I had a pleasant experience shopping at Vimo. My dress consultant was Kinki - she was very friendly and easy to work with. There was a decent selection of wedding dresses and I was able to find and try on the dresses I saw online. In December they were also having a moving sale (recently relocated from their Kingsway store), so a number of dresses were 20%+ off. I did not feel pressured to buy, which I greatly appreciate. Kinki also followed up with me by email after the appointment to see if I had any questions. I ended up buying my wedding dress from somewhere else, but I am glad I stopped by!

One of my bridesmaids recommended Vimo to me and I am glad to say, I found my dream wedding dress here! The dress arrived in 6 months (just picked it up last week) which was great because my wedding is in August. My reason for not giving all 5 stars is because I was not impressed with the tailor who was to alter my dress. She told me that the major area I needed help with was impossible to fix and I was left with no solution but to go and find an alteration service on my own. I have indeed found a seamstress who is more than able to help me look beautiful on my wedding day.

I did have some missing sequence pieces from my dress but the moment they heard that they fixed it for free. Our purchasing experience at Vimo was wonderful! We were greeted at the door and my daughter was supported a nice amount (not too much, not too little) throughout her search for a grad dress. The selection is very large! She found one she really liked, but it had a couple of things that needed adjusting. The salesperson brought the tailor over to talk through alterations, and they were also very helpful! They took measurements, and my daughter is excited to try on the final product in about a month. I went here to look for a prom dress on November 9, 2018. The service was good, they helped me put on my dress, gave me other options. I had found a dress and already knew about what I wanted to change and asked about alterations. She kept telling me it could be done which gave me the impression that it would be included, as per most other wedding dress stores. As my sister was paying with her credit card, it showed up to give tip and she didn't realize that a store would ask for a tip like that and accidentally tipped a very hefty amount. I was told that my dress would come in March which was told after paying and I was very surprised that it would take over 5 months to get here but it was paid for so I couldn't do much. After anticipatedly waiting for my dress, it turned into the end of March and I still hadn't gotten a call or email from them about my dress being here. Then a few days ago, I grew tired of waiting and decided to call myself. It was a very brief phone call, I asked about my dress and the woman on the phone quickly said she tried calling and that it was here then proceeded to say her byes and hung up. On Monday, March 25 I went in to pick the dress up. I told her my name, then she went into a bin I believe and dragged my dress out, with no protection whatsoever. Then I was told that alterations needed to be done at another store and I was a little flustered but okay. The woman then took my dress to put in a bag because I was ready to go. She started to fold the dress and I was getting a little confused expecting it to go on a hanger and then in a dress bag. She then kept folding and folding and tried stuffing it into this shopping bag but it wasn't fitting because well its an a-line prom dress. Her co-worker then need to help flatten the dress so it could fit into a small bag, like my dress was a sleeping bag or something. This is really not what I was expecting from a fairly large, wedding dress store. I had paid almost $300 for this dress and here it was getting wrinkled and folded up in this bag the size of a backpack. I have included a photo comparing my dress to the bag I had gotten it in.

They were both so helpful and offered suggestions on different styles and veils that I might like, all the while being mindful of sticking to my budget. BUT, now, I wanna say I basically enjoyed everything with Vimo - the dress, makeup, and hair. They are really customer-oriented. Fiona is great. She knows about all the dresses and gave me exactly what I want. The makeup stylist I didn't know her name, but very patient and nice! My wedding went quite well. I looked at all the great reviews and was pretty excited to visit Vimo. However I personally had a pretty bad experience. I showed up at my appointment time, but there was noone to let me in until 25 minutes past. The policy which I received when I booked the appointment states that if I'm more than 20 minutes late, I get charged a fee, so... The dress selection was also pretty limited. All in all, waste of my time

The COVID procedures were good too, I was handed clips and clipped them on dresses I wanted to try on, and Renee would grab them and put them on the rack. I loved the selection of wedding dresses, there was a range from more traditional to modern styles and glad I found something within my budget!

