I hired Fusion Bollywood for stage decor for my wedding. They did not disappoint. I contacted Jaz and he met me at his studio on a weekend, extremely busy times for him but it was the only time I was available, yet he still made it work. At his studio, I was able to view the centrepieces, the fabrics and he was able to show me pictures from previous backdrops he had done so that I could pinpoint what I was looking for and we could be on the same page. I loved this because I could see everything first hand and get a visual. Jaz then asked me what my vision was and within minutes, he had a backdrop drawn up for me with the colours and themes I wanted. He had so much variety too, I was so impressed. Throughout, he has been easy to communicate with, super kind and reliable. At the venue, when setting up, Jaz showed me the stage and asked for feedback so I could be 100% satisfied. Below is a brief overview that my wife posted to her Facebook wall in regards to the terrible service we received from Fusion Bollywood. We do not suggest using this company at all. However, if you still choose to go ahead witht hem then always ensure you either voice record all conversations or have everything in detailed writing so they cannot come back with loopholes. "Since twitter does not allow long rants, Facebook is my go to social media for my concern. I just had a traumatizing experience with Fusion Bollywood. They were supposed to be our wedding planner for our event yesterday and instead of easing our burdens they caused a ruckus by refusing to unload chairs for our event. This caused my husband, the groomsmen and the grooms family to sweat away unloading chairs mere hours before the start of our wedding. They also indicated that they would charge us $250 to unload chairs but $500 to reload them. Any good business owner would know that price gouging or selective pricing such as this is illegal. In the end not only did my husband have to perform manual labor on his wedding day but when I went to kindly explain my dissatisfaction I was cut off at every sentence. I attempted to provide constructive criticism to better their business model and have a civilized conversation and was indirectly told that my opinion as a customer did not matter. My only purpose for writing this post is to prevent future couples from facing the same issues we had with Fusion Bollywood this weekend. I know all my friends will share this post to get this information to as many people as possible who just want their day to be as special as they are. Unethical companies should not have the ability to run their businesses and ruin people's lives this way. #buyerbeware" In addition to the above blurb, we would like to add that all our conversations with Fusion Bollywood indicated that a FULL set up would occur including taking chairs down from the U-Haul. To top it off, they expected us to stay at the public park that was our venue in order to watch their items because otherwise, if items were stolen or damaged we would be liable. The last thing anyone wants is to have family or friends stay behind at a wedding to watch the wedding planners things so that we can get our $500 deposit back. We thank our stars everyday that we had the family to back us up in a time of crisis, not everyone has that option. This is unacceptable and unethical behavior from a company who calls themselves "wedding planners" and we highly recommend staying away from this business!

Jaz was an incredible decorator to work with. He took into consideration all the visions we had for our reception and truly respected them enough to turn them into reality. He was quite receptive when we did want to deviate from plans and had the hall ready in advance of the event. My primary reason for picking him was because he was a reputable Indian decorator who did not try to upsell me on first visit. My reason to hire him again would be his ingenuity for the project, knowing what would be good additions and what would come off as poor taste. I would highly recommend him.

Only speak to JAZ ... he has so much passion and what he does that when you're sharing your vision of what you want your wedding to be he gets so excited as if it's his own. I love how they didn't push me or rush me or didn't make me feel like it's all about money. all my relatives cousins and family members only deal with him ... don't bother wasting your time or your money or your energy anywhere else.

The mandap was perfect for the ceremony and the rest of the hall looked great! Jas and Fusion Bollywood have a huge and exceptional selection of inventory for Indian weddings in Calgary. We used their services for all of our decor and florals, and were blown away by the results! Some of the highlights of our decor was our beautiful mandap structure and mandap furniture, the fake flowers we used on top of our mandap (super realistic), a huge greenery backdrop we used for our head table, beautiful tall gold harlow centerpieces with florals on top, an amazing pagoda for our mehndi artists, and a super cool tunnel draped entrance with indian umbrellas on the top. With minimal instructions, the florals for our centerpieces turned out beautifully and were very affordable compared to other quotes we received. One thing of note is that while Jas has a huge inventory, his database is unfortunately only on his computer (folder of pictures), which meant we needed to go into his office in person (multiple times) and there were no prices provided per item until we received an invoice. That being said, compared to other prices, his seemed on par or below similar decor rental companies. The setup and teardown of all the decor was seamless and Jas and his team worked well with our venues and their staff. We want to thank Jas for putting all of his efforts into our wedding, especially given the last minute request and the busy wedding season right now. He is talented at what he does - be patient with him and you will not be disappointed.

Being the friend who helps her friends with events such as birthdays and weddings, I am frequently trying to find last minute items. This past August, a dear couple decided at the very last minute to renew their vows. I needed some simple rental pieces (pillars, flower balls). I called Jas (owner) on a Saturday and said I needed the items for an event the very next day (Sunday). Despite the fact that he had 3 other functions that day, and my order was very small, he made time to meet me and get me what I needed. I have used Jas on one other occasion before, and he remains super responsive, very professional, and easy to get along with. If ever I have to leave a voicemail message, he returns my call within the hour. He is a highly dedicated business owner and service provider. While I think rental prices can be a little high on wedding supplies in general (and you may be better off buying than renting, if you have the time), I DO NOT hesitate to give his company 5 stars for the stellar service they provide. We were initially a little nervous, since this is the only company that has mundap set-up for Indian wedding in Calgary. We were pleasantly surprised though! Jazz was able to meet with us, even with our hectic schedule. We discussed everything ahead of time and showed Jazz the photos of the hall and planned the set-up, and forgot to account for the high beams. The day of the wedding the Fusion Bollywood team was amazing and able to think on their feet to accommodate the set-up. The mundap set-up looked beautiful and the back drop was perfect for photos with guests. The staff was efficient with setting-up and tear down and very professional. Worth the price. We also got our DJ thorough them and sent him the list of our music and italicized the important music for us. The DJ didn't have our song and we didn't find out till we were making our entrance. This was a little disappointing, considering the amount that was paid for the DJ and he couldn't just look up the song on iTunes, youtube or any free music app to make this work. Other then that we had an amazing party and were really happy to have the professionals from Fusion Bollywood make our day beautiful.

