Had a lovely visit today! The interpreters did and excellent job telling us about the site and talking about its importance to Newfoundland. We'll be going back for a walk tonight when it's dark to see if there's any truth to the ghost stories!

Awesome experience for all ages! Amazing artifacts from the era and great people. They have tours and even games for kids to play I would suggest setting side and hour or more to see everything this beautiful plantation has to offer!

Get the pass for provincial historic sites if you have time and the inclination to visit a few sites. Mostly on the East Coast.

Period restored historical home. Well worth the visit with tour guide. Very reasonable cost also gets you into the lighthouse (recommended as well).

Visited on a double ticket with the Ryan Premises. Carefully restored to mid 1940s. Very interesting exhibits, well presented. The guide was friendly and well-informed, and took the time to show us around.