I visited a handful of other wedding dress shops in addition to sample sales before I happened to come across Vimo Wedding. To my surprise, they had one of the largest selections of wedding dresses. Styles to suit every bride! Lily was the staff member present that day and she was very patient with me browsing through all of their racks of beautiful dresses. I ended up trying between 5-10 dresses on that first visit, but Lily suggested I come back again in a month or so after a new shipment of Pronovias dresses would arrive. I did however fall in love with a dress during that first visit. I returned to Vimo for a second visit and after trying on a few new dresses in stock, confirmed that I was still in love with that first dress. Lily took my measurements to match up to the designer's (Martin Thornburg) size chart and we put the order in! Overall I had a great experience with Vimo Wedding from the first time I stepped into the store over half a year ago, to this past week when I picked up my wedding dress! The staff are super friendly. very patient, and responsive via email as well. The dress pricings are comparable to many other stores I looked at, and I loved that they had so many options for me to try in order to find THAT dress. I would recommend Vimo for anyone shopping for a wedding dress, or other formal dresses. Thanks Vimo for the dress of my dreams!

Had a great time trying on dresses! Environment was clean and well decorated, fancy looking but also welcoming. Brooklyn was very enthusiastic and bubbly, thoughtful about the types of dresses I might like and was not pushy about making a decision. The only thing lacking was having more dress styles in larger sizes, but even then I still found an option that I liked.

Wedding dress: I got my dress from VIMO wedding. The staff were very helpful and patient. It took me 2 visits before deciding. The first try on took about 2 hours, the staff were helpful and thoughtful. They gave me enough time to consider each dress, and not at all impatient when I re-try some of the dresses. The whole experience was very comfortable for me because i did not feel forced into a sell. Hair and make up: Fiona was my stylist who provided a try on of the hair and make up 3 weeks before the wedding, and provided entire day service on my wedding day. As all wedding goes, there are some hiccups which cut down on the time I originally gave her to change my hair and make up. I was surprised she was calm and assuring when finding out the time restraint, and styled me in a way that fits my dress perfectly. Her presence definitely made my special day more enjoyable.

I'm giving this review on the basis of my visit a few days ago, where, in fact I did not have any appointment. Granted I didn't have an appointment but the mere fact that I was blatantly denied to even look at a single dress from a distance without an appointment made me feel embarrassed for even showing up to your showroom. Especially after travelling for an hour just to visit your store. I wasn't aware that I needed an appointment to even have a look. Suppose I didn't like any dress at your showroom after taking a day off and making an appointment with you? What's wrong with me just visually assessing if your store would meet my requirements or not with the stock that you hold? The girl that assisted me, was pleasant. But the whole concept of not allowing a new customer to even have a peek at what you have in store is rather appalling. So yeah. This surely isn't a "fake review".

The makeup artist came early and set up on time as well. She listened to my requests and recreated them very well. They have a broad price range from cheaper dresses to designer brand names, and I was able to find a high-neck + fine lace dress that I couldn’t find elsewhere. Lily was super friendly and let us take our time and choose the style we preferred. When our dress arrived, it was cutting close to our wedding day because of the pandemic. But Fiona handled the alteration quickly (only needed to hem it) and specifically came in early a couple of days for measurements as she was fully booked. It was really nice that she had our wedding date in mind. Also when we had concerns about not doing any alterations, she was very patient and demonstrated how it would look off with more alterations. We didn’t end up renting any decorations/props from them but we saw that they have a beautiful range of wedding arches and floral arrangements too. Overall very positive experience, would highly recommend.

When they asked my size (size 8 - 10), they told me that most of their dresses were smaller sizes and they told me not to even come to the store. That was rude and what a way to deflate someone's experience for their special day. They need help with customer service and tact. Not every bride is a size small! This was very upsetting. I would not patronize this store at all.

