My wife is a Michael's fanatic. We don't have much choice here for arts and crafts supplies. They are fairly pricey but the store is great. It is always clean, the staff are helpful and fun to talk to. They have a large variety to help meet your goals and get you started on your personal projects.

Horrible experience. I find the store chaotic, there was little to no staff and when you did find some one "working" there....they were not helpful at all! The first one tried to direct me to yarn section with poor directions in her store, once in the yarn section another staff member pointed to 2 aisles over. Ultimately had to find it myself. Omgoodness I'm finally going to checkout im super happy to finally get out of the store with over $200 purchase and the line up was 7 people deep, when I asked to open another checkout the girl was nasty, but finally call for some help. I was exhausted and believe me over heated by the time I was rescued by the great outdoors.

The staff are friendly and helpful (& masked) and the store always has a wide selection of seasonal and year round products. Even their sale racks have an abundance of choices! I love Michaels. Some of the products are a bit pricy, but they are very good quality. There is always a coupon you can use on one of the items that you're making a purchase on unless that item is on sale, and I really do appreciate the coupon. Michaels has lots of art supplies, but has recently added a bit more to the mix. For me, this makes the store even better. Michaels not only has amazing art supplies, but also has custom framing, decor for holidays, baking supplies, and much more. I really enjoy this store.

Disappointed in not finding the childrens books of stickers for Halloween or anything at at that were just a couple bucks. Store looked hal empty. Did find a few new stickers back in adult section but seemed more expensive than before.

In comparison to other Michaels stores, this particular one is pretty awful. They have poor selection, it's very hard to find staff to help, it's not very often that a staff member is knowledgeable enough about the products to help, prices are high. I only go to this store if no other store in North Bay has what I'm looking for. Oh, and they cannot special order items from their website (what's the point of showing products if you can't get them?), or get items from other stores. If they're out of something that they've definitely carried before, staff won't be able to tell you if it will be shipped to their store again, because ordering is apparently handled at the corporate level. Now for the positives: It's a very clean store... You'll never find their products dusty or find garbage/damaged products anywhere. If I'm looking for something specific and they don't have it, they'll often have something similar that will do until I can order something online, and considering that they are pretty much the only craft store in North Bay, they do have a lot of departments within the store (just not a lot of selection in these departments).

Very friendly location. There is so much to choose from. Some excellent deals to be found. However, like all Michael's locations, sometimes their pricing is just too high. Having said that from slime to beads to paint to fondant, its anyone stop shop for creativity. Awesome for "do it yourself" proms, weddings, festivals, seasonal celebrations. Michaels has a lot of different things. If you can't find what you are looking for, ASK! I was looking for a flat 4x6 cleat platic box for pictures. It was not where I thougjt it would be so I should have asked. My wife found it in the back corner. I did ask about glue sticks for the glue gun they had on sale at the front of store. If anything they might have added some glue sticks to the display! Staff was very friendly!

I bought all the packages of the product that I need for my wedding...Unfortunately it wasn't enough. I asked the cashier when they would be ordering in more and she told me to come back on Wednesday to see if they were in. So I called Wednesday evening and spoke with someone and they told me yes they were in Stock. So I jumped in my car and drove over there and to my suprise they were not there.I went to the cashier (same lady I spoke with over the phone) and she basically called me a liar saying that she did not speak with me. In this, the manager was there also and she took my number and told me that the truck was still unloading and she would give me a call the next day and let me know. Well shockingly (not really after the previous day experience) I received no phone call. So I called the store back in the evening and spoke with someone else who said they would go check. Had me on hold for maybe 10 seconds and came back saying they don't carry them... now I have to scramble to find the same product else where as I do not have enough. Terrible experience and worst customer service I have had in a long long time.

Wanted to get a frame made. It was a little off-standard, but I've had similar ones made up at a different store. The person struggled with the software so much that after half an hour I left, with the promise that once he'd figured out how to do it, I'd get a call. Never got a call. Probably just as well because they wanted almost $300 to frame a Christmas card.

Their curbside pick up is amazing! I compared prices to Walmart and got a bigger pack of cardstock, better colour selection and it was CHEAPER! And I was able to get it within an hour for pick up. Just drove up, called the number, and they ran out the order. Was so impressed and was embarrassed that I even tried with Walmart for craft supplies.

Usually has what you need, when it comes to art supplies, but the selection can be limited in some areas. Their prices seem to be a bit on the high side, but that's usually the case when it's the only store of of its kind in the city. I will continue to shop here, because it is the only store of its kind in the area.

I was looking for a fountain pen converter, but their selection for calligraphy seems to be rather lacking. It seems like a waste of store space to have things that nobody's bought or touched since the last time I checked- ink bottles do suffer from sitting on the shelf.

The perfect place to go for all your craft and coloring needs! I go here at least four times a month to mainly look at the Art supplies and Adult Coloring books, I love to buy/look at the Gelly Roll Gel Pens and the new marker/Art sets plus coloring books. You can get a coupon on there website or app for at least 40% off your purchase, just cant be an everyday value item. I use a coupon almost every time I go. The staff are always friendly and ready to help you with any question, they are always making sure to come over and ask me if I need any help or have any questions. Highly recommend the Brockville store.
