I cannot say enough about AJE! Because of COVID, I was unable to travel over the holidays but wanted to feel connected to family as much as possible. I had heard great things about AJE and decided to reach out to get some ideas - Amanda was wonderful! She understood exactly what I needed and took care of everything. From coordinating deliveries, to wrapping and dropping off gifts, no job was too big or small and she did it all with such elegance!! I highly recommend AJE for any event, big or small. Amanda is the best!!

I reached out to Amanda after purchasing one of her amazing party packs in hopes that she could help me pivot a traditional in-person annual fundraiser into a virtual event. In an effort to illustrate more fully: In much the same way as when people put words to feelings and/or thoughts, and you have a moment of "omg, yes!! That's exactly what I meant, I just couldn't find the words!", Amanda does this through her expert event planning. She will materialize every thought, feeling, and idea you have, and her gift is her innate ability to bring it to life in such a way that you could have "sworn" she had simply projected your imagination outward; the details and fine touches, from the logistics and entire scope. Working with Amanda Ruddy is a dream. Most recently Amanda planned an intimate Italian style 1-year anniversary for us. Not only did she know every single COVID rule, had existing relationships with all of our vendors, she was able to create a space for us to socialize and enjoy each others company safely. She even curated custom masks for everyone and had branded hand sanitizer. It all went with the decor, was stunning and really elevated the experience for our guests. Every little detail from choosing a theme, creating unique personalized decor, to picking up our cake was covered. Her attention to detail is like no other. Due to the pandemic, Amanda has been so innovative with virtual events and party packs. AJE planned a bachelorette party for 14 of us women and it was hands down the best and organized bachelorette party I've ever attended. Amanda coordinated my son and daughter in law's wedding last month. She was extremely detail oriented and went above and beyond. There were a couple of small hiccups along the way but they were dealt with professionally and with the utmost grace. I worked with Amanda to create a party box for a virtual baby shower I was hosting. I approached her on short notice, as I needed to source the items and get the boxes mailed out within a week. She was great! My tight deadline did not discourage her enthusiasm. She presented me with a variety of options, and we worked within my budget. In the end she prepped over 20 boxes and filled them all with amazing party favors that I was proud to send to the guests. It was so fun to see everyone's reaction at the virtual party, and it made us all feel connected even though we couldn't be together in person. Having AJE was the best decisions I made for my 5 year celebration ‘of being in business.’ It was a milestone to remember & extremely rewarding because proceeds from the event went to the Royal Ottawa Hospital. Amanda is professional, extremely organized, honest and has a chic trendy taste! She navigated all the tiny to big details and made sure we were relaxed. It was a huge success.
