We had an absolutely amazing experience with Elise and her team at Toast for our wedding in May. Before going into all the details, I just want to say Elise, Madison, and Allie really allowed us to have that perfect wedding that we all dream of. They really exceeded our expectation! From our initial meeting, we felt that Elise was organized, open & flexible to ideas. We chose to the Month-before option, where Toast helped us plan the details of the itinerary and the final timeline with our vendors. Though they were not involved in the initial planning process, Elise was always prompt with answering questions, given us a lot of good tips, and recommended great vendors throughout the year. During the final month, we met with Elise several times and with each meeting I felt very confident in entrusting her and her team with leading the wedding on the day of. The itinerary was detailed down to the minute and she took into consideration all possible scenarios to make sure everything runs smoothly. On the day of the wedding, they took lead of decorating and managing all the vendors. I did not feel an ounce of stress from that aspect and had full confidence of the team. There were definitely hiccups as all wedding have (we had a vase broken due to strong winds right before the ceremony), but Elise and her team managed them seamlessly without putting stress on my part. I think we all really truly appreciated that. The wedding turned out even better than what we have envisioned and the work that Elise and her team did was monumental to the success. Even after 4 months, our guests are still raving about our wedding and we definitely have to thank Toast for that! We will definitely recommend Toast to all our friends who will be getting married in Ottawa! If you choose Toast, you will not be disappointed!

Elise and Madison made my dreams come true. Working alongside these two powerhouse women helped elevate our weddings to a level I could not have even imagined. Over the course of ten days, we hosted 10 events with over a thousand people in attendance. Toast Events planned and executed the most important of days, our big fat Punjabi wedding ceremony and reception (a 15 hour day total), our rehearsal dinner in Ottawa, and our Canadian wedding at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier. For each of the events that Elise and Madison coordinated, I walked into the rooms and what I saw took my breath away. The florals & decor (thank you Wedecor and Flowers by Charene), the grandeur and beauty, the flow and seamlessness of every event — it was truly a super human feat of excellence. Where to start? For a year before my wedding, Elise and I exchanged emails back and forth...that is to say I bombarded her with messages and questions and she answered every single one very promptly. Fast forward to one month prior to the wedding, when she completely took over. Now, I like things done a certain way so it is hard for me to surrender complete control over to someone and relax. However, I knew I could with her and trust that our wedding day would be perfect. It was even better than I imagined and the best part? I didn’t have to stress or worry one bit. I was amazed that I was sleeping all night, every night the month leading up to the wedding. On the actual day, I felt like a guest to my own wedding. Working with Toast was the best decision, and by far the best money we spent on our Wedding! Elise has excellent taste (my bridesmaids were off the hook for styling opinions!) and a solution to every logistical road block. We were so relaxed on our wedding day without a thing to worry about!
