Best place for floral needs

Working with Kathleen can be frustrating. She doesn't always respond to emails, you really need to poke & prod her to get a reply. I made 2 orders a week apart, the first was a small order of 3 boutonnieres and 3 corsages, the second for my wedding - bouquets, bouts, arch & vase rentals, centerpieces, etc. I emailed her many times to confirm both orders, and she promised they would be ready. When I went to her office to pick up my first order, they weren't done, so I had to wait for her to scramble & put my corsages and bouts together. Since I was there, I asked to speak with her about my wedding order, instead she complained to me for almost 30 mins about how busy she is, and started bad-mouthing some of the other brides & event planners she was working with. On the wedding day, everything worked out, flowers were beautiful. The nice thing about her is that she will send you photos of the bouquets and centerpieces and takes feedback well, so she'll fix them to look exactly how you want. She's super affordable and will come through for you when it matters most, but she's not the most reliable and you don't really get piece of mind with her.

We did not have a good experience with Kathleen. A friend had recommended her to us because her prices were cheaper & the flowers turned out well for them. Unfortunately we did not have the same experience. I had called & talked to her on the phone, emailed her & called to follow-up on a quote. The first time that I had talked to her on the phone, she sounded impatient & just told me to email her. Which I did. Didn't hear back for a couple of weeks so I called again. Another person answered & told me to text her. I texted her & again no response. At this point I gave up and went with someone else since we didn't have a lot of time left before the wedding. Regardless of how her prices and products are, the customer service is awful!

Proline - Kathleen Chiu I gave Kathleen a few images of bouquets (I wanted peonies and freesias) but none of them were quite what I wanted. She took my vision and created the most stunning bridal bouquet with complementary bridesmaids bouquets that were expertly created and beautifully wrapped in ribbon. The boutonnieres for the men were perfect as well. We purchased bulk flowers from her and created our own centrepieces, and her flowers were so full, fresh, and at an affordable rate. We looked at several companies for flowers, including Costco, and her prices could not be matched. We also rented white folding chairs, pipe and drape, and spotlights, which were in perfect condition, and added a lot to our venue’s decor. Her team is also very efficient with set up and take down. Thank you, Kathleen!

I am very pleased & thankful for the services I got from Kathleen the owner (and her mother) of Proline Flower. When a family member passed away 2 yr ago, someone recommended Proline Trading for flowers. Kathleen's mom was there to help, very friendly, polite & caring. The funeral flowers were beautiful & the price was good. Recently I lost a friend in BC. I was in US, on my way to a flight for family emergency, and wanted to order flowers fast. I thought of Proline, emailed Kathleen (via her website), and all things taken care of. Even though I didn't get to see the floral spray, but I am pleased for the professional service Kathleen provided to me, hence I am giving 5 stars!

This is the best florist that I have ever been to! The customer service is impeccable. I placed a bulk order for succulents and there was a slight miscommunication. The owner was very quick to resolve the issue and there was no difficulty at all. I am so glad that I found them because they'll be my go-to for all floral needs!!!

Highly recommended! Proline Trading was a referral from our BFF's wedding. Kathleen is the owner and main contact, and she was always very friendly and easy to talk to (especially over the phone). She prepared our bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and floral arch. When we went to pick up the arch and flowers, her team gave us the tools and taught us how to assemble it. Before that, she also sent us the dimensions/weight of the arch so we could plan which van to bring and which friends to ask. We felt so prepared! You can pay more to have the arch delivered but we wanted to save money. We went with a more simple hexagon style arch with flowers, but she also does the fancy/hipster ones that you see on pinterest. She officiate weddings and rents out other decor too!

Kathleen is amazing! I showed her some photos of what we like for our wedding and it turn out better than we expected! Super easy to work with, although she might reply a bit slow on emails, I find it’s easier to call her if you need an answer right away. I love the cake decoration, she reused pewmarkers and they turned out fabulous under the cake.
