We have been chasing Nicky and Caralis Wedding and Events for over 8 months for a refund of our deposit (of only $169!!!). Our event was cancelled as government restrictions would not allow for it. We did not have a contract indicating that the deposit was non-refundable. Initially Nicky claimed that she did not have to refund our money as it was an "industry standard" to not refund deposits. We tried working with Nicky for months on a refund schedule that would meet her needs as she was unable to provide it all back at once. She ended up sending us $50 and then disappeared. I have reached out numerous times to Nicky for updates and she has failed to communicate. I wouldn't ever work with anyone as unprofessional as Nicky. We worked with all of our other vendors to come up with creative solutions that worked for both of us, but Nicky and her company couldn't even provide us the courtesy of honest conversation. We have advised the Elm Hurst Inn of the unprofessionalism that we experienced as they had initially recommended her to us.

0 stars is too much for this wedding planning service! Nothing turned out like we wanted, she practicly didn't do any of the things she said she would! We had to do everything before the start of the wedding, the centre pieces were nothing like what we discussed!! And the worst part is she charged us for things that she never even used!!!! Annnnddd she was not picking up her phone!!!! Would not recommend caralis to anyone!!!
