The Urban Field House went over and beyond my expectations of service! With 9 days notice and a province wide lockdown in place they swooped in to save our day! We were booked at another venue that was not very accommodating to say the least...... we were left just a little over a week away from our already year postponed covid wedding and we’re freaking out. Sarah At UFH stays up to date on all government safety guidelines and was able to take us in and host us for such a beautiful wedding ceremony. The venue is absolutely beautiful! Also several beautiful places to take pictures outside. There is a huge bridal suit on site for the ladies to get ready in. And a quaint little cottage on the premises that we were able to stay the night in. We ended up doing our first look pictures in the cottage with the use of a beautiful old barn door. We ordered a beautiful date night dinner that was delivered to us from Castellano Catering. Five star meal!!! The tech/DJ Kris was amazing to work with, with only a few days to plan he was so accommodating and came up with many great suggestions to make everything flow nicely for our event. When our wedding was rescheduled last year because of the pandemics, my now husband and I were so hurt and upset, but after having such a beautiful, Relaxing and Enjoyable wedding yesterday, it was worth the wait! Urban Field House Well it's been 2 weeks since we had the most amazing wedding. We had booked urban Feild house over 2 years ago, it was under renovations but the plans Sarah Ilijanich had were amazing and we new this was the place we wanted to say I Do. After not knowing what was going to happen being in pandemic we got the okay for are small but very intimate wedding. I sware I texted Sarah daily to ask her questions and she was always there to answer right away. Even the day of wedding she was amazing she went way above and beyond. Just the little things so this bride didn't have to stress about it. It definitely wasn't the wedding I started to plan 2 years ago but it was perfect. The venue is gorgeous the bridal room was beutiful the grounds for outside ceremony make you feel like your in the middle of nowhere. And the hall is amazing. Anyone looking to get married in the future check this place out. And don't let a pandemic stop you I'm so glad we didn't postpone and had our October wedding this year????

What a great experience we had. I wanna give a big shout out to BRANDON who was on top of everything the entire night. You and your wait staff did an amazing job and on behalf of the wedding party thank you. As far as food goes I can't decide what meal was better, the rehearsal or the actual wedding dinner. They were both exceptional and you guys made enough food to feed an army. Usually portions are small at most venues but I had to be rolled out of there because I was so stuffed. I highly recommend the beef tenderloin, as it was cooked to perfection!!!!! Great job all around by everyone involved in making this weeding an amazing experience.

My husband and I had the privilege of getting married at UFH on May 1. The Urban Fieldhouse has got to be the greatest place to choose to be married and that is for a few reasons. First of all, when you sign up to get married here, you also sign up for the most loving, caring, and attentive helper figure to guide you through the process, yes even through a pandemic. Sarah stood by and supported us through each government lockdown change. I feel so lucky that our venue came with a built-in support system like Sarah. Second of all, the venue space. Even though we had a small 10 person intimate ceremony the wedding vibe did not suffer. The indoors and outdoors of the space is breathtaking. The building is equipped with a large bridal suite with plenty of room to get ready and take pictures in. The main ballroom is honestly just something out of a movie. The outdoor grounds are spacious and there are plenty of great spots to take pictures. Lastly, the contribution of DJ Urban Kris to making our day perfect was immeasurable. Kris organized a beautiful live stream of our wedding for the many family and friends who couldn't come. Comments from virtual guests included "the audio and video were movie quality level" and "it truly felt like we were there and immersed". Thank you so much Urban Fieldhouse for making our day the most memorable and beautiful! We feel so blessed to have gotten married here. I only have amazing things to say about the team at UFH and would recommend them to ANYONE looking for an all-around stellar wedding venue.

