I recently had to cancel my destination wedding for the 2nd time. I called Above and Beyond Event Planning to get some ideas and suggestions for a local wedding. I wish I could give these ladies a ten star review because they were so kind and helpful. Thank you very much for your time and advice!

Above and Beyond!! Nicole and the team at Above and Beyond are amazing! Words really cannot describe how above and beyond they went to make sure our wedding day went as planned. Nicole is professional, prompt, thorough, and is truly invested and passionate about what she does. We were initially hesitant about using a wedding planner but eventually decided to hire Nicole for the two-month takeover contract. But even before we had fully made a decision, Nicole was more than willing to answer questions, ease some of the wedding planning stresses & anxieties with care and ease. Chatting with her for the first time was like talking to someone we already knew and unlike other wedding planners we spoke with she seemed truly interested and invested with us and the wedding; not with getting a contract signed and money in her pocket. Nicole is great at communicating. She is quick to answer questions, provide feedback, and offer suggestions whenever asked. She collaborated, problem-solved, and is exceptionally thorough with coordinating and communicating with all vendors and people involved. Leading up to the event, she ensured we had covered everything we needed, and helped us source out the vendors and things we were still looking for with care and kept our vision and budget in mind. During the day she ran everything so smoothly, we didn't need to spend any of our time thinking about what needed to be done, what was coming up or how things were going. This was amazing because it enabled us to focus on enjoying the moment and celebrating with our friends and family. She was even prepared to help out with minor dress malfunctions, keeping us fed, navigating the seamless arrival of some latecomers, and making sure everything was running the way we had envisioned. After the event, she checked in and followed up to see how we were doing and how we felt the day went. Nicole and her team did everything they said they would and more! A number of friends have used her or are using her and I have heard nothing but fantastic things. Her skill, professionalism, quality of service, communication, and overall awesomeness has become even more apparent through the stories of how supportive and graceful she has been navigating and supporting her couples that are planning weddings amid the uncertainty brought with COVID-19. I can say with confidence that the wedding would not have been the huge success it was, without her. I recommend her, her team, and any of the vendors she uses without hesitation and with full confidence that she will go above and beyond to meet all your needs.

This company is super responsive, professional, transparent, kind, and pay attention to details of what you're saying rather than trying to push certain ideas or services on you. They appreciate client's individuality and their own goals for their event. Although we weren't able book them as our planners for our event due to our ongoing changes in plans, I'd still recommend them. They followed through on following up the questions they said they'd take back, and are flexible when trying to arrange a time to communicate.

The team at Above and Beyond Event Planning did just that! I contacted them about 4 months before my wedding and while I had a lot of the major stuff planned, I still needed help to bring it all together. I originally was just looking for a day-of coordinator but ended getting so much more! Nicole and Shannon were absolute gems. They made themselves available to answer my questions, work through my ultimate vision, attend walk-throughs and communicate with vendors, and prompt and push me when need be to help keep things on track. Nicole really came through helping me find a hair and make up team I was absolutely thrilled with. And when the big day came, I knew I was in good hands. I didn't stress for a minute about how things were going or who was taking care if what. I was just able to relax and enjoy the day with my family and friends. First, there aren't enough stars to give Nicole at Above and Beyond events. I first started working with her in May 2020, about a year before our date, and hired her as a "partial" planner. After we chatted (which I think every planner should do to make sure you vibe with each other), she met me where I was at in terms of wedding planning and tailored my contract to what my needs were. We were hoping that we weren't going to have to deal with Covid restrictions, but unfortunately, this wasn't the case. The saving grace was Nicole, who helped me navigate planning a covid wedding over 15 months. She is absolutely amazing, and we would not have been able to have the wedding of our dreams without her. She is beyond helpful, her knowledge base is vast, she's down to earth and will work with you to create your vision (including being honest about what can fit your budget, and if something will just look ridiculous/not fit with your wedding "theme"). She helped me navigate vendors, keep organized, and stay settled through the stress of planning and constantly replanning. The day of our wedding, I had everyone commenting on how organized and professional Nicole and Celine were, and what a stunning job they did setting up our venue. They kept us to our timeline, organized and directed all our vendors, and navigated bumps along the road without me ever getting wind of it, such as our venue messing up our seating arrangement and tables (Nicole and Celine ended up putting our entire room together, which I doubt other planners would have done). Nicole is not just a wedding planner anymore, she feels like a lifelong friend, and anytime someone asks for suggestions or how my experience with a wedding planner was, I immediately encourage them to contact Above and Beyond events. Their company name says it all, and Nicole 1000% goes above and beyond to make your wedding exactly what you want it to be, and more.
