We loved our wedding at Marquis Gardens. Highly recommend - the staff are kind & helpful. They helped us plan a wedding during the pandemic, which is challenging (to say the least) with all the changing restrictions and guidelines. I can't count the number of times I texted the coordinator who worked at the venue with questions and changes but she was always patient in answering me. They ensured everything ran smoothly on our big day and ensured that all the details were to my satisfaction. They have relationships with DJ's, bakers, photographers, and other vendors you need. It was also convenient for us and our guests to stay at the hotel at the venue. I couldn't have done it without their guidance and help. Thank you!

I was planning my wedding remotely, but that was no issue for the professional staff at Marquis. I was working with Deanna who was by far my favourite vendor with whom I interacted during my entire wedding planning process. Prompt email replies, organized, professional and just overall extremely helpful. The day went off without a hitch! The available packages were great, lots of decorations and extra items were available to rent, this is a real gem for someone who is trying to find a venue that takes care of it all for you. The bartender was great, and the food was some of the best food we've ever had at a reception. Not to mention the pricing is extremely reasonable. Further, if you have out-of-town guests, the convenience of being in a hotel cannot be understated. Everything was so organized and professional, we're really very grateful we found Marquis Gardens and decided to host our wedding there!

A wedding I was hired as a wedding planner for took place at the Burlington Marquis Gardens this past weekend, and it was an absolute pleasure to work there! Everyone from the front desk staff to the kitchen staff and banquet managers were incredible! Deanna from Burlington Marquis Gardens was extremely professional and helpful! What a gem! Deanna B and her team are fantastic! From the get go, Deanna put up with all our questions throughout the months of planning! We, the bride and groom, really appreciated the minor details they did for us on the day of the wedding (ie. giving us a full appetizer platter on the head table). Everyone raved about the food, got the prime rib and salmon, and amazing appetizers! Food was on time, never a delay and the midnight snack table was great! Also amazing venue staff. Killin it!

We got married here in July of 2018 and it was a wonderful venue. Our guests raved about the food (and were very full at the end of the meal!), the decor, and the location. Deanna helped us figure out all the details (from decor options to menu to recommending an awesome dj) and it was a pleasant and stress-free experience. Also, it is very reasonably priced! We would highly recommend it. The one issue we had was the room warmed up during dinner, which made dancing afterwards less comfortable. But that's it.

Best! Looking for reasons to have another event at this venue! Venue and staff and food were all fantastic! Pricing was very reasonable, especially compared to Spencer’s. We got married August 2018 And had just under 100 guests. There was still plenty of room. Everyone actually liked how cozy yet not crowded it was. The venue is very unique. You have your own private ballroom, patio, hall, and washroom, so no other events to share with! Additionally, it looks over and walks out to the waterfront park, so we did not have to go far to take pictures, saving time. On top of that, there is a hotel on site, making it sooo easy at the end of the night for all the parties out guests. The patio is such a bonus! We ended up setting up a photo booth outside and we were all in and out, it was great to have the extra space and fresh air with all the dancing. Our planner was Deanna, cannot praise enough! Very organized, professional, and present, yet down to earth and easy going. Always replied in a timely manner and with the right answers. The rest of the staff were just as nice! Updated us politely throughout the event, and just took care of everything! All our guests enjoyed all the staff. Food was fantastic! Was even better than when we sampled! Guests had great feedback. Everything was brought out fresh and on an excellent schedule. Once again, looking for more reasons to party here again! Thank you to Deanna and all the staff! Kat and Mike :)

Ladies and gentlemen if you are looking for an amazing spot to have your wedding look no further than the Marquis Gardens in Burlington! We were married here last week. Leading up to I was working with Deanna to help plan and coordinate. She was incredible! I have catered weddings in the past and I know good from bad. Our damask linens that were included were beautiful. We had rave reviews about the food being the best that people have ever had at a wedding. No one left hungry. We were married outside with the most incredible view. Most people who attended now have pics of them out here as their profile pics because it was so beautiful. The waiter who was just for the head table was outstanding. Standing outside for pictures so we could grab some food in Between pics. I can't say enough but this was the best decision we made for our wedding!

We had our wedding reception here and the staff was wonderful to work with. Deanna was very professional and helpful with any questions we had in planning our wedding day. Having the hotel attached to our reception was an easy option for our guests. I would highly recommend Marquis gardens.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Burlington Marquis Gardens in June 2018, and it was a fantastic experience. The waterfront location is absolutely stunning and made for beautiful photos, and the outdoor waterfront patio was a huge hit with our guests. Deanna worked closely with us in the months leading up to the wedding to plan out our event, and thanks to all of her careful planning and organization, everything went according to plan. The room was set up beautifully, including high quality linens and floating candle centrepieces provided by Marquis Gardens. We received many compliments from our guests on the food, including a great late-night buffet. The staff was a pleasure to work with, as well. Overall it was a great experience and we're very happy that we chose Marquis Gardens Burlington for our wedding!

Disorganized staff with no leader in site!! we paid for plated service and part of the meal was family style. They definitely cheaped out on the sweets table actually saw our food being delivered and sit outside on a truck in the open air for a while. Then I found out why the service was so disorganized it was because our organizer was at another wedding to manage. GOOD one! The steak meals were not all the same sized and found out they ran out and started cutting steaks in half to give to people. And the staff asked one of our guests if their child wanted to eat who was 7 at the time. We had paid a meal for that child.. Why ask ? It was humiliating and I felt like management did not care to make amends for the horrible experience. Maybe this was a one off time but I really can't get over what happened and probably wont ever forget it.

Our experience at Marquis Gardens from the very first meeting with Claudine to last call on the night of our wedding was exceptional. Claudine managed our event very professionally and was able to handle the specific details we had requested even with the complexities involved, mainly the short turn around time. Myself and our guests were very impressed by the quality of the food that came out of the kitchen and the service was great! The decor we had brought with us was setup beautifully inside and the bride was really happy with it (which is a high bar to reach). Overall, Claudine and Marquis Gardens really delivered an exceptional event that we and our guests loved and I can't recommend this place enough.

We recently had our wedding reception at Marquis Gardens @ waterfront Burlington (in June 2018). If we could give more than 5 stars for the venue, we would! Working with Marquis gardens, more specifically with Deanna Bodden was beyond our expectations. Deanna was very professional, helpful, compassionate, caring and easy to work with. She really cared about all the details and, in result, our wedding day was just perfect. Deanna was always there to answer any of our questions, and was extremely helpful and accomodating on our wedding day. We have received a lot of compliments on the venue, food (including vegetarian meals) and decor. I would absolutely recommend Marquis Gardens to anyone! We are so glad we’ve booked our wedding with them!

I had my wedding at Marquis Gardens Burlington location in August. From the very beginning, Deanna was so helpful. She always responded to my emails and answered any questions I had. She was present during the day of my wedding to make sure the ceremony ran perfectly and everyone knew when to enter and walk down the aisle. She addressed any concerns I had and was overall a joy to work with. The food at the venue was Amazing! Not one of my guests had a negative thing to say about the venue. The staff was amazing. Especially the waiter working at the head table. The food was delicious and the staff did an amazing job setting up the decor for the room. The place settings and table decor was absolutely beautiful and just how I imagined. I would recommend Marquis Gardens to anyone getting married! We had a wonderful experience.
