My husband and I got married in July 2018 at the Sofitel. When we mentioned that we were looking for a photographer to the even director, she spoke very highly of Kate Fellerath. A few days later, I spoke with Kate on the phone, and although we had never met yet, in those few minutes I felt her warmth, her care for her work and her clients. It felt like I was talking with an old friend, which made me feel quite at ease. Prior to our wedding, Kate was great at preparing us for the shots that we wanted: first look, family pictures, locations for bridal party pics, etc. She brainstormed with us, and it almost felt like she was as excited as we were about our special day. On our wedding day, working with her felt so natural; Kate and her assistant were everywhere, yet never “in the way”. We could tell (and appreciated!) how organized she was because everything went by so quickly, and she orchestrated the shots so seamlessly - especially those post-ceremony family pictures! My husband and I have a big extended family and how she managed to get all those shots in within 30 minutes, is a testament to her level of organization and experience. She’s allowed us to enjoy the last half-hour of the cocktail and mingle with our family and friends for a bit. The day after, as promised, Kate sent us a few edited pictures, and we got all of our pictures less than two weeks later. Looking back at them, we felt the warmth, lightness and the happiness of that day. She was able to capture the silliness that went on in those moments in-between, and the joy in all the moments that we couldn’t take part of as they happened. Overall, my husband and I felt very comfortable working with her, and recommend her for not only her experience, professionalism, and organization, but because she is very personable, and passionate about what she does. From the moment we contacted her and all throughout the process of our wedding, the experience was amazing! Kate, thank you for being a part of our special day!

When they say your wedding is the most beautiful day of your life, they weren’t exaggerating! My husband and I are so grateful to have all the photographs from Kate Fellerath Photography to keep the memories alive, especially during this difficult social distancing period! From the first day I reached out to her, Kate was very professional, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. She scheduled a phone meeting (she was the only one who did out of all the photographers I had contacted), and during this time we were able to discuss what we wanted for our wedding. She immediately made me feel comfortable to work with her. On the day of the wedding, she was SO efficient. She was amazing at directing everyone and telling them where to stand for the best backgrounds and she would even climb up on chairs in order to capture everyone. She really did it all! My family were all from out of town and my Dad was very fussy about getting everyone’s pictures taken. I can recall him pulling Kate everywhere to get pictures of all my relatives (I’m sorry Kate!) and she would just effortlessly float everywhere without being in anybody’s way. A few days after, Kate sent us a couple preview shots and it got us so excited because they were absolutely stunning! We got all our photographs 2 weeks after the wedding and we were totally blown away! She captured every moment so beautifully and elegantly. My favourites were all the candid shots she managed to capture, all the funny moments that had happened throughout the day that my husband and I had missed. It had us both laughing as we went through the album. I am so in love with our wedding photos, and I can’t stress enough how important it is to have a professional photographer that will be there to capture all the important moments as well as the little moments that you will most probably miss because of how busy you will be. Kate did a great job and I am so happy I found her out of all the numerous photographers out there. I highly, highly recommend Kate Fellerath Photography!

Honestly, I can't say enough about working with Kate on my wedding day. When I told her that I was a somewhat of a nontraditional bride and wanted my photographer to capture our personality, she responded with excitement and couldn't wait to listen to my ideas. I wanted to go somewhere for our pictures that has a lot of meaning for my husband and I. We often go to the Jean Talon market on Saturdays and I thought it would be a great place for pictures. She actually took it upon herself to scout out the location a week before our wedding to find some ideal spots for pictures so that she would know exactly where to take us on the big day. It's weird because as the day and night went on I noticed Kate and her partner Lisa less and less but she kept capturing gems all night. She also has an amazing policy about getting your pictures at the end. Two weeks later she came to our apartment to deliver a USD with over 900 perfectly edited pictures on it (no watermark!). I found Kate through Google search and by going through her website I noticed her article: “10 great reasons to have an intimate wedding”! I was in the middle of planning my very intimate wedding and was looking for a photographer. I instantly thought she would be the right fit for ours, as she understood that intimate weddings are just as important as the big extravagant ones.