Prior to COVID-19 pandemic, I had my reception venue booked elsewhere. Once all the restrictions from the wedding came out I decided to look elsewhere and immediately fell in love with Urban Field house after seeing photos online. The online photos didn't even do it justice! The venue doesn't even need decor! The rustic tables and chairs were perfect, the ceiling is beautiful and there is a gorgeous piano which sealed the deal for me after thinking of me getting photos of me playing for Ben ????. Sarah was also extremely friendly and made Ben and I very comfortable and confident that she would do whatever she could to make our day special. As restrictions continued to change Sarah always kept us in the loop. She even decided to get tents to allow brides the option of an outdoor wedding. All was set for June 2021 and then more restrictions came and we had to push it to August 2021. Sarah was always available to answer our questions and address any concerns we had. She never made us feel annoying and always was so kind and understanding. The night of our reception was a blast. Our friends and family had such a wonderful time. We only did appetizers instead of a full dinner and the apps were delicious, especially the wonton tacos and the crab cakes! We did mojitos as our signature drink and our guests raved about how good it tasted. I've cried multiple times during this wedding process but I can say Sarah is the only person who made me cry tears of happiness because of how hard she strived to make my day wonderful. We love you Sarah!

Went here for my brother and sister-in-law's wedding it was beautiful! Great interim area before the reception (was at another location) with snacks and drinks being served with staff. Great place for natural wedding photos to be taken- doubles as a great outdoor venue! Facilities have been recently renovated and look even better than before! Loved using the space for other community events, earlier in the year, as well. Management has always been quick to help whenever needed!

Our wedding is booked for oct 2021, eventhough its a year away covid restrictions are still looming and causing major wedding anxiety. I sat down with Sarah today and she was absolutely amazing with me. She explained every detail and answered all of my questions. She was extremely helpful and was able to set my mind at ease. I had the pleasure of attending a wedding at the Urban Field House in March. The ceremony was indoors and the reception was outdoors as per Covid restrictions. The indoor facility is beautiful and rustic. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The set-up outdoors was beautiful as well. The food was really good. I requested a vegan meal which was prepared well and satisfying. It was a little chilly outside as the sun went down. There were fire pits and a hot chocolate/coffee bar set up with full service. I really enjoyed the whole experience and I would highly recommend booking a wedding or any celebration there.

Urban Field House literally saved our wedding! Covid had been a nightmare for planning...our plans had changed continually from all the restrictions and only 4 months out we were in a bind once again to find a venue that could do an outdoor ceremony on the date we needed. UFH to the rescue! Sarah, Kris and Ryan were all really reassuring and accommodating. They helped put our minds at ease knowing that no matter what, they would make our day work and that it would be beautiful. This past Saturday they delivered over and above what I had even thought possible. The weather was unpredictable so they had prepared for the worst. Though once the weather cleared....like a flip of a switch they had everything set up outdoors and ready for the ceremony we had originally wanted!! It was absolutely stunning in it's simple elegance. Leading up to the ceremony was very relaxed and chill. Having a place on the grounds to get ready was super convenient. Sarah made sure we had everything we needed and made herself available always. We were served a delicious lunch before our ceremony to make sure we all had full bellies. Everyone loved the food...and the left overs came home with us!???? I simply couldn't have asked for better! I couldn't stop smiling that day! After all the stress and uncertainty this past year and a half it was such a relief being able to finally marry the love of my life in front of those who mean the most to us. Thank you UFH for making that happen. I would recommend you guys 1000x over! ❤????????

What an amazing experience we had for our daughters wedding. From our very first meeting Sara was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was helpful professional and so very accommodating which during these difficult times was priceless. Her communication throughout was fantastic and reassuring. Fast forward to the actual day. We could not ask for more. They worked to ensure we did not have any worries at all. When there was a mix up with a delivery I had personally arranged Steve immediately told me not to worry and he did the pick up himself. Unbelievably kind and unexpected extra service The food and bar service was great and I don’t even know where to begin about the food. It was absolutely 5 star. Our guests raved about how delicious everything was. We are over the moon thrilled with our Urban Field House experience and I would highly recommend!!

My now wife and I got married at Urban Field House on September 18 2021. The place is absolutely beautiful. Ceremony outside is amazing, first look was perfect on the bridge, pictures were all done there, outside and inside the rustic vintagey hall. Inside the hall is honestly the perfect place to get married. I heard nothing but positive comments from our guests all night on how beautiful it was in there. There is a suite for the bridal party to get ready and hangout in for the day and a grooms suite upstairs for the guys. Nice big clean bathrooms, lots of parking. The owner Sarah is absolutely awesome. Helped us with everything we needed and more. We did not do a rehearsal and she guided us the day of where and when we needed it. Book your wedding here, you won’t regret it and either will your guests!!!

