Jenny was a life line on more than multiple occasions, whenever my wife needed her she was available and interested and adept at ensuring the problem was not only dealt with but also that little to no anxiety was left as a result of her reassuring words. This was all on the lead up to our 5 day wedding, but throughout the 5 days she went above and beyond to ensure the days ran smoothly and was always on hand to provide advice and direction. I don't even know where to begin writing this review.. I've thought about it for the last few days how i can put my appreciation into words and not sure any words will do Jen justice !!!! Simon and I had our wedding at port eliot on july 1... we were planning from the us and def needed some guidance. I am in awe on how much work jenny put into our wedding.. countless hours for up to 12 months prior... i can not stop re living the wedding day in my mind.. everyone has commented on how flawless the day was.. from every little detail to the flow of the events on the wedding day.. even if i weren't planning from across the pond i would want Jen and Jess by my side on my wedding day ! I did not look at a watch at any point of the day/night... jenny and jess guided the day perfectly and thats why i was able to enjoy the wedding as much as i did... our parents did not need to stress about a thing..timing things or knowing when to cut the cake or set up the fire pits for the s'more station .. the list goes on... Not only was Jen a true professional and amazing at what she does ... but she is the most amazing/genuine person EVER !!!!!!! ill need to visit her office when I'm back in the UK.. she's truly just the best !!!!!!!! Jenny recently coordinated our wedding at Ocean Studios, helping to make our day perfect! From the initial meetings gathering all our important details to contacting all our suppliers, Jenny was incredibly organised and had everything covered, without me even having to ask! No query was to big or small for Jenny to answer. Jenny and her team were the welcome calming presence we needed on the day before the wedding, helping me to style the venue in line with my vision. As a designer, I had planned every last detail and had such a set idea of how I wanted the venue to look and run and Jenny exceeded my expectations. Better yet, Jenny managed all of this on the day with her team without once having to ask my husband and I for anything! We were able to relax and enjoy our day knowing everything was taken care of. Family members and guests have commented on how perfectly the wedding ran and how efficient and friendly Jenny was during the whole weekend. We don’t know how to put into words just how great Jenny and her team are. My husband and I had Jenny as our wedding planner and it was the best decision we made when it came to the wedding – It made the lead up, set up and day stress free knowing she was there. We spoke with various suppliers in Cornwall who all said how fantastic she was and they were so right. We are not local to Cornwall so Jenny and her team were a true godsend. Jenny is creative, imaginative, professional, efficient but also a genuinely lovely person to be around. Her passion for planning events and weddings is infectious and she made our wedding, as cliché as it sounds a ‘dream come true’. During the planning stages someone told us that ‘the details at a wedding are what take it to the next level’ and Jenny is all about the detail! She had a contingency plan for every possible scenario, and ran a military operation in such a relaxed way with an incredible level of detail in her schedule, so it was no wonder that nothing was missed. Finally, when it came to the décor and dressing of the wedding, she very quickly caught on to the style that we wanted; taking our ideas, improving them and making them possible. Every room, table and place setting was pristine and Pinterest worthy! We can’t thank Jenny, Maisie and her team enough for everything that they did. If we could give them all 100 stars, we would. We really can’t recommend them highly enough.

