The sky’s the limit with this venue. I have worked with Kim on several events and each time has been a wonderful experience. Being a business owner myself I understand that unexpected things can happen, but we have to learn to regroup and push through it…AND THATS WHAT KIM DOES. The past year and half has taught us that your life can change over night so we don’t need to sweat the small stuff. I’ve experienced Kim be very accommodating, flexible, and professional with her her clients. I Love the fact that this venue is south of Atlanta and you don’t to travel into the city to host a nice event. The venue grounds are beautiful and you have so many options for decorating. If you’re looking for a Venue…THIS IS IT!

My family booked this venue only to discover the business is a total scam. The "DJ", is the owner's teenaged daughter picking songs from YouTube, the "photographer" is her other teenaged daughter taking pics with her iPhone, and the "Bar" isn't a bar at all. Don't be fooled by this place. I appreciate her wanting to keep it in the family but it just wasn't professional at all. Don't waste your money.

This venue is beautiful. We got married here and I could not have asked for a better place. They are very professional and easy to work with. We asked the venue to do our decorations and they were wonderful. We wanted a pink and gold theme and honestly the decorations were beautiful with a reasonable price!! NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL. LIT PLACE!!! Kim is sweet! I was invited to a private event and we were shown a very nice welcome and we were happy to see it was private and extremely safe with the onsite officer. No one bothered us and we chilled, ate, drank and even listened to the GTREAT LIVE MUSICIAN that was playing. I definitely will be back!

This graduation party for my granddaughter at Dawson Creek Estate was absolutely the best. It was as if she knew her personally the way each room was decorated. The food was oh so good and I mean everything was seasoned well. Starting at the pool and throughout the house and security that was on site, well done. Thank you we will be back.

Hi. I was touring the venue last week so we could book our event. I know for a fact that the staff and the owners are not scammers. I signed a contract that says exactly what I am paying for. I also have a signed copied guarantee with satisfactory service. My skin is also black and Kim does not see color. I also had stopped by again to show my fiancé the venue and there were about 9 or 10 people that were tirelessly working to make the Aug 2 reunion perfect. That takes time and also money to pay for the beautiful place it is unless they trashed it. The price was so reasonable and the only request from the owner was to just be Kind. She also voiced that the family is owned and they love Jesus. Often people can’t see the joy in a person because they have no joy in their hearts. We are exited to have our event at Dawson Creek.

A complete rip off it's sad that you pay for your event months in advance for it to be cancelled the day of the event and then she is trying to keep the 1300 deposit. Oh well I look forward to seeing you in court. Why are you lying on these people. Can you say defamation? That's exactly what you're doing. You should be ashamed you took advantage of a pregnant woman, took her money and embarrassed her on her special day. You have children and you're taking from someone's unborn child. How evil and heartless can you be? I never said any names and you're going on and on about these people. See everyone she's extremely unstable!

Horrible please please stay far away from this place The Owner is very unstable and unprofessional. Other family members friends and Myself traveled many miles to attend my neice Babyshower. But instead of coming to celebrate what was supposed to have been the most exciting time for a excepting Mom we had to comfort her instead. The owner took 1300 dollars and cancelled her event without warning. She was so hurt and embabarrased she was taking advantage of and ripped off and to add insult to injury this lady is lying on her reviews. People please please stay far away from this place. This lady is trying to defend herself by telling lies my niece did not go to jail she left the property peacefully and heartbroken . By the way we recorded all ur bias conversations you really need some professional help you shouldn't even be in business. So we will see you in court

Nice land but the interior of the venue is not kept up well. The owner and her staff (just her teenagers) were dressed in dingy lounging clothes and tried to involve themselves in our event way too much. Like....we’re all in wedding attire and they’re all around in what look like week-old pajamas, eating our food and interrupting us. They call is “nice southern hospitality” but it is very unprofessional, unsanitary and annoying. Would not recommend.

