Our charity (Children's Aid Foundation of Ottawa) hired Jarrod and his eSax team to manage the technical logistics for our online World Trivia Night fundraiser in November 2020. With 700 people online playing trivia, eSax ran a smooth event that raised 90% of what we normally would have with an in-person event! This event is getting larger and more famous, it seems!! Having been away for a few years working south of the border (SOTB!), I attended this event last week and made some new friends, great new business connections, learned about services and networks of interest to me, as a 're' newed Ottawan, and re-connected with old acquaintances to find out what they have been up to! There is opportunity to easily mingle with the people there, and take your time to really 'hear' people and be heard. The set up is 'trade show' style, so there is something to start a conversation at every step, and although there were not speakers this event, there usually are and they are interesting to listen to. Thanks for making this event continue to happen, I remember the very first one back at Maxwell's years ago...the birth of a great idea!!

We could experience the Casino fireworks from the rooftop restaurant in the market, the food and drinks were amazing and since this was exclusive to just a few high level entrepreneurs, I could meet everyone. We used eSax to coordinate our annual @Belleville Chamber of Commerce President's Dinner and Cornerstone Awards presentations. With Jarrod's help, we created a show flow that offered nearly 100 "homes" (and reached over 170 people) that included networking, sponsor recognition, live action and pre-recorded videos and left those who attended feeling like they'd actually been "out" for a live event. We managed to keep our audience engaged for nearly 4 hours (unheard of) - by using this platform to keep things moving and changing throughout the evening. This was NOT another Zoom meeting... but the safest "3-hour boat cruise ever"!
