We got so many compliments on the decor and the guests were all using their beautiful design as a backdrop for photo ops! I loved the process of working with Estrelita and Elias and getting to know them too - they are so passionate for decor and their enthusiasm was very contagious. It was not easy to plan our wedding during a pandemic (to say the least), but Estrelita and Elias continually supported us and stood by us through all the ups and downs of pandemic-wedding planning. They were helpful during the planning of the wedding because I was so stressed! Moreover budget and deadline were tight but they made it happen! And on top off all, they blessed us with a free surprise decoration upgrade! The night before the wedding, we discovered a completely different backdrop from the one we chose. We had our wedding in July 2017, and our decor was provided by Estrelita and Elias. The decor was beautiful, and all aspects, from planning to the big day, were fantastic. During the planning phase, they spent a lot of time with us going through different options. What was great is that they were actually able to show us various styles, set-ups, and lighting options live during our visits, as they have a large selection of decor on site. We were then able to edit these demo set ups until it was perfect. They were willing to work with us to meet our budget. Everything went perfectly on the big day. Estrelita has been amazing to us since a year ago that we have booked her. Our wedding is happening in less than 5 months and we can tell how much she has been patient, understanding and helpfull. Dear Estrelita and Elias, First of all, my message to all brides-to-be who are trying to make up their mind now, is that they should not underestimate the importance of a décor and flowers done by professionals! An outstanding décor is really what will bring up the glamour factor that any wedding requires. And that's why based on a friend’s recommendation, with the great insistence of my sister, I decided to give it a try! However, my only concern was about some specific colours I wanted for my wedding: yellow mustard and royal blue. We were worried Sizzling Décor could not deliver on this specific color of roses for the centrepieces, bride bouquet, etc... But to our great surprise Estrelita indicated that they could, and the D-Day the flowers were perfect, the exact nuance we had hoped for!! To Sizzle with Decor, I first found Sizzle with Decor’s website during an online search looking for wedding decorators in the Ottawa area. Estrelita Aboukassam called me within 15 minutes of my initial contact. She quickly made an appointment to mock up a design with us. Prior to the appointment, we weren’t exactly sure what we wanted for decor for the wedding, but Estrelita and her husband Elias helped us figure out what we wanted and how it would look. They spent a couple of hours discussing design options and showing us their beautiful decor. They even mocked up a backdrop for us which no other vendor offered to do. We could tell right away that Estrelita and Elias take great pride in their work; they do whatever they can to ensure that their clients are happy. It was a pleasure working with Sizzle with Decor. They ensured all the details of our wedding were covered. Prior to the reception on our wedding day, Estrelita offered to help my Aunt with our display of the wedding favours. She waited patiently for my Aunt and Mom to meet her at the reception hall because she didn’t want to leave the wedding favours unattended. She went out of her way to make sure everything looked beautiful, even if it wasn’t part of our contract to help us with the favours. They are passionate about their decor and wanted to make sure everything looked perfect. Estrelita takes pride in returning phone calls and emails as quickly as she can. She has a very strong work ethic and she does everything she can to help you organize your wedding day. Her recommended vendors have the same work ethic as she does and are equally amazing. She was a tremendous help with us finding our florist and wedding cake vendor. When we came into the reception hall on our wedding day, we were blown away by the decor. Our guests raved about how beautiful the hall looked. Even our DJ commented on how nice our hall was. He told us “the decor company sizzle was an awesome choice for your wedding; your room looked amazing like out of a magazine!” Planning a wedding is a very stressful event in one’s life but my husband and I both agree that hiring Sizzle with Decor for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. To Sizzle with Decor, My husband and I live in Edmonton, but we are both originally from Ottawa, and our wedding was in the Water Court Foyer of the National Gallery of Canada; I had to plan everything from afar. Instead of an e-mail back from my initial contact, Estrelita picked up the phone and called me within minutes of me sending my inquiry …where do you find customer service like that?! She spent over an hour with me on the phone explaining the process, asking me what my vision is, what the budget is, finding solutions to get what I want despite it and going through everything in detail. After we hung up, she emailed me everything we spoke about. On that note, she is the only one in Ottawa that has the orchid colour, which was exactly what I had been looking for. Due to the distance everything was done over phone and e-mail, but the day I arrived to Ottawa I had an appointment with her to show me everything we had chosen and Elias was there, he was very welcoming and friendly. It was the first time I met her in person, and she is a wonderful lady. While I was there she even helped me with other last minute wedding preparation stuff, and she shared a few of her business contacts with me, which was very generous of her. Estrelita, Elias and their team went above and beyond our expectations! My husband and I had a sneak peek of the reception before the guests arrive and we were speechless; and when the guests arrived they complimented on how the room was completely transformed. Working with her was such a pleasure with her positive spirit. Her success comes from her hard work, whatever questions I had, she would e-mail me back no matter the hour. Also, I felt reassured that I was her only bride that day, and that she would be at the venue overlooking everything, this goes to show that she is about quality and not quantity.
