Planning a wedding is challenging enough, and doing so during a pandemic makes it all the more difficult. We are so thankful that Joanna and Sarah were with us every step of the way. They were accommodating, flexible, and able to adapt to all the changing regulations and requirements. Both of them were hands on, with tons of check-ins, and always approachable. I don't know how we would've had a wedding without them!

Joanna and Sarah are so incredibly lovely. I had stumbled upon their information from a magazine spread in a bridal magazine and love the aesthetic of the pictures. Not only were they early for our initial meeting, they were able to accommodate my busy schedule and came to me. They are both so organized and incredibly responsive, which really put me at ease, knowing I could trust them. The cherry on top is that they understand and know Chinese wedding traditions.

I consider myself extremely lucky that I happened upon Joanna and Sarah. These sisters are amazing and everything I was looking for while searching for wedding planners/coordinators. I looked for someone who reflected my school's motto, "volens et valens" meaning, "ready and willing." They really were, ready and willing, and were with us every step of the way. I had the pleasure of having them along the journey of engagement and marriage for 18 months now, and still after the wedding they are working with us to make sure everything had been settled and that we are doing well. Joanna and Sarah take their work seriously but also work with humour and love. They were organized, communicated everything I needed to know, and always checked in on how things were going. Even when there were a few hiccups, they managed to smooth it all out. Throughout the planning process and especially our wedding day, they always made sure we were taken care of. They've gone above and beyond what I expected and I feel like I've made two great friends in these women. For all the amazing work they've done and continue to do, I would 100% recommend them to all my friends and family, colleagues, anyone who needs event planning/coordination. They really get the job done, are accommodating, and help you feel secure that your event will be awesome! These ladies are amazing and have wonderful personalities. They are so great to work with by the time your event is done you'll still want to keep in contact. I couldn't have asked for anyone better and I am so incredibly grateful to them for everything. I'm not intending to make a pun, but quite literally speaking, it really was an honour and a blessing getting to work with these young women, and I would do so all over again. ????????????

The first time I worked with Joanna & Sarah was back in 2015 and I was soon taken with the level of their professionalism and their attention to detail in vendor communications. I've always appreciated a high level of efficiency when it comes to event planning; it is what makes a photographer's job a dream when documenting the bride & groom's big day. I've seen them in stressful situations and they've surprised me every time with their calm & can-do attitude. I've had the opportunities to work with them on several occasions throughout the past few years working together as the wedding team and they've also worked with me planning & coordinating my own private workshops and they've also recently designed a commercial editorial shoot for Pixieset. They are not only hardworking but also client driven which doesn't come easy in our industry. Joanna and Sarah are the best wedding planners and coordinators EVER. I remember how much I panicked when I first realized that I only had a little bit more than three months to plan my wedding from NOTHING. I didn't know what I was supposed to do and felt pretty lost. And then, I found Joanna and Sarah. From the very beginning, they were there to give me ideas about what kind of wedding I should have, and guided me to pick the theme colours, which at the end really fit the wedding so beautifully. I have to say, they have an admirable taste for fashion. They also did a lot of research on different vendors for photography, videography and decoration, and narrowed them down to just few good choices for me according to my preference. This saved me from the trouble of having to go through hundreds of vendors out there on the internet. They arranged each meeting with different vendors and accompanied me to meet them in person. They also spent lots and lots of hours on making the very detailed schedule of what EVERYBODY involved in the wedding had to do from a few weeks before the wedding till the day of. I can't fully describe how grateful I am to have their help for the most important day of my life. My wedding was so beautiful and everything was arranged just the way I wanted. Thanks to Joanna and Sarah for all the effort into making my Big day so wonderful and unforgettable.

