ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! We chose wedding-day services for our magical wedding at Fairmont Waterfront, Vancouver. Even though the pricing was higher than other vendors, we chose Alicia Keats because of the amazing professionalism she displayed with our initial interaction. What a perfect decision it turned out to be! KASIA WARDOWICZ was our wonderful coordinator. She took care of our very detailed timeline prior to the wedding, she connected with all of the vendors beforehand, and she made sure there was nothing we had to worry about on the wedding day. Furthermore, she handled matters for us which we would have never thought of! E.g. all of the flowers ended up in my parents' room at the end of the night - something I completely forgot to mention - my parents loved how full of flowers their house was the next day while hosting friends for a post-party wedding. Just one of the many many things she did. She was absolutely amazing!! There are not enough words here to describe the fantastic job she did. All thanks to Alicia, I had the wedding of my dreams on August 29th at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel Vancouver. It is hard to find the words to describe exactly how incredible Alicia Keats is, but I will do my best in this google review. I've recommended Alicia to my couples over the many years I've known and worked with her for two reasons. First there is the selfish, practical angle: from a photographer's perspective when I'm working an AK wedding I am prepared with a detailed colour-coded timeline with every bit of information I could need (if I have a question I just need to look again). The day is intelligently designed with enough time and flow allowing me to do my best work. I have what I need and the couple feels relaxed, their needs have been anticipated, and they are confident about what's going on behind the scenes. Everything looks beautiful, making my task easier and my images the best that they can be, ready for any publication. The second but more important reason I recommend Alicia is her heart, her passion and sincerity. It takes a special person, I think, to inspire the trust she does when designing and orchestrating significant life events. I hear about the appreciation her clients have for her leading up to their weddings and without fail, during the thank-you speeches at the end of the night. On a basic level as a human being, Alicia is kind, gracious, and thoughtful. When you add in her passion, creativity, professionalism, and attention-to-detail, you wind up with the most amazing wedding planner. We were incredibly fortunate to get to work with Alicia and receive complete wedding planning services from her and her team. She took the complication and stress out of the wedding planning process, and even made the not-so-fun tasks (e.g. guest lists and seating charts) much more manageable with her guidance and support. Alicia is incredibly knowledgeable and well-connected, and thanks to her we were able to work with some of the best people in their respective fields for our wedding. I can't say enough about Alicia! We had talked to a few wedding planners, but Alicia's friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and bubbly personality won us over immediately. She was able to work with our busy schedule (and time difference), and helped us to bring our vision to reality. The actual wedding was actually even more beautiful than I had imagined! Alicia made the whole planning process fun and enjoyable. The day of the wedding was as smooth as it can be - totally stress-free, so we got to enjoy the day rather than worrying about the details. Many of our guests are still raving about the wedding - some even said it was the best wedding they have ever been to! All that is possible because of Alicia and her team. My only regret is not taking more photos with her. Highly recommend :)
