Spending an evening cruising the Vancouver harbour whilst enjoying delicious food is always a hit and a great start to the event. David and his team are professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. The upgrade last year made a world of difference, the catering is always delicious and the views can't be beat.

My son’s school had a graduation party on the yacht and the staff did a fantastic job. Due to COVID restrictions and limitations, the parents of the class were not able to prep and serve food/drink, so we had to think outside of the box. We are so thrilled we did! Pacific Yacht Charters is taking all COVID guidelines seriously and families were comfortable knowing they cleaned/sanitized the yacht meticulously. Food was served in compostable boxes to each individual, and we divided the group into two parties (under 50 each), so they could sanitize and clean in between. Thank you to David and his team for making the night special!

Had attended a yacht party the past week and was quite disappointed with the person who was in charge of hosting everything. Right as my party arrived onto the boat, we were not properly greeted nor did anyone introduce who they were. After 15 minutes of us setting up, that's when the person in charge decided to introduce herself to us. Besides the unfriendly service, I thought that the decorations that they had set up was nice and the food was pretty decent considering it was food that had to be prep in advance.

I was recently looking for a great way to show my appreciation for my team members’ hard work. Not wanting to be gimmicky with chocolates or lotto cards, I decided to provide a nice luncheon. In reviewing upscale catering companies (tough these days to find quality in COVID times) I came across PYC. My contact when calling in was their events director “Molly” who was a perfect fit for us. She had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. She recognized that I needed efficiency but also wanted time to review menu items etc. She reviewed it all with me and made valuable selection ideas to ensure selections were appropriate for my team members and also made certain that we had everything we needed. Upon delivery day, we were all happily surprised by the quality of the lunches. Most our selections were from the Poke Bowl and Buddha Bowl menu offerings and everyone was pleased by the quality and freshness of the individual ingredients that accompanied each bowl. The top level presentation of each bowl was just as if we were sitting right in a restaurant. Hats off to the chef and staff for this level of quality food and presentation. Molly ensured that a very good experience was had by all of us! When done again, for catering a lunch for my team or just for me and friends, PYC is now top of my list.

I've been aboard Pacific Yacht Charters a few times and was super impressed with the professionalism of the crew, the food and of course the atmosphere. I've attended a private dinner, a party hosted by the Yacht, Summerdine (an event that is a fundraiser for Les Dames d'Escoffier to be held again this year on August 16 and I've already bought tickets) and we choose the yacht for a Les Dames induction dinner and it was a huge success. Their bartender comes up with innovative cocktails and the chef is equally talented with menu creation and execution. I can't wait for August 16 to dine aboard again. Far exceeds the expectations whenever I board!

Several families in our neighbourhood did a group order of Poke and Buddha bowls on Friday. It was a refreshing delicious change from cooking or getting the same old take-out! We all really enjoyed the food and since it was so easy, we will definitely organize another order with a bigger group of friends in the near future. We found it to be a fun way to connect with friends but still stay apart during Covid. Thank you so much!

Fairweather Cruises has worked with Pacific Yacht Charters, under its previous namesake, for many years, In the past 20 months, however, we have seen a complete transformation of this business; not only in name change, but a completely updated interior, chairs, linens, china and glassware. We were fortunate enough to have discovered Pacific Yacht Charters prepared foods cache. We had their Christmas Dinner. The food was delicious. Beginning with cooked to perfection moist and tasty turkey the mashed potatoes were full of flavour and could be enjoyed on their own but the gravy was the best I’ve had. The vegetables and salad were the perfect accompaniment and the dessert was to die for. In summary everything was PERFECT! I also really appreciate the nut free and gluten free options. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable Christmas Dinner such a treat.

I had the pleasure of bringing a corporate group for a private dinner on the yacht. During the planning stage, Pacific Yacht Charter's David was very accommodating, professional and patient with my questions and last minute requests. It was extremely easy to work with David. On the day of the event, the entire service team was excellent! Service was prompt and professional and everyone’s wine glasses were constantly refilled (very important for this group!) Marty and his team of kitchen staff completely blew everyone’s socks off! Guests were impressed with how the food looked and tasted and the caliber of what was available on the yacht (one of the VIP had a peek into the kitchen and was absolutely amazed). Pacific Yacht Charters in Vancouver was simply an amazing experience! Our wedding was held on the yacht August 25, 2016! I was looking for something different for our wedding, as we were coming from Northern BC. I loved how everything could be done on the yacht! We had our ceremony on board then set sail for a beautiful 4 hour cruise, mingled then had a very delicious buffet style dinner! You can opt for plated dinners as well but we did buffet and everyone was raving on the freshness and quality of the food, the flavours were so well done! We had cake on board as well as dancing and drinks! It was the smoothest ride I was worried about getting sea sick but it was a wonderful sunny day! I started planning my wedding a little over 1 year before the date via email as I lived far away. They were so accommodating for us and when I did make it down to Vancouver I would meet them at the yacht to have a look and discuss questions. There was never any confusion with pricing or anything they were very upfront about it all. It was a night to remember for sure, all of my guests couldn't believe how elegant it was on board. Wish I could do it all over again!

I found Pacific Yacht Catering online and worked with Molly, I received excellent service from Molly. She listened to what I wanted even though at the time I did not have all the details worked out yet and set me up with an appropriate menu. She accommodated the added guest a few times for my mom's memorial service. The food was excellent, and received great reviews from a number of our guest. I choose PYC over a number of other caterers as she did not bombard with me a number of questions I was not able to answer at the time because we did not have the details worked out yet. I would highly recommend PYC and would happily use them again.

Pacific Yacht Charters is much more than a 'boat ride', they do great catering! We enjoyed delicious Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for two this year. Besides these holiday menus, their frozen soups, appies and dinners are great to have on hand for last minute meals. Thanks PYCs for doing the cooking for me when I need a break. ????

Had an amazing experience on the yacht. It was a work party, and aside of the business owner having a glitch with the PA system for his speech, it was memorable. And in a great way. I can't comment on the PA system on the boat, because there may have been user error as an excuse. We were a party of about half the actual capacity of the yacht, and we didn't seem to be stepping on personal space of others. I can imagine that at capacity, larger parties may experience a different result. My impression is that the staff on board would be prepared for larger gatherings than what we had. I commend all the staff that were there. They should be commended for how smoothly our expectations were met.. Starting from the Weston Bayshore, it was an easy boarding to the yacht, and greeting the Captain and the Crew was enjoyable. We were destined for the Indian Arm off Burrard Inlet. We got to see Deep Cove, and dream of buying the houses facing the water. It may have been the package we purchased, but the guest on our table had Celiac Disease, and her dietary concerns were met. My wife has a nut allergy (life threatening), and the serving staff was able to identify the risks. Wow.... My only concern may have been our diverse clientele, customers and suppliers, plus their spouses... They could be vegetarian, and that need could be met, but the main dish of filet mignon would be substituted with all vegetables - I didn't have that dietary concern within my scope of my view.... Having some shade from the slopes of Indian Arm, the second half, and our return to downtown Vancouver was nice to feel the breeze from the Prow. I was there for the view and cool breeze of a summer night. ...Awesome...
