Hillary’s excellent interpersonal skills with all parties involved, sense of urgency, and friendly outgoing personality are just a few of the many reasons why we are so glad we chose her. We are so grateful we met with her early in the planning process because she referred us to all of the vendors we used and we were so happy with each of them. She got to know us as a couple and truly understood what was most important to us. Hillary and her team took our wedding vision to the next level with creative ideas that were magical and best-in-class execution, all while maximizing our budget. The team of Hillary J Events is nothing short of spectacular and other than saying "YES!", the best decision of our entire engagement and wedding! While pivoting from a large wedding and reception in St. Louis to a 30 person intimate week in Kiawah Island was challenging for me to manage as the bride, Hillary could see every important detail in the new setting with just a little southern charm added to it. Her focus and commitment to discovering each couple's "most important details" was reflected in the final design of the ceremony and reception that was everything we had dreamed of. She had a way of creating a unified vision from different thoughts and pictures that unburdened me as the bride. Anyone can pull down Instagram and other inso photos - it truly does take an expert in event design and planning to execute the dream on your biggest day! Every ribbon, every plate, every flower, and every linen was nothing short of perfection - without Hillary and Caroline, I do not believe this would have ever happened. Their vision, efforts, and just support in planning a wedding, in general, are an investment I would make over and over again. My gratitude to the team of Hillary J Events is genuinely endless for creating the most perfect Day One ever with my one and only! Cheers to you!!

There are not enough words to describe Hillary and how amazing her services are. Her professionalism, creative mindset, attention to detail, and her big beautiful heart helped me plan my wedding and gave me the best day of my life. Even though they are based out of STL, the HJE team can help you, no matter where in the world you are. The communication was terrific as well as all the services and partner vendors! Being remote and not needing ALL the services, the team was so accommodating for what I needed and what worked best for me/our big day. I was stressed that I didn’t have a “vision” for the team to work with, but that was a blessing… I told them all my wants, needs, dreams and desires… and it all came to life on my big day, thanks to HJE. I could not have had the wedding of my dreams if it wasn’t for the HJE team ????????

Hiring Hillary and her team for our wedding was arguably the best decision we’ve ever made. I am a Type A, detailed oriented perfectionist and was concerned planning a wedding would take over my life and add unnecessary stress to what should be a beautiful and joyous time in life. I would imagine each of us has been professionally impacted by COVID-19 in one way or another, however I've never seen anyone handle the pandemic quite like Hillary. Hillary and I had 14 months to plan a wedding, however we were left scrambling when the pandemic hit just three months out from our wedding date. She ensured we would not have to sacrifice anything and that our wedding could still be as sentimental and special as ever! I will be forever grateful for the vendor connections she made (flowers, photography, music, venue), the constant communication she delivered (online and via text), and her (champagne) bubbly personality that always brought me out of any dark days. She is a boss babe, an accommodating hostess, and an amazing friend who will not let you down!

Hiring the HJE team was the best decision! Hillary made all of our wedding visions come to life. We were living in Florida and planning our wedding in St. Louis. I thought it would be extremely stressful, but Hillary made every part of the planning enjoyable. She is bubbly, positive, organized and direct. She made sure everything was done exactly how I wanted it, but also gave me choices based on my color scheme, vibe and thoughts to make my vision better. Hillary helped me pick the BEST vendors in St. Louis to make our wedding magical. On the weekend of our wedding she had my back with all the little details that I might have forgotten to do so that I would not be stressed. She helped us stay on top of everything ahead of time so that the weekend of our wedding we could truly enjoy every moment. Hillary was not only an amazing wedding planner, but became a good friend. Hillary is THE BEST!!! Hillary can be as involved or uninvolved as you want. We originally thought we just wanted a planner for day of stuff in St. Louis because we had already found our "big" vendors. When we had to pivot to our "Plan B" wedding and have a micro wedding in Colorado I called Hillary in tears explaining how I couldn't imagine replanning a whole wedding three months out and doing this without her. She was quick to accept our invitation to Colorado and immediately started planning the entire thing and found every vendor (which was difficult in a tiny resort town in CO!) I didn’t lift a finger after our big STL wedding was cancelled which was a life saver and made the entire process stress free during this extremely stressful year! Every single detail of our Plan B wedding was absolutely perfect, and all the things I never knew I wanted! That's because Hillary makes sure to get to know the client for exactly who and what they are so she can make your wedding day reflect exactly what you want and need. It was an honor and a privilege to have Hillary as an essential part of our wedding day, and I wouldn't have had it any other way!!

I cannot recommend Hillary and her team enough! From our very first meeting, I knew Hillary was more than just a wedding planner. She hit the ground running, and not only made sure every item we wanted was present at our wedding, but came up with so many small, creative ideas that made our wedding feel like 'us'. On the actual wedding day, there was never a moment I worried or stressed over anything, I knew that Hillary and her team had it all worked out, and the day went off without a hitch.
