Brenda is an absolute godsend!! I cannot recommend her enough.
We originally hired Socially Artistic as our wedding florist. I had an idea of what I liked, but no specifics; meanwhile, my mom had very specific requests (we're talking scientific names of flowers) and Brenda knew them all, which would be in season, which would be in the budget, and how to work with both of us.
As planning went on, we hired Brenda as our wedding coordinator to help with all the details the week of the wedding. She was always so easily available, even when we postponed our wedding a year because of the pandemic. Weeks before the wedding, Brenda touched base with us to make sure we were on track and see if we needed help with anything. She is extremely communicative and is so organized. She responded promptly to messages or calls, and lent her expert opinion whenever we asked. She was also able to incorporate some small roses from a rosebush in his grandma's yard that was given to her by her mother into my bouquet and the groom's boutonniere.
Another great thing about working with Brenda was that she is so well known for planning events, almost all of our vendors had worked with her before and also sang her praises. She saved me hours and hours of work with the details, and whenever anything came up, I would send her a quick message and know that it would be taken care of by her. Many people (family members, friends, wedding party) at some point prior or during the wedding said to me "Thank God for Brenda!" and I always agreed.
Brenda not only brings an her amazing skillset to the table, but also her joyful and genuine personality. She was such a pleasure to work with and talk to throughout the entire planning process.
People have been warning me for months not to sweat the details and that there will inevitably be something that goes wrong, but it will be okay no matter what. I was mentally prepared for some things to go wrong, but the only hiccup was that my shuttle driver was late to take me to the church and when I called Brenda, she was already on top of it and had just communicated with the driver and knew his ETA. Other than that, everything went perfectly. Or if it didn't, Brenda had probably already fixed it!
In the end, Brenda was an absolutely essential part of my planning and execution team. She was THE essential piece, actually! Having her kept the wedding party calm and happy, especially me (the bride)!