Jenny went above and beyond both in run up to and on the day of our wedding. Without her our wedding wouldn't have happened. What we really appreciated and loved about her was that she was so willing and open to understand our vision for the wedding despite that it wasn't your typical traditional wedding. She understood how we wanted to make it unique and also understood what was important to us so that she could enhance those areas (for us it was the food, music, and how we did our ceremony), while the "boring" or less important stuff she happily took over so that we didn't need to. She was magic on the day of too. Neither of us had to stress about details and logistics, our guests' needs were attended to while we were able to enjoy ourselves completely stress free and soak in our special day. She was a joy to be around and every one of our guests commented about how friendly and amazing she was too. Jenny was such a joy to work with, always with a smile and calmness to her and we would recommend her to anyone who's planning a wedding whatever size, shape, or form! Thanks again Jenny! As soon as we approached Jenny and asked that she would be our wedding planner we knew that we had hit the jackpot! From the very instant we met Jenny she made us feel at ease and made wedding planning a dream. After being recommended by our wedding venue, bocconoc, We had video call and straight away Jenny understood what our vision was. Communication was a breeze and Jenny was always free whenever we needed even though I as a bride had the quite an erratic schedule. We produced some mood boards for Jenny to give her an idea of what we liked and from that she completely understood our vision . I would say that Jenny made our day the best version of what it could be and everything we have ever dreamed of. She took our fragments of dreams and turned them into a golden, glowing reality: enchanting bride draped in French lace; 13th century church; tumbling peonies, picturesque lambs, sparklers lighting the night sky as the couple drove off in a vintage Rolls. Perfection. Both winsome and amazingly efficient, Jenny tackles any need or desire you have for a wedding. She sources hard-to-find items; she tackles difficult projects; she works tirelessly and with great good cheer, and in the end, we all live happily ever after! If you are one of those people who would never hire a wedding planner, think again. As an aesthetically opinionated and detail-oriented mother of the bride, I didn't trust anyone else's taste. I was determined to do things myself. I waited half-way through the process before contacting Jenny, and I later wished I had done so the day after the engagement. She would have saved so much hassle and planning. As it was, she made our daughter's beautiful Cornwall wedding come to life. No detail was too small; no unusual request too challenging; no task too much. She managed it all with grace and skill. She is smart, efficient, charming and unbelievably hard-working. We simply could not have given our daughter the exquisitely romantic wedding we all enjoyed at Boconnoc without her.

Jenny planned a 40th birthday party for my wife in Trebetherick. The party was outside (a “festival”) theme so we had to deal with all that the weather could potentially throw at us. We also live about 250 miles away so we really needed a safe pair of hands. Fortunately with Jenny planning the event every eventuality was taken care of. She’s incredibly creative and utterly unflappable leaving me to enjoy the festival!

Where do I begin! Jenny was an absolute joy to work with. She helped co-ordinate our wedding at the beginning of September this year. Nothing was too much trouble - Jenny thought of things that even a control freak like myself hadn’t. Efficient, logical, hard working & a gorgeous person inside and out, I cannot recommend her enough.

I have worked in the wedding and event industry for many years yet I have never come across a more unpleasant and unprofessional “professional”. I was employed by a lovely couple to play a solo piano set at their wedding in Cornwall and also provide the evening music with my soul covers band. What should have been an easy, pleasant gig, and another successful wedding, was marred completely by the meddling and inefficiency of Jenny. We have successfully provided the music for in excess of 300 weddings; unfortunately this event, due to this wedding planner, was the most unpleasant and disorganised affair wedding we have ever been involved in. I felt desperately sorry for the couple involved although, as far as I know they were unaware of the complete chaos taking place behind the scenes of their big day. Numerous contracts were sent to Jenny to confirm the booking and relevant details/deposit amount/total cost etc yet she claimed each time that they had not been received (really though, is it likely that four separate contracts all got “lost in the post”?) It eventally took months and months of chasing before we were able to receive a signed contract back from Jenny confirming the booking and the relevant details. In the end the contracts turned out to be useless as this wedding planner completely changed every detail of the agreement on the day. As we are extremely experienced with weddings we understand that they do not always run to plan and there has to be flexibility on all sides – therefore the issues of changing the starting times and finishing times did not really cause us much concern. However when it is suddenly demanded that we play far in excess of the agreed set times it shows a complete lack of organisation and respect for our service and fee agreement. I doubt any other band would have agreed to play far longer, essentially for free, but we wanted the couple involved to have their perfect day I am sure if you are an engaged couple then you would have a very different experience with Jenny. You may even see some of this “personable character” that Jenny describes herself as having. However I would be very concerned for any couple dealing with Jenny that experienced any kind of issue as I can only describe her severe lack of care, disorganisation and abrupt and aggressive demeanour. Is that really something you want to be confronted with when planning your important day? For other wedding professionals – perhaps musicians, caterers or any other type of supplier I would strongly warn you against dealing with this company. Or I would advise you protect yourself and the couple involved with a contract – but really……what would be the point?

