I walk by this place every Sunday for a walk on the grounds. They have a nice trail along the water. If l was to get married all over again, l would want this place to do that. The facility is very beautiful and a perfect place for a wedding and wedding pictures.

Went here for a wedding. The food was horrible, flavorless, barely warm and the dessert was insulting. Served a "chicken" and I'm not even sure it was chicken. Prime rib had zero flavor, 3 tiny potatoes and 2 pieces of asparagus - the dessert said it was a Tiramisu, it wasn't even close to being that. Was sick for 2 days after this.

We had our wedding at LaSalle at the beginning of September 2018. Edge Hospitality was a pleasure to deal with. Leading up to the date, we had a meeting with Zorka who is lovely and answered all 15+ of my emails. Eduardo was the point guy for the day of the wedding and he made sure everything ran smoothly. The staff was super friendly and the bartender even gave me a hug at the end of the night saying she loved my family because they were so friendly and polite the entire night. The food was fantastic and they accommodated everyone's needs. The only complaint I would have is that I found the in house DJ super expensive and when we wanted to use someone else, they have a $400 hook up fee for using the upstairs system PLUS another $400 hook up fee for using the terrace system. That's an extra $800 just to use the equipment. A bit extreme if you ask me.

Definitely the Venue of choice. Me and my wife planned to have a boutique and lovely wedding and we had it. Most of my guests spoke highly to the location and food there; and they were able to walk around the LaSalle park with kids. My coordinator was Lisa and she had answered every question of mine. Now my advice to the couples would be: submit your plan to EDGE as early as possible to avoid hassles; and then enjoy the food.

Nice venue. Great food. Very very bad acoustics inside if your wedding is indoors only....LOUD! Nothing on the walls to dampen the noise. Also, if you are from out of town, be sure to know that it is off North Shore Blvd. Google maps brought us all to the docks.

My husband and I had our wedding at LaSalle on September 3rd and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the very beginning, Marisa was extremely helpful and attentive to all of our questions and concerns. The venue was very understanding of us having to postpone our original date as well. We had our ceremony on the grass, and the wedding receipton on the pavilion. We were also able to stay on site for our pictures, as the surrounding area is gorgeous and there are many spots for great pictures. We received many compliments on the food, and all allergies and dietary restrictions were accommodated with no problem. I found it lovely that the staff kept some appetizers aside for us since we took our pictures during cocktail hour. Also a special shout out to the main bartender, Gabriel, who always made sure that we were taken care of and had everything we needed! I would 10/10 recommend this space for special events.

Beautiful and one of a kind venue! We got married here in June 2019 and could not have asked for anything better. Food surpassed our expectation - huge portions and everything was delicious from the bread to dessert. Antipasto bar during cocktail hour was a hit. Our banquet manager Eduardo made sure everything went smoothly and fixed a couple hiccups before ceremony. Staff were courteous and extremely organized. A quick walk down to the marina for photos by the water was a bonus. Highly recommend to anyone looking to plan any event.

This review is long over due! I have been day dreaming about my amazing bridal shower at La Salle on July 2021 even months after. I fell in love with the venue the moment I saw it. Zorka was incredible to deal with from start to end. She was always so responsive and detailed. The day of the event every single staff member from the waitstaff to the bartender were such a pleasure to deal with. They were so kind to me and all my guests. They went above and beyond to ensure we were having an amazing time. The food and drinks were incredible. As a wedding planner I have seen and planned many events at various venues and La Salle is still at the top of my list to recommend. I can't say enough. The structure itself is nice with the lights and stuff, but it's set smack dab in the middle of a park so even after paying for a permit there were families having picnics and playing volleyball right outside of the wedding. As a wedding photographer, there's nothing immediately beautiful to set as a backdrop for pics, especially when you have numerous families having a picnic in the background.

I’m surprised that there are so many negative reviews. We had an excellent experience at our wedding reception hosted by Edge Hospitality at LaSalle Banquet Centre. The host Mahmoud was very attentive to our requests and the servers were so polite. The bar tender was very friendly! The outdoor pavilion space is absolutely gorgeous, we had compliments from our guests. Would definitely recommend LaSalle for any occasion.

We had our wedding here August 11, 2018. The venue is absolutely stunning, the staff was so kind, the food was amazing and received so many compliments. Kelly was our contact person and she was very helpful throughout the entire process leading up to our wedding. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. The only issue we had at all was with one of the bartenders, she was very erratic and was cutting people off that were not drinking very much, which I do understand it is her license she she does have to make those calls, but she was also doing shots with some of our guests and I have been told by quite a few guests that she was very rude to them. Other then that we are extremely pleased with this venue!!

Hiking trails and marina, nice big park for the kids along with a pool/splash pad. Bring peanuts and black oil sunflower seeds so you can and feed ducks, swans, squirrels and chipmunks.

Staff was in a hurry to get out. Chairs getting put up while guests still present. Was attending a memorial service for a friend. Thursday Aug 12. Service ran until 8. Chairs up at 7:30. I'm aware the staff wants to get home.. but this was a celebration of life.

