I'm sharing this review not out of spite but to make the next customer aware and well-prepared. I realize COVID has been very difficult on vendors but it has also been extremely stressful for those getting married.
Everything was going pretty well until the month of our wedding:
1) Our discount was reversed just the month before our wedding and reason was "it is just not feasible". This 15% discount was the reason we chose them as our vendor vs. the competitor. Being so close to the wedding, we had to agree to the new higher price;
2) Inventory pick-up time changed 2 weeks before the wedding. We had a contract for delivery the day before and pick up the day after; we received an email to say the inventory needed to suddenly be picked back up the same night of our wedding simply because they booked another event the next day and needed to accommodate that order despite what our contract said;
But the worst of it all was...
3) Despite what the contract stated, and several confirmations that the decor and inventory would arrive the day before our wedding between 11 am to 1pm, they arrived after 5pm. It was 2pm when I texted Britney asking where they were as we were all waiting to set up all the decor/inventory. She responded that she mistakenly thought the delivery was for the next day!!! She said she will get there as soon as possible and arrived after 5pm, while we were doing our rehearsal. After rehearsal we had our dinner but instead of being able to enjoy the evening, I had to get changed out of my rehearsal dinner dress and go back to decorating the reception hall with our wedding party because of how late the inventory arrived. On top of it all, wrong items were delivered and I had to basically beg Brittney to correct it the next day.
I was so flustered and stressed out. The whole reason we rented our venue the day before was so we could have extra time to set up our decor and be stress-free. The little wedding shoppe was the only vendor that failed us and caused stress.
I could have looked past all this if perhaps there was a follow-up email after the fact (didn't even expect any discount or reimbursement at this point considering they had removed our discount already from before), but there was nothing at all. They were paid in full and that was that. I reached out to Brittney myself a week later by e-mail, and she did not respond at all.
