Did the clam digging with Jim and it was awesome! Very nice guy and was very pleasant sitting on his porch eating the clams and oysters we collected. Experience PEI made setting this up a very easy process. Definitely recommend this experience.

Great experience with Captain Chancey. Learned a lot about lobstering in PEI and many other island facts. Lobster roll was fabulous.

My friend and I did the Taste the Town tour with Gord today and it was amazing! He told us all about the history of PEI and how it relates to Canada. We went to 5 different food spots! Every place was unique and we got to meet the owners of several places. The seafood was fresh and delicious! It was a super personal and informative tour. Worth the money. Highly recommend it!!

We did the taste the town tour today. Gord was our tour guide and he was awesome. It was so nice to do a small walking tour of Charlottetown and to hear about the history of Charlottetown. Gord was knowledgeable and a great tour guide. We started off our tour trying fresh oysters and were able to hold a live lobster and learn about the lobster industry. Then went to kettle black and had coffee and a protein bite. Both were delicious. Then we had mussels and pei brewing company beer. Gord helped us learn the right way to eat the mussels. Then we went to the chip shack and had the best frys I’ve ever had with an amazing owner that personalized the experience and showed us her secrets. Then we finished off the experience with a fresh lobster roll. The food was all amazing and would definitely recommend to anyone coming to pei.

My 10-year-old and I really enjoyed our "Juniper Joster" woodworking experience: the setting is stunning, the project is simple enough for a novice, and Jim is the ultimate host, jack-of-all-trades and storyteller.

We had the Tong and Shuck with Jim and it was a wonderful and memorable experience. Jim was super nice and kind to share the story of islander and fisherman with lots of humors. He was also very patient and nice to teach us two beginners to shuck the oyster. The oysters were very fresh and delicious and most importantly, the mussel feast was really huge, fresh and delicious in a giant bowls. Highly recommend Jim as the best host and would come again next year if revisit PEI.

Beachcomber's Clam Boil on Points East Coastal Drive, Cardigan, PEI was our favourite adventure on our family trip! And with the great things to do and the awesome people we meet each day in PEI, that's saying alot. Host Jim is the kind of person who instantly makes you feel welcome, and carefully explains (with lots of laughter amongst our group) how to dig for clams and about conservation. Our 5 year old attached himself like a barnacle to Guide Tristan, who was very patient with his high-energy participation. We found many clams and even some oysters in the shallow water and beach and later Jim cooked them to perfection. We even ate oysters we found right on the beach!! It doesn't get any fresher. We had also added on lobster to our Beachcombers Clam Boil tickets, and Jim includes PEI mussles too, so we were really full (and really happy). Extras like homestyle potato salad and butter buns were tasty too. This is an authentic local "farm" to table (river to table) experience, in a natural outdoor environment. It is not a prepackaged high-maintenance haute-cuisine tour. So if real fun with real people is what you are looking for, you will love it. Need some agility to climb down and back up a staircase to/from water. And like the website says, bring watershoes, sunscreen and bug spray. We had a windy day so bugs weren't an issue. Check out the pics of the massive blue fin tuna on the wall in the dining terrace -- Jim has some stories that will blow your mind. Thanks for sharing your home with us Jim!

Did the clam dig and boil with my mom at Jim's place. This experience was unforgettable! I loved combing the beach for the clams and oysters it was so much fun. Jim was so knowledgeable and friendly and really helped us out when we were struggling to find clams with our untrained eyes as it was our first time. The food afterwards was also great! Oysters, mussels, clams! We are so thankful we found this experience on PEI

Three of us did the Taste the Town Tour with Paul and absolutely loved it. Paul went above and beyond at every turn. My father has mobility issues and Paul was extremely helpful, thoughtful and accommodating. When someone in the group wasn't keen on a certain food or beverage he would offer alternatives. He really knows his stuff. We loved the french fries, coffee and curry mussels the most (in that order). I highly recommend this tour.

I've now done two of Experience PEI's offerings - "Fun With Falcons" and "Taste the Town" - very different experiences, but both fabulous, unforgettable afternoons! Today was "Taste the Town", a three-hour-long walking tour full of PEI history and fun facts about the Island and its incredible food. It featured five stops around downtown Charlottetown & waterfront. The guides (Margaret and Shirley) were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and entertaining. They made sure everyone was looked after, pointed out bathrooms everywhere we went, and answered all our crazy questions. We tried Raspberry Point oysters at MacKinnon's Lobster Pound/Seafood Market; coffee roasted on-site & sweet potato brownies at The Kettle Black; local beer & mussels at Gahan House; the best fries on the Island (and maybe in the world, in fact...) at The Chip Shack on the new "floating food court"; and the quintessential lobster roll at Lobster on the Wharf. My friend and I learned a lot, and left with big grins, full tummies, and new friends we met on the tour. I highly recommend the "Taste the Town" tour for both tourists and locals alike!

We had a great time patrolling the waters of all the delicious seafood with Jim and his assistant. Jim was extremely hospitable and I would recommend this to anyone who wants a real PEI experience.

Had an amazing food tour of Charlottetown with Margaret! She was nice, fun, knowledgeable, and helped personalize a lot of the the city's history. I'd totally recommend this!

My husband and I had an amazing time building sand castles with Maurice Bernard of Sensational Sand Castles. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip and will be a lasting memory for years to come. We were able to learn the basics of sand castle building and put them to use right away on a beautiful beach in PEI. We would definitely recommend this experience to others who like to work and create with their hands!

We LOVE the Experience PEI tours. We've been on the Hope River Farm tour (LOVED IT!), the Beachcombers Clam Boil (AMAZING!), and most recently Gen's Ocean Gem's tour (THE KIDS WERE SO EXCITED TO MAKE JEWELLERY!). Spending time on any of their tours is time well spent :)