Joanna and Sarah went far above and beyond our expectations with daily meetings and telecoms, making themselves available whenever required, while assisting us with such things as making adorable party favors and researching our vendors. They provided us a myriad of options and used their extensive knowledge and experience in guiding us with our decisions in choosing things such as decor, florist, and even in very details things; this is just a sample of what Joanna and Sarah can offer and is capable of. Essentially, we planned our whole wedding in about three-month time and it turned out as perfectly as envisioned. Joanna's and Sarah's top-notch organizational skills, detail-oriented and 'on-top-of-it-all-under-control' personality made us worry nothing throughout the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding, On our big day, the venue was beautifully decorated and the whole event was delivered spectacularly. Everything looked so impossibly perfect on the day and we were blown away. Joanna and Sarah have great contacts, energy, and flare for wedding planning and ensure all is coordinated with military precision. Nadia and I would like to extend a massive personal thank you to them for making our wedding day so special. Words cannot express my gratitude for Joanna and Sarah. Not only were did they do an amazing job helping me plan a big wedding, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made sure I was calm and collected before the ceremony. From the consultation to the wedding day, they were patient, organized and very professional. They took their time to get to know the bride and groom and understand what they want. In addition to planning, they were also my wedding decorators. Not only were they able to bring my vision to life, they added their creative touches and made it better! I cannot thank you enough!

What makes Sarah and Joanna unique compared to other wedding planners is the dynamic between the two of them. Very rarely will you see two sisters, both with the same passion for wedding planning, commitment to top quality service, that are constantly on the same wave length. This was very beneficial during the planning stage and even more so on the wedding day. I can hardly remember a hiccup on that day and it wasn't because there weren't any, but Sarah and Joanna took care of it before my wife and I noticed. Like the bible says "two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour". God bless these two sisters. I highly recommend them!

Sarah and Joanna from Honour and Blessing were absolutely amazing as our wedding planners! From our first meeting all the way to our wedding day, they were so easy to work with! They both really strived to get to know my husband and I, and to really understand our vision for our wedding. Joanna and Sarah made my wedding day and even the months before that run smoothly. The two of them make such a great team because they complement each other so well. They made the wedding process from vendor selecting to decor so simple. When you work with the two sisters, you can see that they love what they do and they will always make you feel like the star of the show. Without the two of them, my wedding would have been a nightmare and I would have been a Bridezilla. From our first meeting, Joanna and Sarah were wonderful and pleasant to work with. My husband and I feel so grateful to have had these ladies help plan our special day. We are particularly thankful that they were able to help us make our new plan possible after COVID-19 hit. They were able to ease our worries during the difficult and stressful re-planning process. These girls are basically who you would have to loved to be assigned to do group projects with back in high school, as they are so organized, thoughtful, thorough, and on the ball. They were able to think of things that we missed or wouldn't have thought of. Also, the gorgeous decor and floral arrangements were the talk of our wedding. From the planning of the wedding, setting up meetings with the vendors, to the actual wedding itself, Effervescence Wedding has been highly efficient and professional with their service. I couldn't believe how relaxed I was through the entire planning process. Everything was well prepared and it was almost as if all I had to do was to show up on the wedding day. Being of Chinese background, there were also many traditions that I didn't even know about, but this was all taken care of by Effervescence Wedding. Their entire planning of the wedding also took well consideration of both my wife's and my parents' preference in creating the best wedding. It would have been a disaster trying to organize this by myself and I am so glad that I made the decision of having Effervescence Wedding take care of the planning process.

They were there for us from the very beginning, helping us create a feasible budget while keeping our vision in mind, providing wedding dress inspiration and advice, helping us navigate proper etiquette for wedding announcements, and so much more. On the 1st day of every month they would send us a to-do list. I loved this style of planning because it was organized, not overwhelming, and took away all the stress of planning from us. Joanna and Sarah were amazing to work with! We are so happy to have had them as our planners. They were very helpful throughout and always provided excellent suggestions. They truly go above and beyond and everything went so smoothly on our special day. Joanna and Sarah were always available whenever I had questions and I appreciate their special reminders or I would always be forgetting things to do! I forgot to purchase more bags for our wedding favours and the girls went out of their way to come up with an alternative for the left over favours when they didn't have to. They put so much thought and effort into everything they do and you can tell they truly love their work. The floral arrangements and the venue looked amazing when we arrived and everything was so lovely. It was exactly how I wanted everything to look and I'm so glad they were there to make everything so beautiful. By the end of the night the girls made sure everything was handled well before they left and made sure there was nothing we would be stressed about.
