We were referred to Kitty and the We Do team by our wedding planner Hasti from the LaVista team, which is a strong recommendation in itself. We were struggling to find motivation to re-plan our wedding because we didn't know how to re-imagine or navigate re-planning. Then we talked to WeDo. We signed up for their pop-up wedding at Cecil Green, and worked with Kitty to build a package and event outline that allowed us to have our Chinese tea ceremony at Cecil Green to maximize our photography and videography time. Even as more COVID-restrictions were announced, Kitty and the team (and our planner and officiant) kept us updated, managed our expectations, and worked hard to make our requests happened. After feeling like we had to give up our original wedding vision, it felt like really nice to have their team in our corner and know they were working hard so we wouldn't have to give up anything more. Our actual wedding day exceeded every expectation I had, and as well as expectations I didn't even think to have. Our families had a great time, were so impressed by the design and flow of the event, and loved the gifts from WeDo. I would not have dreamed up the decor or thought to ask for the decor they had, and it goes to show this why you hire professionals

WeDo Wedding Event Planning is absolutely brilliant and hassles free! I was astounded the first time when my girlfriend and I walked into their Richmond office, and the setup of the space was beyond our vision for it. They handled everything thrown their way with a smile and the utmost professionalism Jessie was extremely helpful during the planning phase and took time to get to know us and what our wants were for the event. We are truly so grateful for Wendy for her dedication and time and effort spent on planning our big day. We still remember feeling terrible during our meetings that would go longer than expected (because we always had so many questions to ask) and having trouble aligning our busy schedules and Wendy would offer to come in on a day off or long weekend just to go over design proposals and day of schedules. Her experience and advice and professional opinions helped us make the best choice ! Hannah, Wendy and the rest of the WeDo team are the wedding Dream Team. We used them for our wedding in September 2021 and could not have been happier. They are professional, responsive, attentive to detail, and a fun team to work with. Our wedding would not have gone as smoothly as it did without Hannah. She handled 100% of the communication and logistics with every vendor, created our timelines and schedules, and made herself available (even at midnight) whenever we had any concerns. She even helped us find rentals when one of our vendors cancelled last minute. Whenever there were decisions that needed to be made, she listened to what we wanted. On the day of our wedding, Hannah and Wendy made themselves available to us the whole day. We also had a unique venue that required a flip, to which their team did an amazing job with in the tight timeline. With them handling everything, we were able to truly enjoy our wedding and spend time with family and friends.

Definitely a five star wedding planning company in Vancouver. Best of best in town. We had a meeting with Kitty Tsai three months before our destination wedding in LA. My husband and I decided to hire her in two days after we met. This is by far the best decision we made in our life. Everybody said planning wedding is a nightmare and so frustrating. However, this was never a problem since we hired Kitty from Wedo. She planned everything for us from choosing venue, contacting vendors to selecting dinner menu and picking my wedding dress. I just trust them on everything. I am a huge Pokémon fan and they made a pokeball as my guest book within two weeks. They never stop surprising me for every little things. I skewed up so many times but Kitty helped me to fix them all. Her professionalism and attention to details and problem solving skill are fantastic. They worked late on the night before my wedding to make sure every guess’s name card looks perfect. The preparation time for my wedding was less than three months. But with the help of Kitty and wedo, I had my dream come true! Thank you Kitty, Wendy and all the people from back stage. It seemed like it was impossible to plan a wedding this year but Kitty and the team made it happen! From the initial consultation to the wedding day, Kitty has been extremely professional and knowledgeable every step of the way. Even when we had a sudden change in venue due to unforeseen circumstances, Kitty was quick to secure another location which turned out to be even more amazing. We opted for the 'intimate wedding' package which was perfect for times like this. Kitty ensured that we were always kept in the loop and effectively handled all the communication with the venue. For the customized wedding package, she went through all the details and even recommended some things (such as having a harpist) that made the day even more exceptional. On the day of the wedding, we were astonished by how beautiful the place was transformed, including the floral decorations. All in all, our wedding was absolutely perfect and we could not have asked for a better wedding planner. It has been a crazy year for wedding planning BUT regardless of the current situation, WeDo wedding was able to pull it off nicely! Throughout the past year, it has been super stressful for both of us with the constant postponement, venue, and budget planning. Let me tell you about our hero Wendy. Not only is she Senior Planner of WeDo Weddings Etc., she’s like a wizard when it comes to solving the craziest challenges we faced due to COVID-19. The biggest things being a venue change with less than 3 weeks to go and a show-stopping issue with the officiant just 2 days before the big day. Wendy managed to seamlessly solve all these issues (pretty much behind the scenes with little impact to us) and our day ended up being absolutely perfect despite all the speed bumps we hit. If you are looking for the best wedding planner in the city, just stop, you’ve found her. From the day we met via virtual consult, I knew she was the one I’d choose to be my planner. I’ve always wanted to plan my own wedding but now that I have two young children, I knew that this would be impossible. Whether or not you have children or not, I highly recommend hiring a professional wedding planner. Planning a wedding is incredibly stressful and you might encounter problems you don’t know how to handle or might not be in the right place emotionally to handle. When I found out my dream venue was shut down, I cried for two days straight, I know for sure if I was planning the wedding by myself I wouldn’t have been able to find a new venue on my own much less make it even better than the original plan! Wendy was always there filling in every detail and supporting us. Wendy and her tremendous team made our dream wedding come true. Wendy and her team take instruction very well and every little thing I asked for, was made to happen. Honestly, we hit so many snags before the wedding, that I had prepared myself for things to go wrong on the big day, I was so pleasantly surprised that EVERYTHING was perfect, down to the placement of drink menus and place cards ???? (some may say I’m a very particular bridezilla.) I could go on and on about the excellent service I received from WeDo but I think you got the gist of it. They literally have all 5 star reviews, if a perfect wedding is what you’re looking for, like I was, send them a message! My husband and I are known as the “Royals” in our community and many of our friends call us King and Queen. We don’t bow down to anyone but after our wedding was executed at the highest levels and beyond our highest expectations, we had to bow down to Wendy! ????????

I would be very careful in approaching this company. In fact I’ll stay away. I was planning to keep my mouth shut but I don’t think people should be falling into their trap. Business practice is unethetical. Planners are rude and cut corners. Worst vendor ive seen from any vendors I’ve met from weddings. I’m unsure if it’s common in the wedding industry for planners to be such unreasonable and rude. I’m a very calm person but that has triggered me to write this review. I’m not a customer but my friend who hired them has been happy up to the point of the day of the event.

With less than 2 months to go to our wedding date and us sweating due to our lack of preparation, WeDo came to the rescue! We sourced rockstar planner Kitty to help plan and execute our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the results!! Kitty was very professional and she's incredibly connected in the wedding scene in Vancouver. She developed the wedding agenda and coordinated with all vendors and venues, which gave us some breathing room to focus on getting other aspects of the wedding ready, because we knew we could trust her with all the planning and coordinating. On the big day itself, Kitty coordinated and choreographed the whole event and made all vendors invisible to us, which was all we could ask for. All in all, I'd highly recommend Kitty and WeDo in a heartbeat for their dedication, professionalism and creativity!!
