Awesome fun - this place was a blast. Raced for an hour. The track is great, the karts are well powered, the feel of the place is great (especially in the F1 room with all the pictures of the racers on the wall and their lap times). Couple of drawbacks: our day, the timing system was broken so we had missing lap times. The place is a bit grungier than what the pictures look like although to be honest, for a gas-powered go-kart place, it's not bad at all. Do prepared to be sore the next day - went in a large group and all of has had sore backs for a couple of days as the seats are not the most forgiving! All in all, great fun tho

The races and the experience was very nice. The karts were all working and nobody had issues during the races. Some small details, such as the instruction video running on an old CRT TV, hard to understand; and the clearly aging environment is preventing me from giving 5 stars.

Very disappointing! I was really interested in this place as they have an option for a young child to drive with an adult. But they did not have spot for a non-member walk-in and were not interested to accomodate ONE kid for 15 mins! They said track is taken by members and were kinda implying that if you are not a member, too bad we don't have a spot for you. Worst thing is I did not see anywhere on their website or info detail on google page where it suggests we need to book in advance. If they don't take walk-ins they should say so on their info pages. Why waste others time! Very sour experience!!Will never visit again!!!

Came on Canada Day weekend with a few friends. Amazing track, and very friendly and supportive staff. They have a large screen in the track which displays lap times for each player and their positions which is incredible! The karts were very fast and I haven’t had any issues at all. Very positive experience and we’ll definitely be back there again!!

Had a group there for a birthday and we had a great time! Karts go fast and there is adequate safety equipment. I must thank the amazing staff who helped me book this. I had booked a group rate for the event, but the night before we had a crazy snowstorm. Some people bailed on me, the staff was understanding of the situation and I did not have to pay for the people who disnt show up. A big thanks and we will be back!

Great fun for the whole family. They can accommodate younger kids in double karts with an adult or they have Children's karts for kids 8 and over or taller than 50". Very organized and clean with knowledgeable staff. Very highly recommended.

Fun group activity, easy enough to access but parking space is a little limited. Track is cool, helmets are relatively clean, and they have a timing system to run races with your friends. Only downside is that the gokarts all have their own personality. Some have better grip or brakes or steering, etc.. none are bad but some are better.

We've had an excellent time at Kart-O-Mania with a bigger group. The track was well sized, karts in good condition and it was especially great that the track allowed drifting, which made it more secure (no flip over) and more fun. The track managers were polite, helping us and the competition. Will go back for sure.

I spent my bachelor party in Montreal and part of that took place at Kart-O-Mania. There was a total of 12 of us guys. We did the Indy package which was perfect for us. The guys who worked there also gave us some feedback and pointers in between the practice/qualifying session and the race on how to yield quicker lap times. It is surprisingly tiring so you will be sweating and sore by the time you're done. They also provide clean balaclavas that they wash after one use so you don't have to worry about their helmets smelling. They also provide detailed printouts for each driver that includes lap times, avg. lap time, etc. I would definitely recommend this place for larger groups.

The positive: the karts that were provided were very well maintained and the given equipment was adequate. The entire building was clean as well and very well maintained. Now the bad When I entered the first thing I noticed were either a bunch of regulars or employees on their off shift who didn't seem to care about the Covid19 rules or regulations set by the establishment. No masks, social distancing between them and the employees were non existent. Lets call these guys pro-boys. All very young, all of them brought their own helmets and absolutely reckless. Why reckless? While racing, these guys were bumping and hitting other racers, causing the other racers to swerve, hit the walls and plant their cars. All these pro boys cared about was getting to the number one pole position. To them, I ask: why? Who cares? We're a bunch of amateurs, it's not like there's a professional go-kart scene where a pro go-kart scout is on the look out for the next Lewis Hamilton that's in a small go kart track. Wow, you are able to take on two children and run laps on them three, NO FOUR TIMES?! Congratulations, here are the keys to the Ferrari. The establishment claims to be very strict on its rules and regulations for the sake of safety. frankly the employees there didn't seem to care. The five minute video demonstrating how you can be evicted if you don't follow the Kart-O-Mania's rules? Bah! Who cares? I could have been on my phone swiping right on every Tinder cutie I see using that five minutes for real productivity. The key takeaway from Kart of mania is this: Rules? They're for suckers! That is if you're a regular Come in, we have a warm seat just for you by the entrance. Oh you're a regular , have some pent up anger and aspirations beyond the consumer level go-kart scene? Why don't you go ahead you and take it out on the poor saps that want to enjoy themselves with their friends. 2 stars because of the clean go karts. Would have rated 1 star if it weren't for that

Great service, very professional. We had a blast and I'll be coming back for sure! I would only suggest to check some karts so they all feel the same; I raced on 2 different karts and one had clearly worse brakes and tires...it could get a bit annoying if your trying to push hard against your friends...but still, super fun! Keep it up!

