Had the good fortune to attend a luncheon and show at this venue and I was very impressed. The venue itself was beautiful, clean and tastefully decorated. Parking attendants guided me to the next available parking spot which I really appreciated. The serving staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. When the time come for me to make wedding plans for my kids I'll be looking here for sure! Just a great venue.

It's not everyday that you come across a wedding venue that truly cares about making sure every detail on your wedding day is taken care of. Working with BCC for our wedding the past 10 months have been nothing short of incredible - Sonia, you are amazing and a true rockstar. You were there every step of the way to guide us, helped us make decisions and advise on every aspect of the wedding when we were overwhelmed, ensured us we were not to worry about our wedding reception and truly showed us that BCC cares about their clients. You constantly followed up with us and returned emails right away and always kept my husband and I in the loop with every decision made. Not many people get to say that they actually sat down and ate all 3 courses AND midnight buffet with their husband on their wedding day! The entire staff that made August 31st 2019 happen - we are extremely grateful for you! This was truly an unforgettable experience and I would recommend BCC for any and all future events!

Temperature in building was good (warm & comfortable) and very clean / well maintained etc. Limited parking so be prepared to either get there very early, carpool, get a ride, or park away then walk for a bit (bring comfy shoes and a warm coat) because most other parking lots around are private or reserved. Would be nice to see more food options available that are suitable for people with more common food allergies (ie. Gluten, dairy). I only found celerie, carrot sticks and olives. Leave yourself time to eat before/after or you may be hungry if your corporate/business event is expected to be catered or long. Bring your own non-dairy "creamer/milk" for coffee/tea if you need it or something premade in a thermal mug.... hot water for tea wasn't too hot as per a couple other attendees who brought own tea bag.

Words don't do justice to just how amazing Burlington Convention Centre and more specifically, Sonia was throughout my wedding prep down to the big day on September 3, 2017. Sonia was one of the most professional, organized and efficient person my husband and I dealt with for our wedding. She was very easy to communicate with, understood our concerns, was open to ideas and helped us make some key decisions and connections. My guests loved the layout, the set up, the service (at the bar and the wait staff), the ambience, everything. Even my day/of wedding planner advised that BCC was the best vendor out of the 10+ vendors we had for our wedding. Needless to say, I would highly recommend them! Thanks again Sonia :)

We attended the Halton Job Fair in the fall of 2016. As a participant attending the event, I was impressed with the venue. It appeared to be well maintained, well lit, and fashionably accessorized. It would provide a high end impact for a corporate function or wedding. There was plenty of ample free parking available.

We had our wedding this past August at the BCC in the Emerald Room. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day and owe a lot of that too the BCC and their staff. From the booking to the food tasting, to planning the layout and all the details to the actual day of, the Julie and the staff were so supportive and accommodating to what we wanted out of our day. They made the planning stress-free and easy. The staff setting up the venue did a beautiful job! We heard nothing but great things from our guests on the bar and wait staff during our wedding, they were friendly, attentive and always had what we needed! The food is also amazing - especially the antipasto, veal and deserts! Would highly recommend this venue for a beautiful, hassle-free wedding!

The hall is great and looked amazing when decorated. Sonia, the manager was also very helpful in terms of planning. The only negative I would say was the service on the day of the reception. The staff were not very helpful. There was no knife beside our wedding cake, we had to use a butter knife. Even after that, no one cut the cake and our food caterer had to cut it. Staff were not really helping and just stood there. Also, they don't provide speakers and even the projector is serviced by a third party which charges an exorbitant amount to use the projector. Would definitely reconsider recommending anyone to BCC based on the service they provide on day of event.

This should read 4.5 stars out of 5. My wife and I were married on October 27, 2018 in the Rosewood Room, which comfortably held 130 guests as well as a band. Overall, we were very happy with the experience. Particularly, we had a wonderful coordinator (Sonia) who was very proactive in making the event a wonderful memory. Sonia was very happy to answer any questions or concerns that we had throughout the planning phase and her experience was evident with some of her wonderful suggestions re: choosing an upgraded meal package/food choices as well as room set-up. To maximize the experience, my wife and I would suggest bringing in a decorator particularly for the head table backdrop (Sonia provided the referral) as well as bringing in your own items (table numbers/receiving line table items) for personal touches. Booking early allowed us to secure our bridal suite/private washroom, which helped a lot. It is worth noting that the food was delicious particularly the anti-pasto buffet and the dessert (creme brulee). We deducted a half star due to the fact that some of our guests weren't given the right meal (we asked for our guests to choose their meal prior to the wedding). GIven our numbers, this might not be the venue's fault necessarily as some of our guests may have claimed the wrong meal to be their own. With 130 guests, there is bound to be error. Honourable mention needs to be given to one of the front line staff (Astor) who went above and beyond with her hardwork to make our experience truly special. Overall, I highly recommend the Burlington Convention Centre as a venue for your wedding. In terms, of 'bang for your buck", it is definitely worth it. Thank-you for making our special day an experience that we will never forget.