We celebrated our wedding reception there this fall and couldn’t have asked for a better venue! It is already such a beautiful hall, so after adding our decor, our guests were blown away! We were able to bring in our own caterer which was a huge plus for us! Sarah was awesome to work with and was super accommodating to all of our odd requests! Setting up meetings with Sarah was a breeze! We did choose to rent nicer chairs versus covering theirs but the tables that were provided are beautiful! Make sure you have a plan in place to cover the back open stage area that is used for storage. We had a very enjoyable experience working with the Urban Field House!

We got married this weekend, and couldn’t have imagined our day being any better. Sarah was so accommodating when we told her we wanted to move up our wedding date. With just two weeks to prepare, the wedding was absolutely amazing. The food was phenomenal and the best I ever had. All of our guests loved it and stated it was the best meal they ever had. I highly recommend their in house catering. Kris, our DJ, was phenomenal. He was so sweet and such a big help. The music was flawless and he made everything flow so well. We downsized our wedding to only 18 people, and yet the venue did not feel empty at all due to the way they set it up. It was intimate and the best day of my life. Also, everyone loved the rosé. I am so happy I chose to get married here.

We had our wedding here on Oct 3 2020. We had to switch our ceremony 6 weeks before our date, not only was Sarah accommodating she made sure that the venue looked absolutely perfect on the day of. Absolutely amazing venue with a great team! I got married here. We had a small intimate ceremony during the pandemic, but the whole experience was still so special and unforgettable. Indoors and outdoors, this is a beautiful place! There's a huge bridal suite and an adorable honeymoon suite. Enough space for the Bride, Groom and the whole wedding party to get ready on site. It was great to have everyone and everything right on property. Sarah made sure the day was special even with all the covid restrictions. She went above and beyond - before, during and after the wedding! She made sure everything exceeded our expectations! Ryan of Castellano Catering, the in-house chef, made sure we were well fed. With all the restrictions, we opted out of dinner for our guests, but Ryan still made my husband and I a special dinner to enjoy in the honeymoon suite. Everything we had was amazing. Thank you so much for making our day so perfect! We can't imagine having gotten married anywhere else.

My Wife and I had the great pleasure of being married at this wonderful venue 1 week ago today!! Urban Field House and the owner Sarah could not have been more helpful in getting us married safely and in style ????. Sarah helped us re-plan our wedding 2 weeks before it occurred when our previous plans fell through and was a ray of light in our wedding planning/re-planning madness. She is a super hero! We had our ceremony outside which was absolutely beautiful in the big field with surrounding trees. There were lots of great places to take pictures on site. Our ceremony was inside, and the first tears of the day were definitely shed when we saw how beautiful the venue looked. Sarah and all the staff affiliated with the venue were very professional and always asking if we needed anything. They found little ways to make us feel the most special and even made sure my mom was taken care of all night as well. We are forever grateful to Sarah, this wonderful venue, and every staff member they work with! Would 100% recommend :D :D

I cannot even begin to express the gratitude that we have for Sarah, Kris, Pebbles, Ryan and all of the staff at Urban Field House. We booked our wedding in March of 2019, and the amount of updates and things that changed between then and our wedding day was absolutely incredible. When Sarah tells you her vision, she follows through with it! The venue, the grounds and incredibly well up-kept and absolutely beautiful. I cannot even express how many compliments we got about the beauty of the venue itself. Kris is not only a fabulous DJ but a wonderful human being who truly cared and worked hard to make our day absolutely perfect. He worked diligently with our other vendors to ensure that everything was running smoothly on the day of, and kept everyone entertained. Pebbles and Ryan were absolutely fantastic. We had a VERY busy bar, and it just kept going all night. It was absolutely perfect ... and the food... oh boy, everyone was ranting and raving about the dinner, especially the chicken and the cauliflower bites (I think that was the first time my husband ate cauliflower in his entire life lol). Absolutely incredible. Myself and the best man had some dietary restrictions so we expected to not get every appetizer, but they just kept bringing us alternatives! The service, and the food and drinks were just perfect and we cannot thank them enough. Sarah, is the hardest working person you'll ever meet. She communicated with us clearly and honestly since day one, and honestly, she became more of a friend to us than anything! The amount of times she'd send us messages just to check in, or the beautiful text I got on the morning of my wedding ... I don't know if she knows this ... but we are definitely friends now! She was BEYOND accommodating with everything and had a solution for every little problem I came up with (there were lots lol). She calmed my nerves and made me feel so at home and I cannot say enough positive things about her. She genuinely cares about you and wants your wedding day to be perfect, and she is SO good at her job. To put this comment into perspective, we booked the venue in March of 2019. Our wedding date was July 17th, 2021. ... ONE WEEK before that, the government decided that they were going to lessen the covid restrictions starting on July 16th, 2021. To say this was an absolute whirlwind of an announcement is an understatement. The SECOND that announcement came out, Sarah texted me and asked how I was doing and what I needed her to do. She was by my side for every single second of my changing of plans, and was absolutely incredible. I cannot recommend Urban Field House enough... I absolutely loved everything and have no regrets. Thank you so much for everything!