The venue is beautiful, the food was delicious, the staff are friendly, attentive and fun and our coordinator, Lisa, made sure that the day rolled out smoothly. We loved our wedding day and are so grateful to the staff at LaSalle for all that they did to make sure our expectations were exceeded. Edge Hospitality was a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process of planning our wedding. Our day was absolutely phenomenal and ran as smoothly as we could ask for. The guests complemented on how beautiful the venue was which is a testament to the company. Throughout the entire process, our main contact Lisa was quick to respond and extremely professional and direct. The pricing and breakdown of our day was transparent and communicated well. In addition, all the staff on the day were fantastic and very helpful. The day of coordinator helped calm our nerves during the ceremony and made the reception run smoothly. I got married here on June 30th, 2018. We had our ceremony under the pavilion and the reception upstairs in the main ballroom. Kelly and Eduardo are amazing people to work with, and made sure our day was the best day ever! The food was immaculate! The bar tender was soo nice, and even played musical chairs with the kids at the end of the night. I would 100% recommend LaSalle a million times over!! Thank you for the perfect day!! ❤❤

We had our wedding here in September 2018. The staff were awesome. Eduardo was our day of coordinator and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. The event space is beautiful, well kept and recently refreshed. The food was hot, delicious and there was plenty of it. Would definitely recommend LaSalle for your event or wedding.

Went here for a wedding. Very cute location, right next to the park and splash pad so families and children had to come close to the cocktail hour as the bathroom and change rooms are in the same building. The parking was hard to find. Google maps brings you to the water where the docks are, several guests parked there and walked up a hill to get to the park. The parking is actually in the park, which could have been said in the wedding invite directions, but the park should also be properly signed. I took a guess and followed other lost individuals towards the Hall, cute spot for small wedding!

La Salle Banquet Centre is a beautiful place however I would not recommend booking here. Staff are way too money oriented and were quite painful to work with and negotiate organising an event during the pandemic. Understandably many businesses are tightening things up money-wise due to the pandemic, but this was next level daylight robbery. I’d advise to take your business elsewhere.

They will scam you out of your deposit. Fake 5 star reviews, I know multiple couples who have gotten married here and experience has always been a disappointment. Read through all reviews and you will most of them are made up of 5 star reviews with no writing or experience. Be careful guys and do your research. Class action lawsuit coming their way from multiple couples who lost their deposits. Food is also disgusting

La Salle Banquet is a perfect venue for COVID! It is outside, but covered, with a beautiful backdrop of the lake and a well kept garden. Edge also went above and beyond during our whole event planning, specifically Zorka. From rescheduling our date twice, to many emails of questions, she was always accommodating and either her or Alexandria would be available to assist us promptly. Now to the day of.. it was beyond wonderful. To the gentlemen who helped my husband/groomsmen set up, to the bartender, Gabriel who kept the party fun and crowd happy, to Mahmoud who kept the entire night going to plan and our bellies full with delicious food (the salted caramel mousse does not disappoint). We could not have dreamed of anything more! Thanks Edge :D

From start to finish, it was a truly awful experience and had we had any idea of how completely incompetent, unethical and outright disrespectful the "management"

I am not the type to post poor reviews about companies, however I feel it is important this is shared. I was scheduled to get married at this venue in April 2020 with Edge Catering, for obvious reasons the venue needed to postpone my wedding. They offered me a couple dates in 2021 that would not work for myself or my family (options were very limited). Due to this, we requested a full refund there was a line in our contract that stated we were entitled to a full refund if our wedding had to be cancelled due to government shutdowns etc. (this was the reason our wedding was cancelled). The venue refused to give us our money back, we have since gotten a lawyer and have legally served them with no response back. We will be getting our money back after spending a few hundred on legal fees. They were extremely rude, unreasonable and inconsiderate during these trying and uncertain times and HIGHLY recommend people avoid booking with them and be careful giving them your money.

We had our wedding at LaSalle Park on 08.10.18 and had a great experience. The day of went very smoothly and we were pleased with how it all came together. Lisa was easy to get in touch with when we had questions and was able to fulfill all my requests. The venue itself is beautiful (the surrounding park is so well maintained and looked green and lush even though we've had an incredibly hot summer). We had our ceremony and reception here and the staff was professional and polite the entire time. I didn't even notice them dismantling the ceremony space while we took a group photo after the ceremony. Our guests raved about the antipasto bar during cocktail hour and most enjoyed their meal (we had prime rib as our main entree and some pieces were not as good as others - some commented it was tough and sinewy). Bar service was great. I did hear after the fact that they were running out of certain beer types... and given we had an open bar and the highest package I would have thought we wouldn't come that close to running out of all beer. A few small glitches but overall a clean and crisp facility that I would definitely recommend to others! Thanks everyone for making our day so great!

Im convinced all positive reviews here are fake. management are money hungry and will scam you out of extras. Thank you all so much for making our wedding amazing! Everyone, from the co-ordinators to the bar staff to the servers were a dream to work with. We've been getting stories from our guests for the past couple of days about how fun the servers were. The location is gorgeous; we actually ended up not using some decor we had brought along, because the room was already so pretty. You all made us feel incredibly special. My mom actually said she wishes she had another event to throw, because she wants to go back.

Everything about our wedding was absolutely perfect. Edge Hospitality was incredible throughout our entire wedding planning from December 2019 until our wedding FINALLY happened on August 13th, 2021. They were so accommodating even through the re-scheduling of our event during the pandemic. Zorka and Alex went above and beyond to make sure our day was absolutely perfect, with many of our guests saying it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. The food was amazing as well. We cannot thank Edge Hospitality and LaSalle Banquet for the most beautiful and perfect wedding!