Cornwall was the first holiday that I went on with my fiancée Meg when we first started going out, so I knew that I ideally wanted to propose there! There was one small problem – I live over 250 miles away! Logistically I knew that this was going to be a real challenge to setup without some help. A Google search led me to Jenny Wren Weddings and Events. Jenny is quite simply incredible! I could not have been in a safer pair of hands. I brainstormed some ideas that I had with Jenny and she totally got how I wanted the proposal to play out. We ended up with a shortlist of 3 locations and the lovely thing about Jenny is that she was 100% behind me going for any of these spots whilst at the same time discussing with me well thought out logical pros and cons. In the end we opted for Lusty Glaze, which was a location Jenny had recommended. It meant that we would essentially have our own private beach which made the proposal really intimate and private. The other real advantage of Lusty Glaze is that we only had to walk 100 meters to the onsite restaurant and we were also staying in a cabin on the beach. At the time, Jenny had explained to me how much we would appreciate not having to incur lots of travel time – she was right! The proposal was incredible! There is no way in a million years I could have pulled it off on my own. Even 2 months later, myself and Meg still regularly about how magical it was! It’s a moment that will live with us both for the rest of our lives! Thank you Jenny – I had massive ambitions for my engagement to Meg and you made it all possible.

We vetted several wedding planners - for several reasons I was apprehensive about this concept - firstly the cost and whether it was worth the “extra” expense and secondly I was slightly nervous about the expertise and understanding that might be demonstrated for a gay (male) wedding. Jenny was our last “interview” and our first impressions were spot on, from the first time we met her, during the planning phase, and many months later during the day and evening events. She was highly experienced with bags of knowledge, passionate, professional, conscientious and also great fun. By the day of the event, I completely trusted Jenny to make the day run seamlessly and that is exactly what she did. Jenny, was absolutely amazing and with us all the way through the ups and downs of the last few years. It’s hard to find the words to thank her for everything she has done for us. We know we set a hard task with the wedding we had dreamed about but she always brought all our ideas to life with excitement, perfection and encouragement. I was thinking of a way of proposing and the location to do it at for weeks. I eventually settled on St Ives; I’ve always loved Cornwall and St Ives looked cosy and romantic. I still needed to decide how the proposal would work. I was starting to pull my hair out and becoming very stressed, until google became my best friend. I found Jenny at the top of the search and quickly had a scan of her website as well watched a beach proposal video. I wanted something as special as that, so without hesitation I emailed Jenny. I got a reply and we spoke on the phone the very next day. I instantly felt a connection with Jenny, making me feel at ease and taking the stress of planning off of my shoulders. Over many many weeks, countless emails, phone calls and video messages, we had it all sussed! Everything I wanted Jenny made possible, from the music play list to favourite flowers to comfy little cushions. It was perfect. On the day Jenny and I kept in contact, secretly texting eachother. Even when I was feeling nervous she was giving words of encouragement! Walking up the hill to the chapel with Sarah, my girlfriend, and seeing what Jenny had created, it took our breath away. Sarah was in tears and I must admit I got very emotional! Jenny stuck around after me doing my bit on one knee (she said yes!) and we had a little chat and took some amazing pictures for us. I could not recommend Jenny enough. She made the planning fun and not at all stressful, and ensured our special day went to plan. I wouldn’t hesitate to tell all men (or women!) looking for advice and help, to contact her! If only she lived closer to us in Hertfordshire as I would want her to help with our wedding next! Everyone said afterwards - best wedding of the decade - and that's mainly down to Jenny and team who were not just a joy to work with, but had access to the best caterers, suppliers as well as attention to detail - including walking the dogs during the day and keeping the youngest of our six children entertained during the set-up days. My husband and I had Jenny as our wedding planner and we couldn’t have been happier with the service we received. Jenny provided excellent support in putting together our perfect wedding, which was no small task. The brief was 180 people, and two venues in a tucked away corner of Cornwall. Our reception was in a marquee in my parent’s back garden which meant everything had to be provided by an outside supplier, from the wine to the chairs and so on – logistically a tall order. Nevertheless, Jenny brought it all together for us. She was responsive, efficient, thoughtful and a genuinely lovely person to be around. Indeed a number of our friends and family remarked to us how great they thought she was both in the lead-up and on our big day. Throughout the whole process she had an incredible knack for intuitively knowing what we did/didn’t like, without us really having to spell it out, which is a real asset of Jenny’s and made the whole process effortless on our part. So many guests commented that it was the best wedding they'd been to, including their own, and we owe a lot of that to Jenny.
