Taking a step back and looking at how my wedding went overall, it was pretty easy for us to see that hiring Simply Weddings to help plan and coordinate our big day was the best investment we possibly could have made for our wedding. I was worried about living in Alberta, and planning a wedding in Halifax, however things seemed to go flawlessly on our day. I had several calls with Claudia early on in my planning process, which certainly made me feel very comfortable with how things were going to go- she also suggested some fabulous vendors which turned out to be great choices! Right before we flew home, I spoke with Kayla at length over the phone discussing all the fine details. When I met Kayla for the first time at our rehearsal, it felt like I was meeting up with an old friend, which put me at ease. She was so confident with everything, and provided us with a very detailed schedule for our day of. Our day went off without a single hitch, Kayla coordinated perfectly with every vendor and kept in touch with my MOH on our wedding day.. And I just can't thank her enough for everything she did for us. I can't imagine how the day would of went without her there, and I can't recommend her highly enough. As previously mentioned, this was by far the best investment I made for our wedding day :) thank you Claudia and Kayla !!!

Claudia organized our wedding last summer and this review is long overdue! There was so much to say..... first off, this was headed into becoming a very stressful time for Jan and me. And it wasn't supposed to be. But there's sooo many things to consider. The first time we met with Claudia I remember afterwards seeing the sense of relief in Jan that things were going to turn out well. We had professional help to deal with all the various issues, and could concentrate on enjoying the day and all the days leading up to it. Claudia provided advice on what should be considered as part of the overall plan, who we could engage for services ranging from photography to furniture to flowers to bakery to almost anything we needed, dealt with all the various companies on our behalf, met with us on a regular basis to make sure things didn't fall thru the cracks, and totally committed herself to being with us and helping decorate the day before and day of the wedding and party. And we still felt like we were in control of what was being planned. One of the unexpected bonuses was the advice she provided on where we could save money and where our costs were coming in higher than they should be. Claudia handled some of the negotiations with others to trim back a few of the quotes. Our guests were thrilled with the ceremony, the celebration immediately afterwards, and the extended reception that evening. This is a professional service that absolutely lets you enjoy your day, your vows, your partner, instead of worrying about what you might have missed in organizing the details. We highly recommend Claudia, and also recommend she be engaged earlier in the process to take the stress away.
