I was in a wedding at the Greek Canadian Community Centre on October 24, 2020. I gave myself a cooling off period before writing a review. I have worked in the customer service industry for 8 years. Their customer service was the worst I have ever encountered. Here is a summary: DISORGANIZED AND RUDE MANAGEMENT/STAFF. 1. Bride & Groom chose personal catering option, but the Centre didn't bother to keep anything warm. THEY SERVED COLD FOOD AT A WEDDING. I was SO shocked. Wait staff also disappeared after dishing out food...you'd think they would want to limit guests getting up in a pandemic?! 2. Manager rushed the Bride to start ceremony even though her MOTHER was on the way. 3. Manager initially denied $500 security deposit refund at the end of the night due to a few easily removable "scuff" marks on the ground from dress shoes or heels. And then staff threatened to call the cops when asked for it. Staff referred to guests as "you people" in a derogatory/racially charged manner. It took over an hour after the ceremony for the refund because manager had "technical difficulties." 4. Manager told Bride & Groom they could bring wine bottles for guests if they got a liquor license. And then denied them of having wine bottles on the property at the reception. 5.Told Bride & Groom their guests would have to leave for 20 mins while they set up the dining room but took longer than an hour and didn't provide anywhere for guests to go other than outside in the cold. 6. Made some guests help with setting up dining room... THE LIST GOES ON!!!!

I just had my wedding there on August 28 2021. The staff were very accommodating and very kind! We mainly dealt with the president of the hall since it is a non profit running it, and he was extremely accommodating to our every need, we couldn’t have asked for better staff on our big day! We brought our own catering in and used the kitchen. Overall the hall was very large and the bar/drinks were very reasonably priced especially for a wedding venue! We will definitely be booking the hall for any future large events!
