After such a horrible experience at another rental place in town, it was nice to go here and get the polar opposite experience. She was willing to show us around, let us try some linens on the table to see what it would look like and was just all around helpful. I'd highly recommend these guys from just that initial experience.

We had a great experience with the team here! Chris and Greg were very easy to talk to. Chris was able to come out to see the property, easily accommodating our schedules. Unfortunately we had to cancel our wedding reception this year due to the pandemic, they were very understanding and helped make this a less stressful time for us! We are excited to use their services again in the future!

Gregory and Chris were absolutely fantastic. I had called Special Event Rentals only 1.5 weeks before a 60th surprise backyard (small gathering) party. I got a quote within hours and everything was ready to go within the day. The whole process was flawless... I definitely recommend!
I dealt with Gary Evans for my wedding this past Saturday and everything was perfect. He was so helpful and took a lot of stress off my shoulders. They delivered a dance floor, couches and bistro tables, everything looked exactly the way I had pictured it. Their delivery drivers were friendly and efficient. Extremely pleased with their services and will be recommending them to everyone!

Greg and the team here were great to work with! Their website made it easy for me to price out my event's items and the items were of very good quality and well packaged. There was one hiccup when they picked up my items from my garage (overlooked a bag of napkins to take back) but the team was very understanding that I couldn't get it back to them until after the honeymoon. Overall, great experience and will certainly use them again.

They answered all of questions in a timely manner and also didn’t mind when I came back with changes, they have so many options it was hard to choose ( we went with the darling cut glassware, swoon, it will be stunning!). To say my experience with Special Events Rental was any less than amazing is an understatement. Chris, was so attentive and so accommodating of what was always feeling like my ever changing needs. Our tent rental was so beautiful. I contacted several other companies and this was the only one that gave me a full quote and drawing of the floor plan right out of the gate. Chris also came out to our property twice to make sure everything would go smoothly for the day they came to install. If you are debating getting a floor installed with you tent I would 100% recommend it. Their team is very skilled and the floor made the tent feel so much more comfortable. We wish we could have kept the whole structure!

Great selection, and service however a bit on the pricier end That being said, they delivered my order wrong and i had to give them a call a bunch of times for it to be corrected but it was handled well!
This year I planned my dream wedding in my parents Grimsby backyard, and none of it would have been possible without the incredible team at Special Event Rentals, especially Greg. I had some specific visions around table design, and Greg went above and beyond to make it happen. He was able to work his network to get us the special table cloths and bread plates matching the exact colour/design/texture that I wanted. We went back and forth across 20+ emails until he found exactly what I liked, and on the day of the event it looked even better than I had imagined. We booked their outdoor tent with lining, which they set up in the backyard across 4 days. Every person I met on their team was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive. The tent was absolutely stunning, and held up great when it poured rain around 11pm. Greg also helped with a lot of last minute issues, including getting us a bigger table and extra chairs when 3 more people RSVP'd the week of the wedding. He also was able to get us a slightly bigger dance floor with one day's notice after our setup revealed we'd chosen too small of a size. The quality of the rentals they offer, including the extra range they have access to through their network, made working with Special Events a dream. Their team was very helpful, and did a great job to make our event perfect (including staying on site until 9pm one night setting up the tent). Gary referred us to our caterer, the Innsville, who did a spectacular job. He also referred us to a few other vendors, all of whom were top quality. If you're planning a high quality event and looking to work with a team who gets event planning and cares about doing things right then you should definitely contact Gary and Greg, who will make all your dreams come true.

As a corporate event planner, I've worked with Special Event Rentals for years now. Their attention to detail and great customer service, is what keeps me coming back as a repeat client of theirs. More specifically, Greg always makes sure that I have everything I need and Chris always ensures that tents are set up perfectly with all of my specific requests included. In addition, the staff that drop off and pick up are also fantastic - and I've seen the same staff for years, which speaks volumes. I'd highly recommend renting and ordering event tents from Special Event Rentals.
Great service and great prices! Nice selection of cutlery, dinnerware, and linens. We decided to rent all our dinnerware, flatware, and glassware for our small barn wedding from here. Greg was very accommodating to our needs, and did not try to push us to get more items than we needed. They are very flexible, and allow you to change your final item list as long as it’s not too close to the rental date. Great experience overall!
My staff and i have never been met with more courteous staff and attentive management. If anyone ever has a concern they can rest assured it will be dealt with to your satisfaction. Not to mention they have the LOWEST prices in town and have EVERYTHING you need. The place is huge. Forget the otbers. Go here!!!!

By dropping everything off the morning of my event and the fact you can just put everything back in the totes after the party is done without worrying about washing them, made the day that much less stressful for me. My Husband and I had planned our dream wedding for July, and as per Covid we had to do a complete 180. Used them for the first time this year for a Christmas party and very happy with the service. Staff was very friendly, especially the guys in the back. Pick up and drop off was quick. I rented dishes, cutlery, glasses and linens. Everything was perfect. Will definitely use them again.
