Our officiant David Mathieu was absolutely amazing at our wedding! He was well spoken, catered to all of our wants and needs and was very well organized. His professional insight and advice was very helpful in choosing the wording for the ceremony, the order of the ceremony and how the ceremony was set up. We would highly recommend David to our family and friends getting married in the future! In addition to David's officiant duties, he was also our SYMBIS (Save Your Marriage Before It Starts) program advisor. My then fiancé and I answered various questions separately and then discussed the answers with David and his wife Wendy. The questions touched on various topics including finances and personal needs in marriage. We would recommend this program to anyone looking to learn more about their partner. Even though we have been together for 4 years, we still learned a lot of new things about each others wants and needs through this program.

Our original wedding date was set for May 29th 2020; but as we all know, COVID-19 changed our plans. We postponed the big celebration to next year (where FunWeddings will be joining us again by looking after our symbolic ceremony) but we also knew we didn't want to wait to start our forever together. Without hesitation and with all the help and patience we needed, Kip made it the most special of days! We loved how we were able to personalize our program, how Kip brought class and fun to the short and sweet ceremony, and how receptive he and his team was to us as a couple - not only on the day but through emails and when we first met him last winter. Kip knew we wanted something special, since this is an 18 year relationship, and he made it a day we won't forget. ...We also enjoyed the "you're married selfie!" :) So thrilled to know I am married to my best-friend, at last!

After reading tons of great reviews, we reached out to Kip from FunWeddings to officiate our ceremony. We recommend all other engaged couples do the same! He was awesome. From the get go, he was extremely professional and attentive to detail. Before our first phone consultation he had even looked up how to pronounce my name (because it's not common) and I can say no one has ever done that in my entire life. He helped us all the way through helping us pick the perfect ceremony for us and his templates for ceremony documents are sooo helpful and great. We ended up having to postpone twice and eventually cancel our wedding due to COVID, but he legally married us on our original date. Through all the complications he was more than accommodating and flexible. He is extremely kind, well-spoken and looks super sharp for all those ceremony photos :) Would recommend him to anybody looking for an awesome, professional, friendly and detail-oriented officiant!

Fun weddings was great to work with. We hired them to be our officiant. Due to changes related to covid we had to change Officiants about a month from the wedding and they were very accommodating. We ended up with Kip officiating our wedding and helping us with our rehearsal. He did an outstanding job even when we lost power half way through the ceremony! We had a lot of compliments on how nice the ceremony was. Fun weddings makes it really easy to create your perfect ceremony with all their different templates to choose from. Highly recommend!!

We contacted FunWeddings some time ago, and based on our conversation, they recommended Joy as a 'feminist' option from their roster of officiants. True to her word, Joy was open to all of our ceremony ideas. FunWeddings offers a template ceremony with a few options for each stage of the ceremony, and although we did use that as the basis of ours, we ended up veering pretty far off of their standard script. You would have never been able to tell from Joy's delivery, though; she was comfortable, fun, and engaging. She supported us in trying to make our ceremony feminist (ex: by entering together) and let me know when things would not work so well (ex: it is not physically possible to put the rings on each other at the same time). We did a brief rehearsal the day before but due to some confusion on my end, most of the wedding party was not present for it. Joy arrived a bit early to go through things with those who had missed it, and everything went smoothly. Joy was friendly, fun, and efficient. Her love of love is evident in every interaction you have with her, and especially on the day of. Thanks for making it official for us, Joy! 10/10

We worked with Kip as our officiant and Lori as our photographer. I cannot think of words for how wonderful this group is! A planned wedding during a pandemic could have been a nightmare, but Kip was so quick to reassure us and make sure our coronawedding day was perfect, and it was! Our guests loved him, he’s very personable. Loris sneak peek pics are stunning. Can’t wait to have them both again for the postponed vow renewals and big wedding next year. 5 stars isn’t enough for these guys.