I had my wedding reception at the Burlington Convention Centre in June 2019 and couldn’t be happier that we made that decision. Sonia, our contact, was wonderful to work with. She was always prompt in answering my emails, phone calls and being available to meet in person. She had an answer to any question that we had and eased the stress and worries we had as the date got closer. The hall itself is a nice size and looks clean and modern. We were in the Emerald Hall, which sat our 200 guests comfortably. Most importantly, the food was delicious. Many of the guests commented on the delicious food and the antipasto bar. The convention centre is conveniently located beside a hotel so our guests just had to walk next door when the night was over. A big plus in my books. The reception ran smoothly, the hall looked beautiful and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend the Burlington Convention Centre.

There are not enough words to begin to describe how incredible our experience was at the Burlington Convention Centre. Our coordinator Sonia truly is the best at her job. Sonia looked after every possible detail for both the bridal shower and the wedding always answering our many questions promptly. Both events were very large in size and would be a big task for anyone but not one item was overlooked. She took the time to get to know you and understand your vision. She ensured all aspects the day of the event was completed exactly as desired and she kept everything on schedule! The execution of the events was flawless. Her team was spectacular and provided great service to the guests and always with a smile. The food was delicious, very flavourful and cooked exactly as requested. The antipasto and seafood midnight buffet at our wedding is still being talked about weeks later. The only complaint was that there were too much food and not enough room to eat it! The venue is beautiful and well kept. Having the hotel next door was convenient for our out of town guests at the wedding too! Our events would not have turned out as perfect as they did without Sonia and her team. Thank you Burlington Convention Centre for making the bridal shower and wedding everything we had dreamed of. We would highly recommend the Burlington Convention Centre for your future event/function!

I had the opportunity to visit the Burlington Convention Center last month. I had a great time. Food was great, the bartender and our server were amazing. I forgot their names, but they were colombian, great guys, very polite and attentive. This is my first time doing one of these reviews. I hope it is useful for people thinking about doing their events at this location. The only reason, I do not give this place 5 stars is because there was a pungent smell coming out of the female bathroom. I am sure that problem is fixed by now.

On Saturday November 10, 2018 IBEW Local 105 held our Appreciation Night at the Burlington Convention Centre with approximately 600 guests in attendance. We are still receiving many compliments about our fantastic evening and how impressed everyone was with the venue, the atmosphere, the wonderful food and the fantastic staff who worked diligently to ensure we had a successful night. The evening turned out exactly as we envisioned and the Burlington Convention Centre added the sophistication and elegance we were hoping to achieve. The IBEW Local 105 Appreciation Committee extends their gratitude to the staff at the Burlington Convention Centre for all their efforts on our behalf. Their professionalism, expertise and dedication to their profession was exceptional.

New Year's Eve 2017 - it started so well, and finished so poorly. Our group of four was well received, directed to where we needed to go, and the assigned seating in the ballroom was clearly identified. There is no complaint about the food, it was plentiful, fresh, and flavourful, full marks to the chef and his team. So far our first-time experience was fabulous. Then the music started! We can understand that the DJ wanted to generate energy in the room, it was a party after all. Unfortunately he chose to cater the music to the younger audience at one end of the room - the 20's and early 30 year olds - bless you guys, I hope that you at least had a fine evening, but we all paid the same for our tickets. However so many of us at the other end of the room - albeit a little older - wanted to dance with our partners and not just jump up and down - and other than three slower dances - we were not given that opportunity. Compounding this, was that the volume of the music was so loud that we could not even talk with one another at our tables. We approached the DJ with a request to mix the sets to accommodate all age groups - it didn't happen. Later in the evening, we approached the event host manager with the same request - nothing happened. So, a wonderful evening for us and for many others ended early at 12:30 am... and we will not return, and that is such a pity because this is an excellent venue for these major parties.

