At first I wasn’t sure we needed Tess’ services - I felt organized and our venue had a coordinator! Turns out deciding to work with Tess was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. Tess is on the ball, reliable, and just the most delightful and kind human. She thinks of everything and kept us meticulously organized, which made me feel calm and prepared leading up to the wedding. On the day of, it was Tess to the rescue multiple times and she always had a smile on her face. She kept everything on time, she led our massive decor take down, and she made sure we weren’t working in any way so we could just enjoy our wedding as if we were guests. The morning after our wedding I reflected on our day and all I kept saying was, “thank goodness for Tess”. One hundred stars out of one hundred. Tess is a gem.

Hiring Tess of INLY Events was by far the best decision we made when planning our wedding. My now husband and I weren't sure if a wedding coordinator was something we needed but now we are so thankful we made the investment. Not only is Tess a wonderful and caring person but her organization, planning and attention to detail helped put my anxieties at ease during the planning process. We had to change our wedding date 3 times due to COVID, and Tess was in constant communication with us every step of the way, always making sure we were making the best decision for us with the ever changing government guidelines. She helped pull together a gorgeous reception dinner in a matter of weeks. We could actually enjoy our wedding day and take in the small moments because we knew Tess was hustling to make sure everything was going smoothly behind the scenes. We worked with Tess in the month leading up to our wedding. Being a bit of a control freak, I was really put at ease knowing that Tess was taking care of coordinating all the vendors, musicians, the groomsmen, etc, especially in the week leading up to the wedding and on the day of. Hiring Tess was by far the best wedding investment we made for our big day. From start to finish she was able to see my quirky visions come to life and added an element of sophistication and style I couldn’t have envisioned myself. The entire day, as well as the days following, were so smooth. I was able to completely let go and focus on having the best day of my life. Tess was on top of every detail, and she never missed a beat. For example, when my bridesmaid didn’t have matching champagne flutes, Tess was out the door and returned with the perfect flutes for our photos before we had even noticed she had left! She was always accessible for questions and last minute changes and even provided each family member with minute by minute schedules and confirmed with all the vendors leading up to the wedding. She went way above and beyond, even creating a unique Polaroid guest book, and temporary tattoo stand for kids (my husband is a Tattooer). I can’t thank Tess enough for her time, expertise, and heart she put into making our wedding day the most incredible day of our lives. Thank you Tess!

I had the pleasure of working with Tess at a recent wedding and was blown away by her professionalism, her eye for style and her easy going, fun-loving personality. Tess did such an amazing job at dressing up the wedding venue in a subtle yet elegant way that was not only trendy but comforting. She also had the coolest guest book I've ever seen, an old guitar! Since the groom was a musician it was the perfect touch to an already perfect day. Tess of INLY Events is amazing! Working in the wedding industry myself for almost 5 years, it’s always so nice to come across like minded, hard working and talented fellow entrepreneurs in the industry. I had only met Tess at the start of the wedding season this year, back in May, but I liked her so much right off the bat, I felt like I had known her much longer. When I was in a pinch and needed a last minute assistant to help with setting up a really important wedding in the spring, she came to my aid and worked wonders. Her attention to detail, thoughtfulness, honesty and humour made it so easy and fun to work with her, I wanted to work with her more! We hired Tess from INLY events for our two part wedding and it was the best decision we ever made. Tess is the full package; professional, organized, detail oriented, easy to communicate with and extremely knowledgeable. Thanks to Tess, my wife and I were able to enjoy our friends and family on on big day(s) without stressing about any of the little details. We had an outdoor reception and it rained for the first couple of hours. Our dance floor was a slippery mess. Without asking, Tess was out there in her dress mopping and clearing off all the water so it was ready for our dance party (seriously, Tess is our hero). After being extremely skeptical about hiring a planner, we bit the bullet and decided to go for it. Now, I don't know how anyone survives a wedding without one! Tess took care of everything that was stressing me out and even things I hadn't thought of yet. My day would've been a mess without her and Nicole! We heard about Tess and INLY Events through a friend and could not be happier with our choice in working with her. We actually met with several other wedding planners prior to meeting Tess - but once we met her we knew that her enthusiasm for weddings and obvious organizational skills were exactly what we needed. I will start with this – there is a lot that goes into throwing a wedding. It is a very overwhelming experience and thanks to Tess my wife and I were a NO point overwhelmed the day of our wedding. The entire event went off perfectly; better than my wife and I could have even hoped - and we recognize Tess for this. As a stereotypical disconnected husband I did not know what to expect from a wedding planner. However, it became clear fast that Tess was incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and naturally gifted in her craft. She immediately instilled a sense of calmness and excitement when it had previously been anxiety and nerves! As we progressed through, Tess was there at every stage to answer questions and provide her expertise. She absolutely coordinated, facilitated, organized, but the one thing that stands above everything for me was her empathy and passion. I have a lot of food restrictions and health concerns and without any guidance or direction Tess took it upon herself to make sure I had everything I needed. It is tough to put this into context in a review, but this is something that I will not forget as only someone who truly cared would have done this. As previously stated, before all this I wouldn’t have been able to tell you what to expect from a wedding planner. And to be honest I still can’t tell you – because Tess contribution to our wedding was more than can be outlined on paper. I would absolutely encourage anyone planning a wedding to speak to Tess. Your wedding is such a surreal day and you want to enjoy it! Tess’ personality, skills and passion will help you do that.

Where to begin...there are so many amazing things to say about Tess! Tess is really amazing to work with - she is super upbeat, organized, and creative. We had multiple meetings leading up to the wedding, some on site and others over Zoom. Eric and I had a lot going on at the time and Tess helped us stay focused and keep the planning in motion. The wedding literally would not have come together the way that it did without Tess. My husband and I had to make multiple location, date, and guest count changes to our wedding and by the end of all these changes we had an offsite wedding at his parents place. There are so many details that need to be considered, and without Tess I'm pretty positive that I would not have been able to think of half of them. Having Tess there on the day was lovely; we had some bad weather and a couple other timeline delays, and Tess helped us navigate all of them - when I mentioned some of these delays to guests after the wedding they hadn't even noticed them thanks to Tess! We are recommending Tess to everyone we know who is planning a wedding or any other major event - we have so much confidence in her!

You and your team did an amazing job from the day of our first consultation right up until the last dance at our ceremony. Leading up to the big day, you made sure that everything was in order, ensuring that vendors and special requests were in place. On our wedding day you and your team took care of everything we asked for and then some. This was done without question no matter how trivial it may have seemed. The job you guys did was priceless in our view. Most people describe their wedding day as being a stressful one, I'm sure it's because they didn't have the INLY team at their side. Your duct tape saved the day! Had it not been for your emergency kit, we would have had some major wardrobe malfunctions to put a damper on our day. When the soles of my tuxedo shoes decided to separate I thought my night would be ruined. your duct tape held them together without anyone noticing and allowed me to party till the end of the night without any worries. Also, your box of safety pins came in handy when my bride's dress needed some minor repairs. Having an elaborate emergency kit shows how experienced you and your team are at being prepared for weddings and ensuring everything, no matter how big or small, runs without a hitch.
