Unfortunately I have to agree with the other woman who posted 1 star as a very similar thing has happened to me. I have posted a review on the knot, but will be posting a more lengthly and in depth review on here as well after I seek legal advice. Cate actually made me feel like I was her friend and I trusted her. In my case all I've been left with to date is a refund and her word for the rest of my pictures, but (3+ months after my wedding)75/260 edited photos is all I have and nothing but anxiety, stress, sadness and regret. Oct 28, 2018 edit. Cate is telling me that the delay in receiving my photos is because of an injury that makes it painful to move her arms and fingers. This confuses me to no end because she is still out shooting weddings. My anxiety is at 110%. Oct 31, 2018 edit. After a month of brushing me off and making more excuses, Cate FINALLLLLY decided to tell me that our contract was void. Her ignorance and lack of empathy has made me so sick that I've given up on even trying to communicate with her anymore. Her text messages, Facebook messages and emails were all just lies. After I was refunded all of my money (with her word for still getting all of my pictures!), she led me on, lied to me and tormented me. I'm not one for writing negative reviews, but this entire process has been every brides worst nightmare! Please do extended research before finding your wedding photographer. You get what you pay for! Nov. 13 update: I have finally for my mental health and peace of mind given up on Catherine. What on earth this.. Professional Photographer.. is going to do with my wedding photos is beyond me!!! I've never met such a two sided person in my life. I have a very strained relationship with my mother, but she was able to attend my wedding thank goodness. Now I have no photos of this whatsoever, but I do have memories in my head and in my heart of my mother being there on the best day of my life .These memories are something Cate will NEVER be able to withhold from me. This is my final update as I am moving on with my husband and burying this nightmare once and for all.

Cate is amazing! She shot our wedding in September, and she captured everything beautifully. She was absolutely wonderful to work with (answering my 1000 emails), and made both my husband and I so comfortable in front of the camera. She captured the most candid shots, and just integrated seamlessly into our special day. Plus, she was able to capture our goofy puppy so perfectly. Thanks Cate!!

I had such a great experience with this photograph. I do not understand the previous post. Cate was very professional, on time, and very clear on what the prices / the final product would be and she delivered everything on time. She was never rude to our guest, to my family and she even gave us more time then she was supposed to. Please, do not let one bad review ruined this business girl. She deserves your trust in your photo project. I have made research on the last person and every vender she hires it seams like nothing is right. So sometimes I think people need to look at them self in the mirror and ask who is the problem in those situations. I highly recommend Russel And Raw for a photograph for all kinds of events. I would even say, get in touch with previous customer, they'll tell you them self.

1 star is too generous. Definitely regret trusting her with our big day, empty promises, very petty and FULL of excuses. 7 months later we still didn't get the full number of pictures paid for( (800) got 400 )crappy ones with very unprofessional editing were received after months of darama, and the quality we were promised was never delievered. In addition we got many unprofessional answers from her, her assistant/ boyfriend and friend videographer whilst trying to come to an amicable agreements. All in all very unprofessional. Also beware of fake reviews (not real bride) and staged photoshoots that were not shot the day of the wedding but on two different days! STILL WAITING FOR OUR PICTURES (Shot by her and her ASSISTANT/boyfriend as promised before the wedding so she would get her whole payment the day of the wedding, also a mistake. Always keep her waiting for her money. She travels for months once she is paid in full) AND THIS WOULD BE SOLVED IF SHE IS A TINY BIT PROFESSIONAL AND WOULD STOP BEING PETTY AND SEND US OUR PAID IN FULL PICTURES.

Cate ruined our wedding. She continuously lied to me and my wife about how she managed to lose our wedding photos and the recovery process she was doing to try and recover them. I believe she never tried at all. When we began catching her in lies and calling her out on them she became very petty and angry. Do not trust this woman with your wedding day. She offered to reshoot our wedding. This was an insult to us as you cannot possibly redo a wedding. I regret hiring her because now we only have 75 wedding photos of all the same poses and very poor editing. She did not handle our situation professionally at all.

Don't rely on Cate. My best friend hired her for her wedding, and almost all of the photos were lost - my friend is devastated. Cate did not handled the situation well, and took ages to attempt recovery of the photos. Hire somebody reliable for your special day, not Cate.

Cate came to california to shoot my wedding...my friends and family are STILL ( after 18 months) talking and posting my wedding pictures...they are not only amazing but they are also really authentique of what WE wanted....
