Liting and Swan were a pleasure to work with; the first meeting was very pleasant and they answered all of our questions. He talked to the MC while setting up before the event to co-ordinate when to turn music down for speeches, when we would be playing a video, etc. My only regret is that the night couldn't last longer. The Photo Booth was also beautiful and well-received by our guests! Paradise Events helped us create our dream wedding, and we highly recommend them to any couple wishing to have peace of mind on their big day!

I booked Liting for my wedding this August. We used her services for the DJ, dancefloor, table linens, flowers, photography, and setup. When we met her I was very impressed as she was very thorough with her questions and understood what we wanted for our wedding. She was very understanding when we added some last minute things (like setting up our centerpieces or incorporating items I had made into the wedding flowers) and was amazingly quick to answer all of our emails (regardless of what time we sent them). Her team is absolutely amazing, I honestly was super impressed by the photographers, they were constantly on the go making sure that they were about to get the shots. An engagement photoshoot was included in our photography package and the pictures were amazing, there were some standard poses and then the photographer encouraged my husband and I to be ourselves which resulted in amazing photos, I'm really looking forward to getting our wedding photos. Honestly, having Liting working with us on our wedding made us a lot less stressed than if we were trying to tackle this on our own. Thank you so much for helping make our wedding amazing!.

We got in touch with Paradise Events prior to the start of the pandemic to plan the decorations and floral arrangements for our wedding. As the pandemic began and continued to escalate, Liting maintained communications with us and were very flexible in making sure that our event would be just as we originally imagined -- fitting the latest restrictions that would be in place. Our event ended up having few restrictions and Liting and her team were able to deliver on our original plan + give us options for enhancements and partnering vendors. I loved working with Liting and her team. They completely surpassed my expectations of what decor would do. The transformed our venue into something far beyond my wildest dreams. The vinyl flooring was phenomenal and made such an impact in the complete look of the room. They completed the look of the room with lines, lights, beautiful diapering and amazing chandeliers. It was a fairytale come true! Also, Liting was always very quick to respond, and even came to the site and met with me numerous times. Our initial wedding venue cancelled on us which led to sooooo many changes (sadly affecting decor mostly), but Liting stood by us and helped us through every step of what was a very stressful issue. I am at a struggle on how to write this review, because there are not enough good adjectives to describe how amazing Paradise Events is! I choice this décor company after I saw them work their magic at a friend’s wedding. I did some additional research and their prices are better than the competition, and the quality of materials they use is superb! Especially when it comes to draping – there is a fine line between your draping looking stunning and magical, and it looking like curtains – and trust me I have gone to wedding where the room draping or head table draping looked like curtains and you don’t want that. I did full room draping, elaborate sweetheart table backdrop, lighting, custom dance floor logo, chair rentals, candelabra rental, tablecloths, charger plates, cloth napkins, etc. (Cost: $10,000 which was less than other quotes I got) – and everything looked like it had just been purchased for me! In fact, my florist commented on how sturdy and high quality the candelabra’s were. Liting herself is also the sweetest person you will meet! I must have called her 100 times, and every time it felt like she was happy to hear form me. You need that calm and lovely personality in the stressful days leading up to the wedding. I recommend Paradise Events to all! In fact, I have already referred my fiend and my cousin – that’s how amazing this company is! In conclusion, here is what you need to know: Paradise events is super luxurious, with out the insane price tag that comes with these big named décor companies. They have amazing service, provide high quality rentals, pay so much attention to detail, extremely talented and can either create a vision for you, or make your vision become reality! We (Newton Business Improvement Association) worked with Swan and Paradise Events for our Halloween community event "Spooktacular Newton". Swan was really great with working within a short time period and ensuring all our needs were meant. The event took place at the Save On Foods underground parking lot in Newton (Surrey BC) and they helped us make it look spooky and took the parking lot feel away. We hired Paradise Events for our wedding. We had draping, uplighting, photobooth, chair covers, dance floor, DJ and all together decorating done from them. Because we had our wedding at a Chinese restaurant, they had a really small window (2 hrs) to set everything up before reception started. They got everything done on time. After meeting with so many décor specialists and florists; I’m glad to say that I was so happy to have had the run in with Liting during a meeting with my planner. The number of positive reviews about Paradise Events was reassuring but I think from the moment I started inquiring about her services, I was already set – her expertise in this industry was solid. Liting was incredibly helpful and we are over the moon at how she executed our florals (we only had a vague idea of a theme but she really took it and ran with it); I think the best part is that, Liting helps you to envision and then pinpoint what it is that you want without feeling overwhelmed. It’s been over a month but I’m not willing to part ways with my beautiful dried up bouquet! I would totally recommend Paradise Events! We used them for our wedding (DJ and photobooth) and they were a hit! They kept the party going - playing a good mix of 90s and oldies as requested. I would recommend Paradise Events to anyone who is looking for a wedding flower and decor company. Before I found PE, I went to a few other places for quotes but they asked me what I wanted down to the diameter of the flower arrangements for each table. It was my first wedding (and hopefully the last) and I had no clue what any of this meant. When I contacted Liting at Paradise Events, she answered her phone right away. After I told her how I envisioned my wedding (the theme etc), that afternoon she sent me a quote listing ALL the items that I would need. Outstanding experience with Paradise Events! They were very approachable, understanding of our needs and helpful brainstorming the best option for our venue. Our wedding was at the Westin Bayshore (Vancouver). We needed up lights for pipe and drape, spot lights for the band and additional lighting for the dance floor. If there was a - star I would have selected that. Probably the funniest and most unprofessional conversation I had wedding planning thus far. I called in inquiring for availability for a date and was told “ we probably don’t have any DJs that day” and to call them back “if I am very stuck” with finding someone. Whoever is on the receiving of first inquiries needs to be replaced to maintain your high star ratings. Maybe it was a bad day but any DJs on this list “if available” should reconsider.