Over the years, we have used Fusion Bollywood for three diffrent events. After having a horible experience with 2 other decoration company in Calgary, Fusion Bollywood's service seems to be flawless. Jas goes above and beyond to make sure things are done right. Durring our last event, Jas had to be out of the country but checked in with is prior to leaving and made sure we had contact information for his staff. His staff were prompt to contact us durring and also after the event. Although I trusted that Jas would return our deposit once he was back in the country, I did not havebto wait as his staff contacted me with in 2 days of our event. Every event, Jas has made suggestions to reduce our costs even though he would make more off of us. Jas is super easy to work with and super easy to get a hold of. Jas has always been our main contact, we have only spoken Raman a few times and there was no diffrence in the quality of customer service. Jas and his team are absolutely fantastic. They made the full process of wedding decor from start to finish flawless. Firstly Jas met with me to chat about our wedding preferences for the events (3 days worth). Jas and I went through our décor preferences day by day for each event. He gave incredible suggestions as to what would look good based on our style and did not just suggest things for the heck of it. Secondly Jas made everything easy! I needed a tent last minute- he found a way to get it, set it up and have it ready to go within 48 hours. I needed last minute seat covers he managed the perfect ones right away no questions asked. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Fusion Bollywood. I trust them, they are professional, on time, honest and give you extremely good value for the money you pay. Thanks Fusion Bollywood! Bollywood Fusion did a great job decorating the venue for the sangeet function. It was colorful and beautiful. They took special attention in selecting the right colors for the stage backdrop so it was not clashing with the bridal sangeet dress. They were punctual and very reliable. Need no supervision. The DJ (Sandy) they provided was excellent and professional with great selection of songs. All the whole they provided a good value for the package. It was one stop shop experience with Bollywood Fusion. I highly recommend theor service.

Fusion Bollywood did our decorations for our ceremony day 2 weeks ago. Even tho he didn't have much time as our guests started to arrive and we couldn't get the place to open any earlier he managed to remain calm professional and very polite. I was very satisfied with the decorations except for one small thing which was the silk floral that we had on our main table was very dusty. Overall though we were very happy.

I wanted my engagement party decoration to be unique because as a Persian, I wanted the theme to be classic and modern. A mix of two is very hard to fuse together but Fusion Bollywood did an outstanding job setting up the décor and received so many complements on the unique décor at the entrance, stage, and tables for the guests. My Fiancée was surprised when she saw the décor. Jazz from Fusion Bollywood showed us many sample pictures from the Instagram, google images and invited us to come to his office and provided great advice on what would or would not work. I have had a few last-minute changes and Jazz and his team had no problem changing it without any questions. Considering the engagement party was in a short notice because of the new COVID-19 mask rule, Fusion Bollywood did a fantastic job in a such a short time and they delivered above and beyond. To anyone planning any sort of an event please reach out to these guys. You will be surprised. I am looking forward to inviting these guys for the decoration for my wedding.

While this company is clearly capable of creating amazing looks, their customer service is extremely lacking and they are clearly booking far more events then they can handle so brides and event planners beware, if your event is not the most lucrative of the day for them, you are likely to be disappointed. While the backdrop was what we had asked for, we were not provided with what we ordered for our remaining decor, what did come was not set up properly (it nearly fell over DURING the event), and because we had to prepay we were unable to get them to provide any compensation for the terrible job after the fact ... I know there aren't many choices for indian decor in Calgary but I recommend looking elsewhere or negotiating to pay after the event to maximize the chances they handle your event professionally.

My sister recently got married back in August 2016 so we hired bollywood fushion. Jazz arranged numerous meetings with my sisters and I and made sure that every meeting provided and lived up to our expectations. He not only took extra time to explain every detail but gave us options to make this wedding amazing. We hired bollywood fushion for 2 days and both days we were left in awe because of the set up, and the way they portrayed all of our wishes and desires in two days without any complications. Every guest that came asked us about the decorations and we happily informed them of bollywood fushion. These guys are the best not only for decorations but for the outstanding customer service and the DJ services. I recommend bollywood fushion for every individual in Calgary that wants all of their expectations and wishes for their wedding day to come true. I have worked with Jaz on countless events over the past couple years and he never seizes to go above and beyond every expectation i have. I cannot tell you how many times I change my design but yet he was still so accommodating and patient. The last event we worked on together was my mom’s surprise birthday party and since I live in Vancouver we had to do most of the designing over the phone. I would send him pictures or ideas of what I wanted and he was give me feedback on whatever and make it happen. He is truly someone that you want to be part of your event.