We always do our yearly corporate conference at this hall, and they seem to get better and better every year. New renovations they did looks great, not that the old one was bad, but they seem to be on top of trends. And the food and service is never a disappointment, you can't go wrong hosting an event there.

I have had the pleasure of attending a few functions at the Burlington Convention Centre over the last few years, last one being the Mother's Day Brunch which blew me away. My experience each time far outweighs the last one. One thing I always look to see at different venues is how many familiar faces there are, and I have come to know a lot of the staff at BCC very well. In an industry that tends to have a high employee turnover, that to me is a great sign. The way I look at it - happy staff, great service. I am yet to have a "decent" meal at Burlington Convention. The food is absolutely amazing whether you are having a meeting at breakfast time, a buffet at a Christmas party or a sit down meal. The attention to detail in the décor of the hall, the presentation of food, the taste of food, and the banquet service is absolutely amazing. I am looking forward to returning to this venue again especially for the Mothers Day brunch next year. I have never seen that many choices and selections for a brunch. I enjoy my food and I didn't know where to start! Great job Burlington Convention Centre management and staff! Always a pleasure to see you all.

We had our wedding reception here, and were really excited but our experience was so horrible. We don't recommend this place to anyone for many reasons. 1) We paid a lot for our sit down steak & chicken dinner, and even paid for 20 extra people as well, just in case extra people show up. Our guests told us that the waiters refused to give people steak or chicken, saying to some people "we already served you!" Can you believe that? Some of our guests went home hungry even though fewer guests showed up than we paid for! We were so embarrassed to hear that after. It was just unbelievable that they would refuse guests a main course and claim that they had already given it to them! 2) The lady who booked us was racist. She told us to our face "your people are always late." So rude! We are paying you for a service, and choosing you as a venue. Treat us with respect. 3) We booked the hall itself because we liked the glass windows and "outdoor" feel of it, while being indoor. However, the ceilings were very low and in the end, the decor didn't work out well at all with the way the hall is designed. I would choose a hall with a higher ceiling in the future. Overall, horrible, horrible experience. I am so sad to have wasted thousands of dollars on this venue, and I hope no one has this experience!! Please be very careful and specific if you do make the mistake of choosing this venue. I recommend Mississauga Convention Centre to people now, because my brother had his wedding there, also with a sit-down steak dinner, and the service was just exceptional!

We recently had our wedding reception at BCC and it was everything we could’ve dreamed of. Sonia is the best of the best and was amazing to work with. She walked us through every step of our planning process and was always available to answer questions and give advice. She always answered any requests promptly and with confidence, both in person and online. She is very professional, kind and personable. She made sure that my husband and I had everything taken care of for our special day and her team was great. The BCC staff were all welcome and accommodating to all of our guests. The BCC also offers a complimentary tasting for your event – which is very hard to come by. The food delicious and we had many compliments on our choices but also the allergy/dietary restriction friendly choices as well. The location of the venue is very easy to find and there is ample complimentary parking. From the ballrooms, to the bathrooms to the landscaping – BCC is well taken care of and they take pride in their venue. I will definitely keep recommending Sonia and the BCC to everyone I know. Thanks so much for making our day so special!

Most racist owner I have ever witnessed. Going on a power trip on a gentlemen that was just trying to do his job. The owner kept going on about how he owns this place, and he will call the police to remove any patron that objects to his viewings. I have never seen a host speak to anyone in that tone. I would highly recommend anyone doing an event to think twice before hosting it at this venue. You wouldn't want your guest or your self to become a victim to this man's racial abuse and power trip.

Impressive... very nice banquet hall, food was amazing and friendly staff. Great location, easy to find, right off the highway... and plenty of parking (didn't have to drive around to find parking like other banquet halls we've been to), there's also a connecting hotel (which worked out perfectly cause we were tired and didn't feel like driving). Definitely deserving of 5 stars.

Sonia and her team at BCC made everything easy and we can't them enough for such a wonderful day. If I were to plan my wedding over again I would STILL choose Burlington Convention Centre.