Unfortunately this wedding dress experience was a big disappointment and waste of time. The staff I interacted with were friendly but the professionalism was lacking at this store. Many of the dresses were extremely wrinkled, some yellowed, and sample sizes did not seem very inclusive (I tried a number of size 2 dresses). After reluctantly trying on a number of dresses and narrowing down the options to two dresses, the consultant told me at the end of my appointment that the two dresses were discontinued and not available to order. I would not have bothered trying them had the consultant warned me of this. I initially made this appointment because I found a number of dresses on the store website that I was excited to try on. Out of the 20 dresses I had saved, they had NONE of them to try on. This experience was a huge contrast to the others I have had that were wonderful and productive. I would not recommend this store to friends and fellow brides.

Lily is outstanding! I first visited the store in March and rented the first dress that I could fit into. I lost weight and went back at the beginning of May in hopes of finding a more flattering dress. Lily helped me out with this and was so patient in finding the perfect dress for me (and she did!) which was a pleasant surprise especially since I had already paid the rental fee for the original dress.

I found Vimo on google. I decided to have the trial with Vimo after I browse almost 20 makeup artists’ photos. I had nice trial experience with Amy. I told her I want natural makeup but must pop up my eyes. I want my hair updo on morning but hair half up half down on night time. She was so amazing to satisfy all my requirements. My makeup was flawless, and eyes looked so beautiful. She did half up half down hairstyle as base, and pin up all hair to updo style. So I can take off bobbi pin to have half up and half down at night time. My mom and bridesmaids decided to book the makeup and hair with Vimo when they saw my makeup and hair. Amy and her other 3 members did 7 people’s makeup and hair on wedding day. They were prompt and professional, worked magic on everyone’s makeup and hair. I would recommend them to anyone. The styles are very old fashioned, and the styles are limited - almost all ballgowns. While I think the consultant was warm, being told "if you lose weight you can fit this" is not something you necessarily want to hear when trying on wedding dresses. I am a normal athletic sized Caucasian female. My mom was very upset hearing that.

I would actually like to thank the salesperson at Vimo for making my daughter and I feel so un- welcomed in there store. I went directly to Lisa’s Bridal and had the best experience shopping for her grad dress. I read all the reviews for this store before going and any negative reviews they say are fake reviews and they have no records of the customer. They did not ask our name and didn’t even want to let us in to look at there dresses so obviously they would have no record of us. I have never left a review before but this was a very special day for my daughter almost ruined by Vimo. Thank you to Lisa’s bridal for saving the day

My makeup artist was Leslie from Vimo. She is very attentive. She would ask you what your style is and what you are looking for so she can advice accordingly. The Hair Make-up was flawless. She made it look very natural just like how I wanted it. It lasted me for the entire evening. I was very happy with how everything turn out. Highly recommend!

I arrived at 4pm for my appointment but was told I had booked for 5pm. They were somehow able to accommodate me and were helpful in helping me try on dresses. Big showroom with a good sized selection of wedding dresses and a ton of other evening gowns. The person who helped me was very nice and friendly. However, after I got home I checked the booking confirmation and I had indeed booked for 4pm. Somehow there must have been a mix up but they still worked with me when I had arrived. Overall good experience and fair prices.

Vimo Wedding has such fabulous and attentive customer service. There is a large showroom with dresses in all styles and colours. Even if you have your mind fixed on a certain style, I highly recommend that you try on other ones here! The girls here are very nice and so willing to help that this has made my bridal dress shopping the best experience so far! Brooklyn was so helpful and accomodating with my try-on that it made me feel comfortable; I had so much fun with her! She ensured to zip and button me up and offered excellent advice when I needed it. She's not pushy at all and is such a genuine bubbly person. I even met Renee, who is someone everyone on Google reviews recommends! I can definitely see why Vimo's customers love her. She works hard and is so caring of whether you are happy. Their COVID protocols also made me feel safe. Even though I wish I could've brought just 1 more person, I understood why they have a 1 guest per bride policy. Their huge showroom also made me feel quite safe since there is definitely plenty of space to properly distance from other shoppers. I'd highly recommend people to check out Vimo if they're looking for bridal dresses or prom/evening gowns.
