She is so sweet and her personality is so easy to feel comfortable around. She had a ton of ideas for us and when we got our photos back we were absolutely IN LOVE with them! We met Leanne through Peaks and Vows! Leanne is so sweet and kind and so easy to work with. My husband and I had so much fun shooting with Leanne. Leanne is one of the kindest, most talented humans I have ever met. Our wedding went through many changes over the year of planning due to the pandemic. Leanne was so helpful and caring every step of the way. We ended up working with her and the Peaks and Vows team for a small intimate wedding. We went through multiple changes even up until days before our wedding and I am normally the biggest worrier, but I felt so calm and relaxed through the whole process. The Peaks and Vows team always made me feel so confident through every step and change that came our way. Leanne has the most amazing energy and made us feel so confident and comfortable every time we meet with her. We ended up with the most AMAZING photos and I couldn't have imagined doing it without this amazing team. Every time I look at our photos I can’t stop smiling. I couldn't have imagined any other photographer for our wedding day. She is such an amazing person who truly cares for the people she works with.

Leanne was our brilliant photographer for our helicopter elopement (yes, she does this!). I cannot thank her enough for being such a wonderful human and photographer. She is such a professional! She helped us with posing, made sure we were comfortable and captured the most amazing pictures of our day. After the wedding, she sent us our sneak pictures so quickly and stayed in contact to keep us updated. She delivered a huge gallery for us filled with so many amazing pictures. We're so happy we had Leanne to capture our wedding. I cannot recommend Leanne enough!

I was following a local photographer Leanne Sim on Facebook as she took photos of my best friend's sisters wedding, and I loved how her photos made me feel. Leanne posted a beginner's photography workshop all about the DSLR camera and I thought it would be a great investment, as I received one for Christmas. I took the course and loved her teaching style, her total ease and grace with a group of strangers, and how down to earth and unpretentious she is. Not only that, her art is stunning. I learned a lot from her and also took home excellent tools and reference materials that were provided during the workshop. As someone who is completely in love with my home, the Province of BC, Leanne's photography captures all of its raw natural beauty, while keeping you as the focal point. The nature and the subject she is capturing both compliment each other, neither one over taking the other. Her use of natural light in her work really connects with me on an emotional level which is one of the many reasons why she's now our family photographer. Leanne is also so incredibly kind. She always makes herself available online if you have any questions about anything. She doesn't take forever to get your photos back to you either, and she's always up to experimenting with different poses, lighting, or settings. She makes my husband and myself (and my dog????) feel comfortable in front of the camera, and that is a lot for shy couples who aren't used to showcasing their affection in front of someone or a big camera lens! I connect with her brand, her attitude, her photography style and that she loves to celebrate love! I hope you reach out to her as I know I'm so grateful to have lifelong memories of my beautiful family at all of the different stages of this busy and amazing life.

I hired her for my November 2020 wedding back in 2019, and she was excellent in accommodating the multitude of hurdles my fiance and I faced getting to the altar. From a car accident shortly before our schedule engagement shoot, a downpour of rain on the day of the original planned engagement shoot, to the COVID 19 pandemic, Leanne has made it stress free and easy to relax. Even on the wedding day, her energy and excitement kept me calm and laid back, and she was a trooper taking our photos in the freezing wind and getting covered in champagne, and taking photos of people who hate having their photos taken. Her attention to detail, friendliness and kindness is indescribable. As someone not naturally comfortable in front of the camera, she made it so easy to pose and feel relaxed.