I just attended a craft show at the Urban Fieldhouse in Emeryville, ON. The transformation of the property and chirch are beyond belief. Everything is amazingly beautiful! I received a personal mini tour of the building and the new 'honeymoon suite' . Again, I was amazed at how beautiful they've made everything. A definite 'must' for anyone in search of a wedding venue or party rental.

We got married August 28th, 2021 at Urban Fieldhouse. Sarah was extremely kind and helpful the entire time. Planning our wedding through COVID was not always the easiest thing but Sarah was always so helpful and reassuring. The venue is absolutely beautiful inside and out, our choice to get married outside was the best decision I made, it was everything I dreamed of! If you are looking for a venue that has it all, this is definitely it! The Groom's room was the perfect place for the boys to hang out and get ready. The bridal suite was a great place to have a few moments of quiet on a busy hectic day! The staff are on it and ready to help. We had the most perfect day! Highly recommend to any couple!

Ok here we go..... If you are planning on using this venue for your wedding/ occasion, do this... -Video/ record all and every conversation you have with the coordinator/ owner Sarah Ilijanich. To protect yourself and your wallet. Take pics of everything. -If you have an appointment / consultation be prepared to wait. -Call the establishment at least 3 times every month and also follow up with an email to retrace and triple check what was said, done and promised to be sure that everything you’ve been promised and signed via a legal contract to is still very much in place and demand proof. Be careful, you’ll be told your email must have gone to “junk mail”. -If you are sent a picture of your names on a spreadsheet next to your “booked & slotted date” ask for a paper copy. Chances are your date has already been given to someone else, even when she makes you feel secure -nothing is!!! -Ask for your deposit back if you were not granted the services in which you gave a down payment for. WARNING: DO NOT FALL FOR This line... “You will not be getting your deposit back as this is a nonprofit organization.” Thats what she told a City of Windsor employee!! ANYONE WITH A BRAIN KNOWS THAT THE WEDDING INDUSTRY IS EXTREMELY LUCRATIVE AND PROFITABLE!!!! Her theatrical company is for non profit, do not be fooled. A comment as such did merit the call I made to the RCA for further investigation -just to be sure all is LEGIT! Especially since a cottage was purchased during a pandemic???? As well, Reviews exist for a reason. So that people can protect their future investments. So does professionalism, that said Mrs. Ilijanich, If I write a review to Amazon based on disappointment or dissatisfaction Amazon never once texts me or emails me begging me to take down the negative reviews. Your begging my daughter and her friends was very unprofessional and review writers shouldn’t share your last name…just saying... Also, be sure to check, see, touch the items promised to you, and be sure to ask if its a bonus/ freebie or does it have a rental fee, for example, “there are pews outside for the guests to sit on.” On the contrary, the night before an event this past July 2020 the customer learned that those old rotting pews had been thrown out and the coordinator never cared to mention it to the customer. The next day the guests had to set up chairs outside themselves????Good thing I mentioned it!!! I could say much more but I feel strongly that I have made a valid and honest review regarding this venue and the owner. So very disappointed! For those of you who have had a nice experience, I’m happy for you! My daughters wedding was double booked, all the while she was being told everything was good to go. Then, Sarah insisted that the other couple would not change their date. So my daughter lost out! Months later we see her post the June 26th 2021 available date????? The owners of Urban Field House are by far the most caring and generous human beings that I have ever met. It is easy to criticize and in this day and age far too common to default to negativity. In fact, negative criticism shows more about the person criticizing, than it does about the one being criticized. What takes determination is to give gratitude where it is due. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and from all of the hearts of every dancer at TCz's dance studio thank you. Your venue is pristine and beautiful, but more importantly your hearts are golden. I just wanted to say that we have been lucky enough to be a part of several events at The Urban Field House over the past couple of years and it is an absolute hidden gem!! I am always blown away by the warm reception we are given by Sarah and her staff and by how absolutely gorgeous this place is!!! I feel like we need to get married again just so we can do it at the UFH!! Where do I even begin? You’re probably looking at this venue and thinking wow! What a beautiful rustic looking venue. You’re probably also picturing all of the wonderful decor you could use, picturing how much fun the bride room would be, how you would place the tables in this nice spacious venue - so did I, I was supposed to get married on August 2020. Unfortunately with Covid I had to postpone. I tried contacting Sarah, the owner of Urban Field House in May & it took several emails to get in contact with her, in fact my mother had to intervene and try to get in touch with Sarah. Finally Sarah got back to me & we spoke over the phone at the beginning of June 2020. She mentioned several dates that were available, including June 26th 2021. I picked that date and the stress of having to postpone my wedding was over! At the end of August my fiancé noticed that Sarah posted new available dates for the year 2021 & funny enough June 26th 2021 was posted. Worried, I messaged Sarah right away & she confirmed it was just a mistake, she even sent me a picture of her spreadsheet with my name next to the date! phew! That was nerve racking I thought to myself. On September 15th Sarah texted me asking me if there was anything I needed for my upcoming wedding and we chit chatted a bit. Not even 24 hours later she sends me an email explaining to me that she double booked my date and that I couldn’t get married in June 26th anymore. —— it took her over 3 months to tell me that I literally cannot get married there on this date. Could you imagine having a wedding in less than a year, your photographer, your caterer, your decorator are all booked up for the year (don’t forget you made large deposits on these vendors) and you get this news because of how negligent someone was? I don’t recommend this venue, very unorganized and unprofessional. Our big day is once again ruined. If you decide to book your wedding here... All I can say is may the odds be ever in your favour.

