Getting married in the most trying time, in the thick of the toughest part of COVID was devastating for us. Throughout the year of planning, we went from planning a wedding of 150 guests, to 50 guests, to 25 guests, to ultimately only having 10 guests for a ceremony only, no big dinner (our venue was able to offer us a romantic take out dinner for 2), and no reception. We had postponed by a year once, we weren't doing it again, whatever we did we knew June 6th was going to be our wedding day. Michael at WEDECOR was incredible throughout the year. From the very first email I felt at ease that they would be able to make our dream come true. Every time there was a new announcement and adjustments had to be made, Michael was so reassuring that no matter what we were able to do, they would make sure our day was beautiful. As stressful as it was to have to continue to update every vendor and ask 10000 questions, WEDECOR never made it difficult. They were open, accommodating and always there to answer our questions and help put us at ease. To say that they made our small and intimate day a dream come true would be an understatement. I was a very undecided bride, wasn't really sure exactly what I wanted, and just put my trust in Nancy, and knew that she would bring my love of baby's breath and white roses to life. Our chapel was a dream, and our dinner space was magical. My husband is not a huge fan of flowers or decor (he left this part all up to me) and even he was blown away by how amazing the space looked. Our bouquets, boutonnière's and flower girls crowns were absolutely perfect. Every detail was so elegant, simple, and even better than we could have imagined. We cannot say thank you enough to Michael, Nancy, and the entire team at WEDECOR for everything they did for us. <3

Not being huge flower people typically, we reached out to Nancy to create a statement piece with everlasting flowers - the goal being to create something beautiful that we could display in our home for years to come. We had used Wedcor for our wedding, and they did a pretty amazing job transforming the horticultural building into what we were envisioning for our big day. However, I gave 4 stars because of our initial meeting with Nancy. I had attended the Ottawa Wedding show where I ran into Michael at the Wedecor booth. We had a lengthy chat, he was familiar with the horticultural building, seemed genuinely interested and excited about what I was visioning and when my bridesmaid and I walked away, we agreed that we loved Michael and I wanted to work with him. My mother in law made the call and we went in to meet with Michael, but was greeted by Nancy who sat us down and started the process of listing our desires and the cost it would be to execute them. I will say Nancy is very knowledgable, often came off as rude and short with some of her answers. Thank god for Michael joining our meeting because he really lightened the mood. I was starting to get frustrated with Nancy, but I loved what Wedecor could do for us. I remember speaking with my mother law and saying if Michael isn't the day of coordinator than we need to look elsewhere cause I wanted to avoid interactions with Nancy. Michael is so pleasant, has an amazing attitude and goes out of his way to make sure everything goes according to plan. Wedecor did all the the floral arrangements for our wedding day - which were all beautiful, and all the set up and take down of the decor which was super helpful. Our ceremony was outside and they moved all the seating inside for dinner in a seamless transition and the way they decorated the horticultural building was absolutely perfect. They really transformed the space and we loved everything they did.

Wedecor was definitely a one-stop shop for everything. Their storefront is great and Kelsey was great to work with helping me to bring my ideas and vision to life. The flowers were all beautiful - the bouquets and boutonnieres were perfect. We had high and low centerpieces and they were stunning. I was just slightly disappointed with the quantity for the price. I thought we would have gotten more for the price we were paying.
