I hope people read this and take it as a cautionary tale, take your hard earned money else where.

Horrible, 1 star because it is a minimum and also they do a decent job in decorating but everything else is so shady. We had a wedding in two years time and booked with Amal and negotiated prices when time came closer she had "lost our contract" and we had to renegotiate everything again and pay even more and when we told her it was more expensive she told us we have to find someone else than and we wouldn't get refund, but not even the worst part she told us we had to pay or we would lose our spot and started taking our credit card information over the phone and charging our card which we had agrrleed to and would come to sign receipts after until she started taking deposits without telling us and than saying if she didn't get it we would lose our spot after the wedding one of the items got damaged and we told them we would work with them and get it fixed as they wanted to charge us $3000 for a sofa and she had initially said ok and we could get quotes but than blocked my wife's number and than I called from another phone number and she picked up and said she was in a meeting and would call back but to no ones surprise no call back and blocked number and a $3000 charge on our card without any consent. We called visa and told them what happened and were told this was an illegal charge, had to wait 3 months but got our money back, AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This company is incensitive to the unfortunate event that COVID has created for all of us. We paid an 1000 dollars deposit which was way over 10% of the total projected costs and we unfortunately cancelled our wedding due to COVID. Other companies we dealt with provided a refund and were conscious about the situation. However, this company did not provide a refund option. I would be cautious with using their services and will advise my friends against it as well. It is a very unfortunate time to be cancelling weddings and dealing with issues like this only worsen the situation.

Our cake table was brand new and had crystals, greenery, and candles decorated throughout. Amal and Abe came to the brides house and decorated it days before, putting in so much work on top of having to set up the entire tent of 100 guests. After searching different decor companies I decided to go with Exquisite Affairs because of their amazing prices, amazing customer service, and the most beautiful selections of decoration. The decor of my wedding was AMAZING! Super elegant and classic, and at an amazing price. We had a Custom design backdrop made by Amal that we found on Pinterest and she delivered! The overlays, charger plates and napkins really impressed our guest. We also added uplighting around the room which ended up looking amazing. If your looking for the best decorator in the city Exquisite Affairs is the place to go. The selection of wedding decor we were looking for we couldn’t find at any other vendor, when we went to Exquisite Affairs showroom we were amazed at all the high end items they had that we were looking for. My wedding date was June 19. The 2nd phase of opening during the pandemic. We decided we wouldn’t postpone again. With gathering for wedding at 20, we decided we would just have our reception in our backyard. We were searching for unique rentals that would transform our backyard. We came across Exquisite Affairs and we were instantly in love with there rental pieces. Amal and Abe are super accommodating and they dealt with my craziness and indecisiveness in a very calm and professional manner. Any last minute changes wasn’t a problem at all. My ceremony space done by Amal was breathtakingly beautiful. I can’t thank her enough. My reception area was also very spectacular. There prices are unbelievable for the quality decoration they provide. If you’re looking for a unique, classy decoration with accommodating staff, Exquisite Affairs is definitely the place. My big day was May 5, 2018. I can't say enough about the professionalism and customer service I received from Abe and Amal. They were with with us 100% of the way making sure everything was perfect. Everything was done on time and not a single detail was missed. The prices compared to big wedding event planners are night and day for better quality and more selection. We used Exquisite Affairs for our wedding June 15, 2019. They did an absolutely excellent job right from the start. Abe & Amal are very helpful and experienced in their industry. They assisted us in making decisions based on their experience and knowledge. Their company offers a variety of options at reasonable pricing. When we got to out hall the night of the wedding, we were astonished by how beautiful a job they had done. We had a canopy drapped with flower blossoms going across the top with 3 hanging chandeliers. Our tables had candelabras and large freestyle flowers we also had white Chiavari chairs & indoor fireworks. Exquisite Affairs is a one stop shop for all your decor and Event rental needs.