The urban field house was great they did an excellent job. The only problem is the catering they had come in for the dinner sucked the steaks were garbage and the chicken was so Tuff the steak had so much fat on it it was gross. They did a great job on the appetiser. I do recommend the urban field house to any one getting married but make sure you get a good catering serve cause the one my daughter had was trouble.

My friend was supposed to get married here this August. She was super excited to have her dream wedding here HOWEVER Sarah double booked her date :) Just a few months before her wedding date, she had to re-plan everything, contact all her vendors and figure everything out because of Sarah's mistake. How stressful and extremely unprofessional.

We got married in September at Urban Field House. We were very impressed with everything Sarah and her team have done to continue to improve the already beautiful venue. We made great use of their recently renovated kitchen, bride and grooms suites and honey moon suite accommodations. We regularly receive compliments on how stunning the venue and how much everyone enjoyed the food. The night of Sarah personally checked in to make we were happy and everything ran smoothly. We can't thank her and her team enough! I have to add... Food provided my Castellanos Catering was amazing. Urban Kris did an incredible job providing the sound for the outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He was on point and organized working with our planner and officiant. We wouldn't have changed a thing!

I can't say how happy I am that we had our wedding at the Urban Field House. We had an intimate wedding at the beginning of August at this venue and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a gorgeous place to get married. Not being from the area, I was worried about planning a wedding remotely but Sarah really helped and was so good to communicate with. We were able to use the bridal suite in the morning and took some amazing photos on the grounds for out first look photos. The ceremony was held outside and everything went so smoothly with the help of Kris and Sarah. The hall is just so beautiful and we had a great dinner. The guests couldn't stop raving about the food (especially the mac and cheese balls and the crème brûlée). From A to Z, everything went perfectly. Everything was so well-organized that it made for a relaxed, not too stressful day for me and my husband. Thank you so much to Sarah, Kris and the whole team at the Urban Field House :-)