My wife and I had an amazing experience planning and holding our wedding here. Julie, Astor, and Goran were all awesome! They all truly cared about making our big day perfect, and they all went the extra mile in one way or another. The food was great, and the packages customizable. An absolutely stunning venue and impeccable service! The staff are professional and have great attention to detail when it comes to planning and executing their events. I highly recommend this venue. Sonia Radunovic, the Director of Operations goes above and beyond to ensure everyone is happy. She knows what she's doing and eased all my worries.My daughter has also had her prom here and will never forget her experience with her friends at this magnificent location. Their food was incredible, all was organized and I trusted that everyone was well taken care of. I feel as though this venue is versatile for any type of event as its space options and location are adaptable, especially during our government restrictions- each room has enough space to safely social distance and have a wonderful time! Thank you Burlington Convention Centre for making everyone's dreams come true. The venue and staff are the best in the area; We would highly recommend this place for any type of event!

Special thanks to Sonia, Julie and all the staff at Burlington Convention Centre that went above and beyond to make our wedding day a huge success. Our guests were so impressed with everything, we got so many compliments about the hall, the service, the decor, the food, and so on. They even had connecting hotel accommodations, which was super convenient. Our maid of honour, who helped plan our wedding, is an event planner and she even commented that of all the event planning she's done over the years, no other venue compared to Burlington Convention Centre, especially when it came down to price, quality of service and style. They fully delivered on every request meticulously, with things like the hall and table set-up (as you can see in the photo), right down every little detail. Outstanding, better than we could've imagined. Thank you again for all your amazing efforts and professionalism, sincerely, Ravi and Anji Shah.

We had our wedding at the BCC working with Sonia in August and have no complaints. Sonia was so dedicated and hands on throughout the entire day and made us feel at such ease never having to ask or wonder about anything. Everything was on time, the staff were so friendly and we received many compliments on the food, and none of our external vendors had any issues. Sonia also accommodated our cultural fusion allowing and accommodating an external caterer to bring in an ethnic course after the BCC main. Sonia also made the process stress free and helped make our dream a reality.

Attended a wedding at this venue. I have to say that servers were very friendly, food was very tasty and venue is beautiful. Hotel is being build next door and construction was in progress, but speaking with the venue management I found out that Courtyard by Marriott is schedule to open in November 2018. What a great idea. I will definitely recommend this venue to everyone I know and I will definitely be booking this venue for my wedding reception! Amazing job

The Burlington Convention Centre was absolutely the most perfect Venue for our Wedding. Everything we ever needed or asked for was right there. The Hall is spacious and modern, the connecting hotel was very convenient for our bridal party and out of town guests and there's plenty of parking. Me and my spouse are both super busy with the family business with very little time for wedding planning. The staff at Burlington Convention Centre were extremely professional and accommodating, they provided assistance and vendor referrals for pretty much everything we needed for the wedding (food, seating, decor, lighting, audio, floral, hotel accommodations, and so on). The Wedding turned out perfect, the food was amazing, the service was fantastic, we received a lot of compliments from our guests. Special thanks to Sonia, Julie and the waiting staff at Burlington Convention Centre for making our Wedding a huge success.

My wife and I just had our wedding at BCC on September 15, 2018 (#Erak2018). The banquet hall and the staff made our dream wedding come to life. From the food to the decorative details we were blown away with the level of professionalism and charm that went into making our day special. The manager Sonia as well as Astor went above and beyond to help plan, set up and seamlessly run the wedding event. We had over 400 guests but the wedding felt intimate and warm thanks to BCC. Our guests tell us they enjoyed the food in terms of quality and variety. They also told us the service was exquisite. We even got the ice sculpture I was anticipating all year!!!

Absolutely amazing!!! I had my wedding here a couple of weeks ago in the Emerald Hall and I still can't believe how perfect everything was. Our guests are still calling us to tell us how beautiful everything was and how incredible the food was (but seriously, SO MUCH FOOD!). Sonia and her team are wonderful to work with. The Burlington Convention Centre went over and above! The food was great, everyone of my guest had great things to say about the food, it was hot, tasty and there was LOTS of it. We dealt a lot with Julie and was she outstanding always prompt to answer emails and suggest ideas. The decor they provided was beautiful, they have nice overlays for the head table and their in house backdrop is very professional looking. The service of the staff was over the top, they went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had everything we needed, and that I never had to wait to get a drink, they already knew I needed one. If you are thinking of having a wedding in Burlington, have it at the convention centre! They truly made my wedding into the grand event I was seeking.
