My mom married my stepdad with Marsha as the commissionaire, and mom loved her! Marsha did a tradition called the Fisherman's Knot, that included me into the ceremony, which made it extra special. She met us on a set date, at a location my folks chose the day before the wedding, (because we came from Alberta and they had to find a spot they liked to get married in.) Mom found out Marsha also plays the fiddle and was doing a show that night, so she invited us out to the show, and played a polka just for my parents when we got there. (Marsha knew the polka had sentimental meaning for my mom and stepdad.) She was totally friendly and kind and Mom says she would pick Marsha a hundred times over to do the wedding again! Thanks Marsha...you made everyone so happy!
