Sophie and her team are a dream to work with!!! They have everything you can imagine to bring your vision to life. They are extremely professional and quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had throughout the whole planning process - a quality that not all wedding vendors have!!!! On the day of our wedding, everything was executed exactly the way we envisioned it....even with a tight set up scheduled due to an unaccommodating wedding venue. AMAZING!! The team at Sage did an incredible job on the decor for my backyard wedding! Due to Covid, we had to change our wedding date several times and the team was very accommodating. We worked with Ashley and she was absolutely wonderful! I was blown away by how beautiful everything looked on our wedding day - they really made our vision come to life. Unfortunate to say that I am also disappointed in the services offered by Sage or the level of respect and attention. I can't speak to the quality of their work because Sophie decided to share with me that they went with another client even after I invested all my very limited time and energy as a bride (without a planner) and a professional giving her my business. After initially emailing Sage Designs, Sophie arranged a call with me and I used my lunch break to speak with her and she ended up calling half an hour later than agreed upon without so much as an apology or acknowledgement and that should have been my first red flag. I excused myself because I had another telephone commitment and we re-scheduled the call. After speaking, I felt a more comfortable, Sophie seemed nice and I am a people-person. She got to creating a proposal, we agreed to follow up in the next week. We followed-up when she advised me that they also got a request from another couple who was also interested, I assured her that we were going forward with Sage, we just needed to make sure the proposal was what we envisioned. Her contract states all items and services quoted are secured for 20 days, we were within that timeframe and I had every intention to finalize things within that timeframe. After discussing the proposal with my fiance after several failed attempts to connect with Sophie during that time period, they were moving warehouses and I was beyond understanding and gracious, putting my full trust in her, again. I told her everything could be done via email to suit her schedule since they are moving (we were too) and I spent hours creating a clearly outlined sheet with pictures, highlighted and all about what we wanted to eliminate and add to the proposal. After a week, Sophie emails me saying they went with the other couple. She didn't even do us the kindness or courtesy or just plain ol respect as a client who had committed to the proposal and worked around her schedule and given her our trust and was first in line, to say "hey, other couple wants to sign! You guys on board or not?". Needless to say the concerns other people have expressed here ring loud and clear now. Update and response: Sophie never said she would the 20 day time period is not applicable. When I read through the T&C's with her on the phone, I asked if we were still within the 20 day time-frame to which she confirmed we were. While she DID indeed tell me that they worked on another proposal AFTER mine, all I ask is for the respect (because of my frequent follow ups, the time and energy I have invested) that she just honored that we had approached her and given her our word first. All I ask for is transparency, "hey, the other couple is moving forward, we respect you came to us first, if you are not confirming by X date, we need to respect other clients because we are a business and cannot lose clients". Sophie did not give us this BASIC respect (imho) and it's not like we went MIA or weren't responding. Clearly all Sage cares about is money and that's fine, they're a business but brides-to-be be warned that if you're looking for honest, authentic and trustworthy service, this isn't it. And I have worked with plenty of other vendors for my wedding who have done us this basic respect and to which we have confirmed and are honored to be working with them!! I have vendors that I haven't paid yet and have respected that I approached them first, INCLUDING MY AMAZING CATERERS and VENUE and I will be honored to promote them to every single person I know. PS: Sophie, our call was at 12:30 pm EST and you called at 12:40. :) As a person who is trying to plan a wedding and has a 1 hour lunch break, I allocated 30 minutes to speak with you and had another call scheduled at 1 pm which means your tardiness would leave us with 20 minutes (also why we had to reschedule for 1:30). As a vendor who is trying to win someone's business and build TRUST, if you are going to be so much as even 2 minutes late, the least you can do is acknowledge and respect people's time.

Not very detail-oriented. We had requested marble coasters as placement cards and were given pieces too small to hold a glass (despite providing instructions and pictures). I was told by my wedding planner that Sophie was also a bit rude to her during the setup. They charged us 300$ worth of flowers for my geometric arch, which had less flowers than my 100$ bouquet. Overall, the service provided was not what was promised in the contract.

I absolutely loved working with Sophie. Decorations for my wedding were minimal, but Sophie was more than willing to work with me and bring the beautiful finishing touches to my venue. She also provided all the bouquets and boutonnieres for my wedding party and they were lovely! Exactly in line with my colours and what I had in mind. Also, her team makes everything so easy - they did ALL the setup and take-down of all the decorations we rented meaning no driving back and forth for myself or my husband the day-of or after! The convenience was worth the price alone. We even had a mix-up with the hotel (some of the decorations we rented were brought back into our suite the night of the wedding, meaning they weren't there the next morning for Sophie's team to pick up). Resolving the issue was so easy and stress-free - a quick email, and the hotel and Sophie took care of everything else. I will 100% be recommending Sophie to friends and family looking for decorations for events (weddings or otherwise). She's on The Westin's (my venue) vendor recommended list and I can see why.

We definitely recommend Sage Designs to anyone looking for a CUSTOMIZED experience! It was SUCH a pleasure working with Sophie leading up to our wedding day in June 2019, from beginning to end. Sophie was diligent at responding to emails promptly (which in our experience was not always the case with other vendors we considered) and providing all the necessary information+options up front in order for us to make informed decisions about wedding decor. The team at Sage did a fantastic job of making our minimalist vision come to life!

