Very disappointed in the manager here and the way he handled dealing with me for my special day, I am already in so much stress having to cancel my wedding this year due to COVID. He was not accommodating at all, worst thing as he did not reply to my text messages or emails , how do these people run businesses, the sad fact is that we will not be able to have large gatherings for a few years. I would of hoped that he would of valued me as a customer and CALLED me back to have a conversation like an adult as text messages and emails can be taken in a different tone at times. When he did text me , he was of no help to me and just made matters worse. I do not understand where all this came from, as a bride I was hoping to get more respect. I asked him for the $1,000 deposit back as I will be booking with another hall who does not treat me this way and where I feel respected. The $1,000's can really help my family and I during this difficult time. I understand that it was a non-refundable deposit. I would hope he would have a bit more sympathy. I would of considered rescheduling but his attitude helped me and my family decide to not have any association with him. His behavior has caused me a lot of stress. Luckily I found a website where you can sell your deposit but he still owes me $200. I do not recommend this hall, he charges extra for things that other halls such as Bollywood Hall give with the Hall fee such as halal meat and DJ , this is also a very small hall which is a bad idea with covid because all your guests will be quite snug together.
