As a fellow wedding vendor, I appreciate that these extraordinary ladies are always impeccably organized and professional; no detail escapes their eye, and they are a joy to work with as a vendor. Rana and Theresa skyrocketed past our expectations as wedding planners!! First of all, they are so so cool, open, and incredibly lovely to work with. They provided us with an excellent list of vendors and took all the stress away from our big day. So many friends mentioned to me how stressful their big day was, but we didn't feel one bit of anxiety which helped make it the best day of our lives!! Seriously, this was the best money I spent on the wedding. Also, their design game is ON POINT. I left all of the design options up to them (because we are not fans of doing this stuff, and I was super busy with school), and they absolutely killed it!! We hired Rana to be our day of planner. This made our day so much easier, especially since the venue was super busy because of summer Covid weddings and was leaving key details to the last minute. Rana made sure everything was in order for us. We cannot express how much we valued Attia Events presence on the day of our wedding. Rana really saved my wedding. I was an over ambitious bride who naively thought it would be okay to leave all the day-of coordination to a few key family members. But as I put pen to paper, I quickly realized how busy my family was going to be coordinating everything that they wouldn’t get to enjoy the day. So, three weeks before my wedding, a colleague recommended Rana and her team. They were quick to act and very flexible and bullish to get things in motion (exactly what I needed!). Despite all the planning that had already gone on, Rana and her team were lightning quick to pick everything up. They asked all the right questions and so many more that I hadn’t already thought of that’s I felt really secure and confident going into our wedding. Rana really is an expert. On the day of, everything went off without a hitch. Her team helped set up all of the decor for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception beautifully and flawlessly. They took care of tear down and made sure things were flowing effortlessly. It felt like the perfect day orchestrated by logistic and organization ninjas! It was only until after the wedding that I found out about all the things that didn’t go exactly as hoped (including someone having an accident during dinner!), which means Rana and her team did above and beyond what I hoped. They didn’t only lend a helping hand, they kept me and my family sane, worry-free, and smiling the entire day because they were there to deal with all of the craziness that was inevitable to ensue. Looking back in my wedding expenditures, Rana and her team were truly the best return on investment. 20/10 would recommend

My husband and I had the honour of working with Rana and her team to plan our wedding. We had just started our planning when we met Rana. We felt immediately supported while we navigated through the 100s of venues available. Throughout the process, Rana and her team made every effort to understand us as a couple and see our vision through. We were interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and countless other obstacles, but somehow Rana always kept us on track while keeping our spirits high. Rana made sure we were considering all the details necessary to make sure our special day perfect. She communicated professional with our vendors and relayed information back to us as soon as possible. Her and her team are extremely kind and considerate. Working with Rana and Theresa was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Early on she took the time to get to know us and our story. She figured out what we wanted for our wedding (as well as what we didn't want) and provided advice all through our planning process. Her advice kept our plans focussed, and our requests were incorporated into the day's events with creativity and enthusiasm. Throughout the process this always made working with her feel like we were collaborating together to make our day as incredible as it turned out to be. We hired Rana for our original wedding date in June 2020 which was postponed due to COVID-19. When we selected a new date she had no trouble adapting to our plans. She let us know she was there if we wanted to rant about the pandemic or any of the issues we were having revising our plans. When we decided 3 weeks before our backup date to go ahead with our scaled-down wedding, Rana was on the ball immediately helping us with our schedule, venue plans, and organizing our other vendors. She also identified several things we had initially missed through phone calls, run-throughs and a venue visit. She and Theresa transformed our venue with the decor we had purchased without too much of a plan, but the results were stunning. That level of trust came easily and on the day of the wedding, we didn't have to worry about a thing, leaving us to focus on having fun and enjoying the company of family & friends. This was the magic of including Rana in our day, especially with so much uncertainty, to know she had everything running smoothly and on time, which gave us an incredible sense of ease about the day itself.

Rana and Theresa were absolutely fantastic to work with and could not be happier that we decided to book them and their services! I would highly recommend that you book Attia Events, not only for their skill/talent, but so that you can truly enjoy your big day! The wedding venue we were working with provided a day-of-coordinator but through our correspondence leading up to the wedding day itself we didn’t feel confident that the provided coordinator would give our wedding and our plans the attention it deserved. Rana was our main point of contact and always promptly replied to any questions we had or was able to provide recommendations which were very helpful. Having her present at our venue walk through and Theresa at our rehearsal was fantastic, because they also were able to ask questions and address things we hadn’t even thought of. Additionally, they ensured the day went off without a hitch and that was what was most important to us. As a person who has a fairly “A type” personality it can be hard of me to let go of control because I want to do things in a particular way, but everything was even better than I imagined it would be. Everything turned out beautifully and more perfect than we ever could have imagined and the fact that we didn’t worry about anything at all on the day of and were able to enjoy the day and take in every moment was worth every penny. John used to have this saying: #commonlawcouplesdoitbetter. That was his/our mantra – neither of us cared about getting married. Fast forward 8 years, something changed for John, and he definitely had marriage on the brain. So when you never thought marriage would be a chapter in your life, you definitely haven't thought about planning a wedding. However, we've planned many house and dinner parties, attended galas, and obviously other friends/family weddings; so when it came down to it, we had a vision – an elaborate vision. We held our wedding at the Great Hall in Queen West and early on in the planning process, we met Rana. She was super approachable, organized, easy to work with and fun. But more importantly she came with a POV and a credible network. For our Big Day we wanted it to feel like a House Party. We had: giant harvest tables, a quartet, my band (as well as John and I) performed mini-concerts, we had gala-style bar and lounge seating in the balcony area for cocktail hour and the performances. As well as an coordinated and delicious dinner and food/drink stations set up throughout the night. Needless to say, there were a lot of check-points for Rana to make this engine run. Down to the details, Rana was incredible. She always presented ideas for what could help elevate the dining experience and timeline, but didn't push anything on us (note: we took all her ideas! LOL) She was great with the wedding party and family, ensuring she made authentic connections with everyone, so the day felt even more inclusive and warm. We highly recommend Attia Events, to help plan and bring to life the wedding you never knew you'd plan! She brings a breadth of experience and is able to seamlessly execute your vision. Rana was one of my favourite vendors on the wedding day, she took care of everything with the day of coordination package and was in touch months before the wedding. She was very reassuring and adaptable to the ever changing wedding restrictions due to the pandemic. She got to the venue early and stayed until everyone left, that's a lot of hours. She did extra things like bringing me a shot when I desperately needed one, helping me change my heels into sneakers and holding my dress train, fixing it when needed for photos, the list is endless... and the best part is she held my phone the whole ceremony for my dad to be present by a video call since he couldn't travel here. I'm so thankful that she was so dedicated and such a nice person to be around. If you're thinking about hiring a wedding planner, please hire her. You won't regret it.
