I read positive reviews prior to booking Digital Vinyl DJ & Events, however, was disappointed in the quality and responsiveness to my concerns after my wedding. I reached out to them to provide feedback the week after my wedding, and never heard back. I thought I would post my feedback here to help others make an informed decision.
We were satisfied with the initial planning process and online portal. Our meeting prior to our wedding day was a great way to know what to expect and communicate our expectations for the day. Unfortunately, it is clear to us now that there is a major disconnect between the planning portion of the process and the actual execution of the event. We spent a lot of time using the new online portal to make our specific requests, in particular, our first dance song. The representative had shown us what to do when a song that we wanted was not present in the available catalogue and that the Spotify integration could take care of that as long as the song was available on Spotify. We added in the specific song that we wanted for our first dance through the Spotify integration, since the version of the song that we wanted was not in the available catalogue. Unfortunately the wrong song was played for our first dance. This was a very major disappointment, as this song is very special to us and we were really looking forward to having it as our first dance.
We thought this feedback would be valuable to share, especially considering that the first dance at a wedding is very special, and we would not want another couple to have the same disappointment that we experienced. We would have really appreciated a response from Digital Vinyl after providing feedback, but unfortunately we never heard back.
