Shana is amazing. We met her via Zoom during the lockdown in February. We had interviewed a few planners and felt that Shana not only was highly skilled and honest, but also has a great personality - I mention this because you are about to spend months to possibly years with your planner, not only are they in charge of your big event or wedding, but you will be spending a lot of time with them planning, touring venues, review budgets, etc. So choose your planner wisely! My partner is on the quiet side, and me... well let's just say I'm wedding and style illiterate. We met her in February and our wedding was in October. Planning a wedding in 8 months is difficult. Add-in a lockdown during a pandemic, with changing restrictions and so much uncertainty, well... it's a recipe for a lot of stress. Shana held our hands throughout the entire process; she is patient, understanding, kind, diligent, and has an eye for style. I am so grateful to have hired her for our big day. The wedding day itself will always be busy and filled with memories, and it's so great having someone you can trust to orchestrate the wedding so you can truly enjoy yourself. The Dream Weaver Events team is one you'd like to have by your side on your wedding day and as you plan your wedding. We had originally booked her team for their month-of coordination services to help us execute everything we had planned. All that changed, of course, with the ever-changing restrictions and lockdowns. We had to reimagine our wedding endlessly until a week before the big day. Like many couples who got married and planned their wedding day during the pandemic, we had so many ups and downs. Thankfully, Shana was there to guide us through it all. She pivoted her services, helped us find an awesome venue and florist, and guided us as we downsized our wedding without sacrificing the vision: surrounded by loved ones and filled with good food and drinks. Having professionals, like Shana, Sydney, and Kim, on the day of our wedding accomplished what needed to be done: hiccups were solved without concerning us, schedules were adjusted to accommodate Toronto traffic, and joy and love overflowed. I got burned and started to not trust day of coordinators after firing two planners. I posted on a Wedding Facebook Group about my situation, looking for a day of coordinator who is detailed oriented, responsive and hard working! And Shana found me! Shana and her team far exceeded my expectations! You need to hire Shana NOW before she gets booked for your wedding day! Hiring Dream Weaver Events will be one of the BEST decisions you make for your wedding day, for you and your fiance, your wedding party and both families. TRUST ME!! I call Shana my ultimate “DREAM PLANNER” (and funny that the company is called Dream Weaver…hahaha!). She will ensure that your wedding is perfect. My husband and I are so happy and blessed to have met Shana and have her be there for us on one of our biggest days of our lives. Shana didn’t treat us only as her clients, but as friends. She really cared about us and it was genuine. My sister said that it was obvious that Shana was emotionally invested in us, as she cried at our ceremony and first dance =) Pre wedding planning: Shana took the day of itinerary that our previous wedding planner had drafted, and made it a thousand times better. Everyone complimented me saying that it was the most perfectly timed and executed wedding they have been to in their lives. That’s a HUGE compliment!! Guests were never waiting too long. They felt that the events throughout the day were organically timed without any rushing or delays. Makeup and hair touch-ups were scheduled, there was a tea ceremony, and I even had time to wander the cocktail, and having time to visit the guests at their tables at least twice. Thankfully Shana ripped apart the day of itinerary previously written by Rainbow Chan Wedding & Events (whom we fired) to customize the schedule to what best suited us. Month of Wedding: Shana was ON POINT with following up on the vendors. She followed up with all of the vendors and honestly, just that alone is worth hiring her to relieve the stress before the wedding. Everyone kept on asking me during the month of if I was stressed, and I said no! Everyone was surprised (since I’m a BIG stress and worry wort), but Shana made me feel that she had everything under control and that I didn’t need to stress. DIY Wedding: I had a DIY wedding which required a lot of attention to detail, setting up and taking down décor, on top of ensuring that the day went smoothly. Shana and her team handled everything perfectly. She took my detailed setup instructions and unloaded the décor from a truck, and set them up as per the diagrams and instructions. Her team even moved décor from the ceremony to the reception. Even giant trees, tall centerpieces, turning on every LED candle, fluffy up the floral arrangements, every detail was accounted for perfectly. At the end of the night they took everything down and back into the truck for a stress free night. Many coordinators do not include FULL décor setup or take down, when shopping ensure to ask if they will do this for you. LISTENS: The two previous coordinators we fired didn’t listen (could be an ego thing). Shana listens to everything that you have to say. Instead of telling you no, she would try to understand why you wanted something a certain way that she might not initially agree to, and if she realized it’s what you really wanted, she’ll listen to you. But she would tell you what she thought and gave you different angles. This really is a skill that your day of coordinator needs to have. Not just take orders, and not ignore what you have to say, but have an excellent balance. More than a Coordinator and Planner: Her team picked up food orders for us for lunch, picked up Tim Hortons, delivered family luggage to hotels, returned the truck of DIY items back to a home…the list goes on. Whatever makes the day run more smoothly, Shana and her team are ready to take on the challenge.