Words can not describe how wonderful of an experience I had working with Sophie from Sage Designs. Their flexibility, attentiveness, and creativeness made our wedding exactly what I had envisioned. From the floral centerpieces, glasses, cake stand, seating chart, etc. everything came together perfectly and really tied the space together. Working was Sophie was fantastic. She is super personable, detailed, and warm which are all things you look for in a wedding planner. In addition, I was planning a wedding from abroad and Sophie and her team were so flexible when it came to scheduling meetings and finalizing things on a tight schedule. We can't thank Sophie and Sage Designs enough for everything they did. It was truly a pleasure working with Sage Designs and I highly recommended them. AMAZING!

I am very disappointed in my experience with Sage designs when ordering flowers vases and other decor. I went in to the showroom and pointed out the exact vases that wanted had very thorough descriptions (with photos and inspiration board) on flower arrangements (down to the type of the plants I wanted). On my wedding day the products arrived and it was so wildly different to what I ordered, I actually thought it was the wrong order. The vases were not the ones I ordered and the flowers were not even close to the style I asked for. As soon as the items were delivered, my planner called right away and Sage said there was no mistake. Because I was ready to walk down the aisle in 40 minutes I didn't have time to argue, so I left it for the day. When I raised this after the wedding, I was basically told, "too bad so sad, you should have told us on the day" (which we did). The owner took no responsibility, blamed everything on me and used excuse after excuse, which were irrelevant and unrelated to the valid points and arguments I made. It was a very frustrating experience. I would have been totally fine if she just owned up to the mistake (I get it, it happens!), but the complete disregard and indifference is not how you treat a customer who just spent a lot of money for your services. "I'm sorry you feel that way" does not constitute an apology. Very unprofessional.

Sage designs provided the decor and florals for our PEC wedding. They were flexible, professional and made our wedding vision a reality. They came with a huge team and many large trucks; it was very impressive watching their team quickly and efficiently put up and take down decorations. Hiring this fantastic team meant that myself and my family got to focus on creating lasting memories and not spending all our time on setting up and tearing down decor.

We worked with Sage on a full design and rental package for a park/backyard wedding and we were amazed at how beautiful every last detail was. Our wedding was July 20, 2019. Sophie and the Sage team were absolutely amazing to work with. Our floral arrangements were absolutely perfect and the decor set up was exactly as I imagined. There were no disappointments. As far as vendors go, they were one of the most responsive teams we worked with and dealing with Sophie felt like dealing with a friend. They also worked really hard to work within our budget to provide us with what we wanted. The night before the wedding, our venue had a bit of a mix-up when it came to timing for the set up, which was a bit stressful, but Sage promised to come in the next day to come and assist to ensure that things were done on time. We were really thankful for their dedication and friendly service throughout!

Had the MOST pleasant experience with Sage designs, from beginning to end. My husband and I first met up with Ashley, from Sage, in November 2020. Ashley was always so organized for our meetings and full of brilliant ideas! In fact, all of the design credits go to her! Upon every single one of our meetings, Ashley was so enthusiastic and open to showing us all of her design options! She really took the time to cater to our needs and vision! We put our trust in Ashley and her team, and were we ever right to do so! From the start they were very easy to communicate with, and worked closely with us and our wedding planner to bring our vision to life, helping us work through options that fit our budget. Sage Designs has a BEAUTIFUL aisle and backdrop set-up for Mill St. Brew Pub. We used it for our May 2019 wedding and I was blown away when I saw it for the first time walking down the aisle. In addition, we also had them design an alter area for the ceremony with barrels, lanterns, and candles that looked gorgeous and really tied the space together. In fact, we left all decor in place and incorporated it near the head table during dinner and speeches. We are still getting compliments on how beautiful the space was! Sophie was amazing to work with and there were no hiccups throughout the entire process. Thank you Sage Designs!!

Absolutely amazing work! Sage designs provided the decorations for our wedding. They decorated our barn and turned it to an adorable, rustic, romantic atmosphere that all the guests raved about! Sophie helped us from the beginning narrow down what would look great, working with our budget but still holding our image. They were able to set up days before the wedding, allowing up plenty of time to bring in the tables and finish setting up. And to top it off, as the barn has open doors, they offered, should we need, to come again the night before to fix anything the wind might have moved. The effort and passion that they have for their work is seen in the incredible results. When we get the pictures back from the photographer, we will absolutely love to show their amazing work.

My husband and I worked with Sage Designs to complete our Le Belvedere wedding last September. They did an outstanding job working with us over the course of the year to completely design our wedding (from florals to decor). Sophie was so sweet and even worked with me to design two completely different looks for the wedding since I couldn't make up my mind. In the end, the wedding day was an absolute BREEZE and we didn't have to lift a finger. Sophie and her team arrived at the venue, set up the ceremony space, the reception space and the cocktail space, prepared all our florals and ensured that we got them and worked with Le Belv to accomplish the whole wedding day setup. They were in and out before I arrived at the venue for my first look and then they showed up the next morning to tear everything down and clean up so me and my wedding crew didn't have to. I would 1000% recommend Sage Designs to anyone who wants to be completely taken care of on their big day. In fact, many of the floral designs Sage put together are featured around my house now (they were dried bouquets) and I am reminded on a daily basis of how gorgeous our big day was.