She always had really good recommendations for decor because she has so much experience. Our wedding was at Swaneset and she knew the venue inside and out. I originally had a different photographer but they cancelled 2 months before the wedding. At that point, Liting was a huge help and added photography to the contract. After we did our engagement photoshoot I realized everything worked out for the better because Alvin from Paradise Events is absolutely amazing! I am very awkward with posing for photos but Alvin told us exactly what to do and the photos turned out really good!!!!! The flowers were SO beautiful and reasonably priced. It was the best day ever and Paradise Events had a huge part in it! I cannot thank Liting and Alvin enough. I would recommend them to anyone!

We had Paradise Events host a photo booth at our corporate holiday event (2013) and they did a great job! Right from the moment I began dealing with them they remained professional and on top of everything citing details that may have otherwise been forgotten. Due to short notice they made many accommodations to ensure our booking went as smoothly as possible. On the day of the event, they set up in the timeframe they quoted us and were ready to go once guests arrived. Throughout the day they remained professional and brought a great energy that encouraged people to have fun with the photo booth. Our guests enjoyed being able to take away a souvenir that had our company logo and event name right on the banner. On top of that they give you a cd with all the pictures which is great for anyone who may want duplicates! I would highly recommend them for their services and will be working with them again in the future.

Your DJ crew was so helpful! They arrived early and left late. The set up was great because they used their own lightings, which gave us the ‘night club’ feeling here at home. She works well with last minute changes too example i had 2 extra flower girls within 24 hours and we needed 2 more flower bouquet and next thing she made it happen!! She is superior organized so she would run down a list with you before she goes on planning with you. As I have said her planning is exceptional and reasonable with messaging of many ideas when she has it! I can't say more except her smile each time I see her gives me the trust that it would be wonderful! We also have her assistant Tiffany to be our SDC. She was awesome too, willing to listen to my concerns and last thing she was there to hold your hand and wipe your tears to let you know "everything will be ok today and remember to smile because your a beautiful bride today". Lastly, I am glad we used Paradise Events for their planning of my wedding which included decor, uplighting, chair covers, floral, DJ, my awesome centre pieces for the theme and day of coordination.