Shana and Dreamweaver events really can make dreams come true. Shana was an invaluable part of our day and planning process. We had originally started wedding planning in 2018 for a spring 2020 wedding. Shana was a big part of our final planning, and then the pandemic hit. Our wedding was cancelled just a few weeks before our big day. She helped us navigate cancellations, new contracts and helped us research and keep up to date with the latest COVID safety protocols. Fast forward to 2021, with the pandemic and local restrictions still in place, our postponed date would no longer work. Shana and her team didn’t skip a beat and helped us plan a beautiful elopement on a tight timeline. Shana was there to help the schedule of the day run smoothly, and surprise my now husband with a fun first look. She was extremely respectful, professional, has a great sense of humour and everyone that was part of my day loved her. She made sure everyone felt comfortable with COVID protocols, and wedding day jitters. Shana flawlessly executed our elopement, helped setup our ceremony site, was our DJ, wedding planner, scouted photo locations and played a hundred different roles all in one day. I cannot recommend her enough. Her team was an amazing and crucial part of our wedding. I honestly never thought I needed a wedding planner and day of coordinator, but I am so thankful for Shana and her team. They lifted a big stress off of my shoulders and it let me and my husband enjoy our day together. I cannot wait to see her future success. My husband Tapan and I could probably go on and on about how remarkable our experience with Shana and Dream Weaver Events was! Her, along with her intern, Sydney, are the reason our entire wedding vision came true and we couldn’t be any more appreciative of their dedication to the job. Our journey with Shana began about two years ago, pre pandemic, when a family friend who had also worked with Shana for their own wedding, recommended her to us. Little did we know that we were about to have a long, turbulent wedding planning ride from there! Planning a wedding can be stressful as is, but then you throw in COVID-19 and a huge four event Indian ceremony- and things can get very interesting. Dream Weaver Events committed to making our special day everything we dreamed of and more. For all the times we felt uneasy or found ourselves second guessing our decision to move forward with a destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico during peak pandemic chaos, Shana and her team reassured us and stuck with our vision. Not only did she remain super organized through out and readily available to answer any questions, but even upon getting to our location- her and Sydney constantly made it a point to fulfill our needs and our guests needs first. They even went shopping in Mexico at a local Walmart to get us snacks and drinks just for after hour partying! How many people can say that about their wedding planner?!! Another example that comes to mind is when we just couldn’t agree with the decorating company on the drapery colors for our wedding reception. Shana literally went fabric shopping, one week prior to our wedding, and video called me having found the perfect color I wanted! I was blown away at her willingness to want to deliver! Over all, we actually ended up having to postpone our wedding for an entire year due to the pandemic and although it was a very difficult decision, Shana’s work ethic never strayed from the task at hand. She was prepared for every meeting or zoom call, and her uplifting and positive attitude is probably what kept us afloat during some very trying times. She is extremely professional, great at budget management, honest, and she will absolutely go to bat for her couples when necessary!! All in all, we owe everything that made our wedding week magical to Dream Weaver Events! Thank you, Shana…and Sydney!! You both, and Dream Weaver Events now hold a very special place in our hearts!

Dreamweaver Events helped us to plan our 200-guest wedding and the best day of our lives! We initially intended to hire a day-of wedding coordinator but opted for the Partial Planning Package instead and are SO glad we did! Shana and her team are extremely knowledgeable in what they do and will prepare you for everything up to the day of the wedding (including the many things you forgot or didn't even consider at all). There is no doubt in our minds that without their help, our wedding planning journey would have been way more stressful than it needed to be. Shana was always responsive and available whenever we had any questions and always had the best advice to give. There is not a single thing we would have changed about our wedding, despite the fact that we are still in the middle of a pandemic. For one night, everything felt like it was back to normal again. We hired Dreamweaver Events for our day of coordination for our July 2020 wedding. However, when the pandemic hit, we changed and postponed our wedding like many couples did. We ended up having our wedding day split into 2 parts - the ceremony last year and the reception this July. Through it all and with these changes, Shana and her team were amazing! She helped us to execute 2 flawless wedding days and we couldn't be happier with how both our ceremony and reception turned out, even with having to follow COVID protocols and regulations! Shana helped us to navigate wedding planning through this pandemic and we are grateful for her expertise and knowledge. She is extremely professional, organized and has great attention to even the smallest of details - she even made sure that the place cards for all the couples at our reception were across/beside each other! We did not worry too much about anything, as we were in good hands and she was on top of it! Shana made sure that we (meaning more me, not my husband!) stayed on schedule and checked in on us periodically to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything. She also did a great job to help us with decorating both our venue and ceremony space with the lanterns and other decor that we provided on the day of and cleaning it up afterwards.