We recently had our wedding at the Urban Field House. Our wedding was absolutely amazing. The staff went above and beyond for our day. All rules were followed. I would definitely recommend them. The venue is beautiful. Sarah the owner is a dream to work with. Our wedding photos were stellar due to the beautiful grounds There in house DJ, Kris was the best he made for a great MC and insured that guests knew what was going on and what was happening next. Pebbles the in house bartender treated all guests respectfully and even made us a signature drink which everyone raves about. Bourbon lemonade was extremely tasty. One thing I did love was being able to use a bridal suite for the entire day. If your looking to plan you wedding or any other function for that matter the Urban Field House is the place to be. The newly renovated building is rustic but modern. The show we saw was fantastic as part of a season of shows. Without any raked seating it was hard to see much of the stage with a head blocking your view. Front row seats or slide your chair over to see better

I recently attended a family wedding here. It was gorgeous! The ceremony was outdoors due to covid restrictions, but the property is very scenic, and the staff were really friendly. This was the first covid era wedding I've attended, but everyone was safely distanced, and it didn't feel awkward even though we were all somewhat far apart. This is a beautiful venue and very well run. Thanks for making my brother's wedding so great, despite all the challenges!

Sarah, Ryan, Kris and the entire crew at Urban Field House were a DREAM to work with for our wedding June 4th - covid regulations and lockdowns made planning interesting to say the least, but everyone was so accommodating! Sarah was always available and able to answer all my questions so quickly, she made planning a breeze. Our wedding ended up looking vastly different than originally planned but Sarah made all of my ideas work and it was so perfect! We were able to have a small ceremony with family on the grounds and host a drive by reception for our close friends. Jolie Productions supplied a beautiful arch for us to get married and take photos in front of. We took advantage of the streaming services available through Urban Kris Productions so our friends and family all over could watch our ceremony online; the quality was impeccable and we were able to go back and watch it again! Ryan of Castellano Catering put together fabulous charcuterie boxes for our guests to take home and enjoy, and made us an incredible dinner for two with such a variety of delicious dishes & dessert - everything was so amazing, the risotto & ceviche definitely stood out as some of our favourites! We stayed in the cottage on the grounds on our wedding night and were so comfortable and cozy, so convenient not to drive home after an exhausting day and bonus to have pastries and mimosas for the morning after! I have nothing but great things to say about the team at UFH and would not hesitate to recommend them over and over again.

To say that this was exceptional service doesn’t even do it justice. Sarah has been INCREDIBLE from the beginning of our journey. Planning a wedding in Covid isn’t easy and Sarah answered every question, was kind, calm, organized and absolutely wonderful. Steve was also incredible on our wedding day being so wonderful and helpful with every single step of the way. The service is amazing and I highly recommend getting married here. It was a dream! The catering was beyond our expectations and every single person at the wedding talked about how it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. It's ok sarah. You can keep having your friends and family write 5 star reviews. You know that you ruined my wedding experience and that is all that matters. Hopefully people can read my review and my fiances review and take it all in. It will be completely up to them to book with you or to not book with you. It's very unfortunate that this has allll happened, but I am glad it did. The only reason why I wrote a review like I did.. was so that other brides didn't have to go through this like I did. It truly is a nightmare and I truly hope it doesn't happen to ANYONE at ANY venue. I just didn't appreciate you trying to hide everything. My wife and I had our wedding here and we can confirm the venue, service, and attention to detail is top quality. Sarah, Ryan, Kris, and the decoration team all were fantastic to deal with. The planning of our wedding began at covid’s start so obviously we had to adapt and make changes along the 1 year + of planning. Sarah was very professional, kind, understanding, and always offered great suggestions. We were coming from out of town and were very pleased that Sarah was always available in a timely manner to discuss/review plans (phone call or meetings). The food that was provided by Ryan and his team was also top quality, delicious, and everyone loved it. The options were plenty and Ryan’s years of experience at top restaurants gives one the confidence that a good meal will be provided. We had some food catered to try it and it was a delicious meal. Due to the micro wedding size, we ended up going with several rounds of appetizers throughout the reception and it was great. Kris was a fantastic DJ and confident and seasoned MC. He knew how to manage the group and always had a great relationship with us and the guests. Very professional. We were extremely happy we were able to use our own custom music with a blend of wonderful generic music Kris had. The venue itself was exactly the rustic style we were looking for with lots of room for indoor and outdoor wedding related space. I would recommend this venue and the staff to everyone.