The worst event experience I have EVER had. Kim Goggins is inexperienced, incompetent and all-around nasty. Do yourself a favor and book anywhere but here! We booked an "all inclusive" package for our wedding (rehearsal, wedding day and an overnight for the bride and groom). Let me start by saying that my husband and I both have hospitality degrees and have both worked events, and I have never seen such a mess as Dawson Creek the weekend of our wedding. My first red flag should have been when she demanded a $500 deposit for booking BEFORE I even saw the place, but I made it in time to see the venue before giving her the money, and at the time it appeared to be the place. There is a lovely magnolia tree in the front of the property, and this seemed like the perfect backdrop for our wedding, so we booked - BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER! Due to Kim's incompentantce and generally combative nature, we were forced to switched caterers mid-way through planning, this was headache and required us to go back to the venue for yet another meeting. We continued with our planning and had multiple conversations/meetings with Kim about expectations and needs, Kim assured us they cover everything, and it would be wonderful. However, when we showed up for our event the neighboring property had put up ORANGE construction fence and the property was littered with no trespassing and property line signs - all now the new backdrop for our wedding ceremony!!! WHEN WE BOOKED/VISTED THERE WERE NO SIGNS AND NO FENCING!!! KIM NEVER MENTIONED THIS ONE TIME DURRING ANY CONVERSATION THEREAFTER AND WAS WELL AWARE! SHE OFFERED NO SOLUTION EITHER! We had to come out of pocket the day of to try and mask it (went to Home Depot and bought items to attempt to hide it) - the fencing is in all pictures of the ceremony! Also, the property was littered with fire ant piles! Multiple guests were bitten, you can see them in pictures people took and they did nothing to resolve this! Additionally, the venue photographer showed up late, didn't stay the entire time and told us that the package does NOT come with any facial retouching - when our invoice clearly says Photographer before and during the event, and full edits! And, the week before the event she calls me (Bride) and demands an additional $1400 for tent deposits (our invoice paid in full at this point)! This is something that was never discussed and not in any contract or agreement, which I pointed out to her & she had no response for, other than threatening not to set up the tents we had already paid for if this additional (unmentioned) deposit was not paid in full! We reluctantly gave her another $900 (in addition to the $500 already given for damage deposits) and paid for a separate tent as well, so we could have our event, as it was now being threatened. We were told at the end if the night that there was no damage to anything (we have video and photos of everything in perfect condition and multiple people heard Kim say this) and Kim has refused to return out $1400 in refundable damage deposits! She is a true criminal! She even tried to charge us more post event!!!! DO NOT USE!!!! Additionally, my flowers were changed without consulting me, the grooms area was not set up on time, we did not have the popcorn machine we paid for, there is no handicap access and there were not enough bathrooms available for guests, there was no dumpster onsite (not up to code), so much more - too much to name in one review - 0 stars! Do not waste your time or money here - she is a true CRIMINAL and will illegally take your deposits! Also, there is a google review below mine by Harriett Hiland, Kim claims this is not a real person - IT IS MY MOTHER - SHE IS SUCH A CLOWN SHE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHO HAS HIRED HER!!!!!

I recently had a birthday party here for my daughter. The owner was very respectful and made sure to go out of her way for my daughter to have a great party. Her and her staff are beyond amazing and lived up to my expectations. The venue itself is beautiful place to host any type of party.

I’ve known the family of this business and we have worked in the same industry. We do the lights and big tents for large events. We are always paid in advance before we can do any events. The owner is so polite and sometimes she is mistaken for the people in the world that has no respect for others property. Sadly this Is one of those times. I know she didn’t mean any hard feelings but at same time she is like me that we can’t allow people to walk all over and take advantage of the kindness. Treat people the way you want to be treated and you will be surprised how your life will be better. We will always be at Dawson Creek to support our friends in need. Of those who didn’t even meet the owner, don’t make waves when one day you might cross paths and the one person you are hurting will be picking you up. Bless you all.

Mostly invited to most events and I have had the best time and there was not one problem from the staff or KIM. If anything she is way too nice and she is either mistaken by her kindness for weakness and she will stand up for what is right but she has NEVER said a bad words against guest. She does what it is needed to make ppl happy. Too many ppl are just a pain in the rear and they EXPECT what they won’t pay for! Ppl get mad and make problems! Everyone knows how that is! Those ppl, you don’t want to deal with them anyway! This venue is for high profile and celebrities and good ppl. No one has time for this petty false reviews or trashy ppl that can’t afford this venue!

The day I tour the venue Mrs Kim was lovely. She seemed very welcoming and accommodating. During the pandemic she still requested my money after 45 days before my wedding day she she decides to restrict and my head count, took away my bar, my days stay all by choice though we can social distance. I paid 5700 and I only received 2000 because she felt like because a refund was not mentioned that I wasn’t obligated TO MY MONEY... I had to get my lawyer just to get more than what she was offering. I have out of state people who were traveling and booked rooms and 2 days before she decided to restrict and take away from my wedding day stated that I could keep my 75 head count and take all the extra precautions.. on top of trying to make $700 out of me to pay her people when she have this people in place due to the pandemic... I am now having to find a new location who will allow my people and give me the wedding I deserve. She is a MONEY HUNGRY, MANIPULATIVE DISHONEST PERSON.... Do not be fooled by the smile, the land and pool... it is not worth it.. I lost $3700 and my even didn’t even take place after stating on the phone with my lawyer that technically their not open after telling me different via text. RUN?!!

I just got home from celebrating my daughters college graduation party. And all that I can say is Kim and her staff made this day the most amazing and beautiful day for my girl. Her reaction to seeing the set up was priceless and all she could say when we got home was “this was the best day EVER!” That wouldn’t have been possible without Kim. Everyone kept asking me if I had done the decorations because everything was so personal. They hit a home run and I will have every event that I host there and would highly recommend them.

This owner is defamatory. No one was arrested and taken to jail. She took my niece money and booked another event that same day. Then had police to meet them at the entrance. No one threatened her, yes anyone will cuss and swear if they was ripped off for $1300. I’ve heard this lady my self in a phone call she placed to my other niece saying “ I’m not giving her her baby shower until she apologize for cursing at me on the phone” she then went on to say “ I ain’t even start decorating or anything yet” this was one day before the event. I’m also a witness to how much she calls my niece trying to turn sisters against each other. I wouldn’t trust this vendor for anything!

Im not sure why one party has a bunch of reviews referring to one but I had my wedding with Dawson Creek and they are very professional and great people to work with. We are people who love the venue and they are the most christian like people we came with 230 guests and they all had a great time. And the owner is not what one event is saying about her. She helped me through our entire event. I was showing someone where we had our wedding and we saw the reviews so we decided to write something nice because our opinion is that the venue and its workers are great and we see them as our friends.