The staff and place were great but my Go Kart was in poor condition. The seat would not stay locked in place. I am 5ft5 and they couldn’t provide me with a Go Kart that fits. The seat adjustment would fail while driving and push me backwards so I could no longer reach the pedals. Needless to say that it was both very dangerous and painful. I mentioned the problem to the staff but they did not have another kart for me to use.

Our family loved this place. It was fun, competitive and they even time you and place you (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc) so you just need to focus on your driving. The staff was friendly and explained everything. DEFINITELY will go back next time we visit Montreal!! If you paid for more than one round they have you exit the vehicle after your race, take a break and then go back.

For people going there the first time, it's really hard to notice the yellow warning lights because there arent that many and they arent bright enough. Usually we'd be so concentrated on looking at the road, and only notice when we see the person ahead stops. And then the staffs get annoyed at us for not stopping when the yellow light shines. They really need to put more lights/a warning sound across the space to make it more noticeable

The only reason I'm giving any stars, for at the end of the day, I always enjoy this place every time I go, it's just unbelievable, I really don't know of anywhere else you can find such a thrill. But, this does come with a price, first of all the staff, they do really try hard to keep the place safe, but the way they go about it, just drives you up the wall. They are annoying, and highly unhelpful. But my main concern is, the actual go carts, there was some kids that went with me, and the kid by mistake somehow touched his arm to the motor of the car, which gave him a bad burn. Such a place, I would think, would have the protective gear on the cart, that something like this shouldn't have happened. (The kid's family forsure could've sued the place) This could litterly happen to anyone, as there is no protection on the carts at all. BE SAFE!

I loved racing with my friends. The staff was very friendly and the race track layout changes(I think) from time to time. The race karts were powerful and easy to control. Every piece of our gear was clean as it gets washed every time. We can even see our time on a big scoreboard while racing. Overall, I loved the experience.????????????

A bit expensive, but still fun. The track had nice and difficult curves which were interesting to challenge yourself. One thing I didn't quite like was the air quality on the race track. I went there in winter and the room doesn't get much air from the outside so I felt pretty sick after 2 sessions of 20 minutes. Maybe they should put some heavy-duty fans to blow the crappy stuff the karts produce out. Also the receptionist could be a little friendlier.

I was really excited to race here and ended up quite disappointed, had more fun racing the Initial D game. Brought my GoPro because I had called a day prior to ensure helmet mounts were available, unfortunately the GoPro mounts on all the adult helmets were broken and unusable. Pit staff seemed inconvenienced by our presence, started the timer and sent our competitors onto the track before we were in our karts. My second race I waited in my kart for 5 minutes while 5 others got put in, 4 of them were driving slow and erratically, making bumper cars of the race. No blue flags or warnings for the first 10 minutes, despite being slammed into a wall multiple times trying to make a clean pass. It seems strange that little attention was paid to the racing with 6 people on track. Karts were broken, falling apart, and I had a kart that had the steering column tilted toward the accelerator and the nose cone was jammed on my foot... Potentially very dangerous if I can't take my foot off the gas... Karts were quick and kinda fun, +1 star for that.

The fact that we had to wait quite a while once we'd paid to be called in, then were lumped in with a big group that had young kids & excessively competitive "adults" made the whole experience pretty lame. Also, the dude that works there likes to yell at customers... first and last time going to this place.

The staff was very friendly and took the extra time with the kids to make sure they understood everything there is to know about karting! Their number one concern was always safety! Staff doesn't really pay attention to people racing. Several times during a race my friends and I had to deal with two strangers who were placed in our team and kept trying everything they could to hit us. During instructions we were told whoever did that would be removed immediately, however, they ended not doing anything about the reckless ones.

