We retained Nitelife for our wedding in 2018. Probably the worst decision I have ever made. Nitelife asked us for a list of songs a few months before the wedding, they had very few of them during the reception (The DJ was actually using spotify and couldn't find the songs). The DJ did not understand the concept of DJing, he would play songs in their entirety pause while he looks for the next one and then play the next song. It only got better when a family member jumped in to help out with song selection and mixing. We would have withheld payment if they didn't ask for full payment before the reception, lesson learned. EDIT DECEMBER 11, 2019 In response to your reply: Please look over your bookings for September 10, 2018, our reception was held at Oceanstone resort close to Peggy's Cove.. I have the right company (I have the completed form/contract with the company's contact information), I saw your DJ use spotify and observed that he was a terrible DJ. The booking is probably under my wife's name, Johanna.

Peter Dj'd my wedding back in 2015 and not even once was my dance floor clear. He had everyone up and dancing SO much, that people begged for me to extend my reception hours. He was super easy to communicate with, and played every single song on our request sheet we gave him! He even had a little surprise coordinated for me, with my mother, which hands down is my favorite memory of the entire wedding. I cannot comment directly on their DJ services, but I can comment on their professionalism - it is very poor. We had placed a deposit with them, before COVID, for our wedding in July 2021. Due to COVID, we have had to cancel our wedding. Nitelife DJ Services has been the only one of our vendors who has declined to return our deposit back out of good faith. We are all negatively affected by COVID, but that is not a great excuse to keep our deposit - especially when every other vendor (who are all equally affected or worse) decided to return it. This was unprofessional and shows what kind of principals they believe in.

Once they got your money dont expect them to pick up the phone. I have emailed/called multiple time get the invoice a multitude of times and radio silence which is unfortunate because I would have used their services again. Not any more.
