When we decided that we wanted to hire a wedding planner, we had no idea how lucky we would get. We hired Dianna for the full planning service including day of coordination and it was the best decision we could have made!! She was so dedicated, professional and hard working. She absolutely loves what she does and it shows. She really cared about us and went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we hoped for - and wow was it EVER! As the bride I had a vision, and Dianna made it come to life. Based on what you are looking for and your budget she brings you the options, you make a decision, and then she'll do ALL of the leg work: A-Z. Communication with vendors, setting up meetings, arranging visits, ordering items - EVERYTHING!! She really is FULL service, and it was fabulous. Using her network of vendors and other planners she also was able to get us great deals and contracts that we otherwise would never have been able to negotiate. She must've saved us thousands. She's also great on her toes and resolves issues without panic - she ALWAYS made me feel like there was a way that would work. We navigated the ever-changing covid rules in Ontario which was not an easy feat. The day of I didn't worry about a single thing - she took care of it all, made sure we were comfortable and happy, and kept the day on track. I was able to totally enjoy our wedding day without a hiccup or a worry of any kind. She's also so great with the families to make sure they are excited and worry-free. Honestly, I can't say enough great things about Dianna - hire her. If you're looking for a planner, don't hesitate. I don't leave reviews like this often - she's got to be one of the best!!!

Our experience with Amavi Event Planning + Design was incredible. Dianna took the time to explain and walk us through all the best options that suited our budget and wishes for our wedding. Planning a wedding seemed stressful at first, but with careful planning and open communication we found that it was not what most people made it out to be. She kept telling us that it was our special day and leave the worries and stresses to her, she took care of everything the whole way through. There is so much to be said about the vision of your wedding day. The joining of two families in one special place to celebrate and share the love to two special people coming together as a married couple, the immense anticipation of all the memories that bring laughs and happy tears down your cheek. The dancing, the food, the cake, the pictures, flowers, seating charts, I could go on... It's no easy task to plan a wedding. Now let's throw in half a wedding party that resides in another country. Game? GAME! Dianna and her team made the ideas of our wedding come to life. We could not have asked for a better person to plan our special day. She was there every step of the way ensuring we had no worries and making sure we were happy with the final result. Her methodical approach to planning is so organized and done with so much care and grace. Our wedding truly became a day beyond our dreams of what it would become. I'm remembering a specific moment of our wedding day, we had arrived early prior to Dianna's arrival, but when she did, I caught a moment of her walking the stairs and halls leading up to the wedding quarters at The Scottish Rite Club of Hamilton. She was admiring all the little details of the stained glass and woodwork, it truly showed a glimpse of much passion she had and has for event planning. I would highly recommend AMAVI Event Planning + Design. I wish I could give them all the stars in the universe, but 5 will do. Thank you again for all you have done for our special day!

My husband and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary on September 15th, 2020. We escaped to Muskoka for a few days to relax and reminisce about our wedding day. If I could give AMAVI a 6-star rating I would! Dianna is nothing short of amazing. From the moment she stepped in to help us plan our DIY wedding her wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm, and bubbly personality immediately put me at ease. To say that the day wouldn't have been the same without her would have been an understatement. She offered to help with any/every piece of planning, was key in contacting vendors, coordinated the set-up/take down like a pro, and was always one step ahead of everything the day of ensure it ran smoothly. She even fixed my make-up in the limo before the ceremony because she had the tools (thanks to her Mary Poppins bag) and the know-how. At every step she went above and beyond and I couldn't be more grateful for all her help and expertise :)