Also compared to a alot of places the karts are very nice. they are fast and the tires aren't garbage. Very nice to throw a party considering you have a big lounge included in a lot of packages.

First and last time there. We drive 30 min to get there (even when I have action 500 closer). Place is near orange line metro La Savane. I couldn't even ride since like the review before mentioned the place refuse reservation when there's less than 8 ppl (we were 4 adults and 1 kid). Prices are similar to the other karts places. I took the time to ask what time would be best to show up and the man on the phone said the later the best so pass 8.30pm you shouldn't wait long. Once we get there, it was 1h of waiting (the only good thing is that the lady mentioned this before paying AT LEAST). When I ask her how so we had to wait 1h when earlier a man specifically told me it wouldn't be that long, she obviously said there was nothing she could do and there was no guarantee of anything... Extremely DISAPPOINTED and frustrating. Place keeps apologizing without offering any real fix to something that keeps happening... I even wonder how come they still have customers. That's clearly a lack of managing and don't seem to care at all in offering a pleasant experience or good customer service.

Absolutely loved the experience! They have amazing employees that value your safety and well-being. The gokarts are loads faster and are actual gokarts compared to other establishments. They change the track about 1-3 times a year to keep the track fresh and new. Great variety of snacks to munch on while you wait for your next ride. They also offer different times on track which is a great feature! Another feature that is way under rated is the VIP loundge that is fully furnished with a crisp projector. Perfect for when your favorite sports team is playing. I highly recommend Kart-O-Mania to anyone wanting an adrenaline rush!

First time play karting! They gave us some time to try racing without other player. Then everybody joined and very enjoyed. It’s a bit harder to control the steering wheel. After 30 mins I was already feel tired with my shoulder and arms. But I’ll come back one day! A good way to release your stress and pressure. People who work there are also friendly and professional.

Excellent experience and wonderful customer service! From the moment I spoke to Nadia (the owner) to request the (somewhat last minute reservation), to the minute we left the place, we were very well taken care of. It is nice to see that some places are still managed so well by local owners who are present daily at their businesses. This is not a multiple location business run by students working there to earn a part-time income. We got personalized service directly by the owner; a rarity in a growing city like Montreal where franchises and large muti-chains are the norm. The young lady who tended to our party is clearly being groomed by the owner to be a strong business women in her own right! Business women training and inspiring future leaders! The place itself is clean, the carts are maintained (those that are not working well are promptly removed) and the staff knows their equipment well. This can make or break a carting outing. The party room (we were a large group) and the score board kept us hooked onto races of the other groups in our party and added to the hype/experience. My 13 year old daughter discovered she really enjoyed the speed, and those carts are speedy! She’s found a new hobby! Great first time karting experience.

Went to Kart o Mania on a Friday evening, there were alot of people and the receptionist handled the crowd well, polite and organized. Within 30 min we were on the track after receiving very clear and detailed instructions on the do's and donts. The track was very well maintained and the air quality was amazing compared to all the other go kart places i had been to. We took the 15 min option and it was great. The cars at Kart o Mania are very well maintained and go pretty fast compared to other go kart businesses. The cars dont shake, the breaks work, very responsive, well maintained. The Referee on the track was amazing, giving the appropriate flag at the right time, making sure that everyone was safe and having fun at the same time. Im sold, im neever going anywhere else for go karting.

If you’re less than 8 people you can’t reserve, so you just have to show up and hope there is room. Calling ahead of time is unreliable since 8 people can reserve any time on top of walk ins. If you go, have a few hours free in the hopes of driving 10 minutes of fun.

Great track, great karts, cool timing system. But those fumes! the air was just toxic while on the track, many of our group came out with headaches/light headed, we had one puke. We were all adults with kart experience. Need better exhaust fans, that can't be healthy for anyone, especially your employees

Friends invited me to this place. I bought the all you can drive because of my friends’ suggestion. I would say that was an awful experience. The rules of slowing down at yellow lights, I understand and respect it. However, it’s way too often so that one time, there are two yellow lights in a row and I couldn’t notice the second one asap so I got kicked out. And also another time when I was at the turning point, it’s really not that easy to notice the yellow light when I am focusing on controlling the car. Their explanation is simply that there are enough yellow lights for you to see. I paid the all you can drive price which is $85 and I don’t even get a full complete ride. The staff just told me you are done for today. First time going to this place but never again.

The most fun go kart place in Montréal. This is the only place I know where they actually let you race and arent slowing you down all the time or freaking out if you bump someone while overtaking. (You still have to be careful obviously)

Had fun here. Got the $50 for 30 minutes unlimited laps (2 sets of 15 minutes so about 20 laps worth each time). Routes are very technical and the carts go pretty fast. (I had bruises on the left side of my back). Would come.back with a large group if I ever came back to Montreal. The track gets crowded sometimes though.

Suppose to have a race of 5 friends together. Then, the staff add 3 more strangers at the last minute without any notice, and guess what? One of our friends got pushed by one of those strangers in fast speed and she got hit right in the face. Not even a warning was given to those rude people. Staff want to be chilled and they described it as an “accident”. Oh by the way there are NO SEAT BELT with those karts so be ready to get hurt :)

DON'T waste your time there, poor service they don't apply the rules, they don't use the flags when someone's faster than you, they tolerate bumps, worst place ever. Second of all, on our last run we paid for 15 min race and they started counting when we were settling down on the kars. I told them that we ran for 10 min since I use my chronometer for the run, they told us that it was a 15 min... Spend your money on more professional places as ICar Mirabel, K1 or action 500 instead.

Fun place with friendly staff. Aaah the nice smell of fuel and rubber. Arrive a bit early to use their tablets to enter your info/racing name. Adult karts are great, perfect speed/acceleration for the size of the track. Daughter had a good time on her kart as well. And they also have a kart with a side seat for the younger ones. Used that last year and it was nice as well.

Lots of fun for an indoor track, pretty fast gas karts. It's easy to get to on the subway. They also have snacks and drinks for sale and the staff are very friendly.

No complaints, tons of fun for kids and adults alike. Karts are fast and appear to be well maintained. Staff was helpful. Would 5-star if it was a bit cheaper. Still, would recommend.

I was quite unimpressed with the reservation process for groups under 8. I called to check availability at 3 and was told we can come as of 5:30. Showed up at that time after a 30 minute drive to their location only to be told they’re fully booked and that they have no spots despite what I was told just a few hours earlier. I’m putting this review to warn groups under 8 of the potential disappointment and for karto-mania management to figure out a more respectful reservation system. Perhaps consider an online platform that can show people available spots or alternatively allow groups under 8 to reserve especially if your personnel are giving incorrect information on the phone. Following my feedback above, the manager took the time to call me to help rectify my experience by offering us a free race with a reserved slot. I appreciate the offer and we enjoyed the experience and hope that karto-mania management figure out their reservation system in future to make it a pleasant experience for everyone.

Nothing fancy just a nice way to release some steam. Staff is super young friendly and knowledgeable. Karts are fun and fast. The price is the only downside.

Horrible service.they make they’re money by kicking you out after signing there contract. The guy in charge did a horrible job by explaining us the rules.action 500 is much better

Good for the price. Track is a bit too short/small but the it was designed, for the layout I raced on, considerate enough to allow good racing. And it wasn't easy to get a full Qualy lap together nor overtake someone, due to both layout and the concrete surface, but this challenging aspect is fun too.

In comparison to other indoor place, Kart-O-Mania is one of the best place for racing and have a group fun. It is well equipped, helmets are clean and karts are working without any problem. Staff are nice too.

Kart-O-Mania as a lot to offer like: pool table, arcades, air hockey table, and the endearing smell of gasoline. While the high octane aromas will leave you smelling like you just left Elvis Gratton's Garage, the cold temperature inside the venue will make you wish you had Mario Kart on N64. Concerning prices, it comes down to pretty much 2$ a minute (or bit less), which is the industry standard. After experiencing a few other Go- Kart tracks, Kart-O-Mania seems to lack in safety. For starters, their karts have no seat belts, and their track supervisors do not seem to implement any of the safety procedures as described in their instructional pre-race video. When go-karting, a driver's safety may also depend on its fellow drivers - which is important to keep in mind when taking kids here.

Was there for 3 hours, paid $55 for 30 minutes and only got to drive 15 minutes. No refunds they said. I’m calling Visa for a chargeback immediately. Ask the staff what’s going on and they say “if you don’t like it then leave”
