A great cafe in the city. It has yummy food and a cool atmosphere. Their hours seem a little silly. I work from 8 to 4, which I don't think is that rare. That's the reason they aren't my main cafe.

A friend and myself had lunch at the Underground Cafe on a Saturday afternoon and it was simply DIVINE. I am generally not a foodie but this Turkey Club Sandwich was SO good, and she felt the same about her choice. Excellent food, beautiful courtyard and a wonderful atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend.

What a hidden gem! We needed a hot chocolate on a chilly day and found this place on the map. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. There is a stage for live bands to preform (hopefully one day when covid eases that will happen again). We also tried their warm apple pie waffle ???? ???? so yummy!!

Rented the space for 50th/60th Birthday Party. Had a Just under 50 people and the space was the perfect size. The available Bar meant we didnt have to supply liquor, and the option to bring our own food saved a large cost. The Karaoke added a fun aspect. I think the party would have been petering out by 10 if we didnt have it. As it was we ran right into our limit of 1am! Friendly staff and a plethora of song options made this a great experience. Couldnt be happier with the outcome.

I have been meaning to post a review for a while now...as in, over a year. My partner chose this place to host her mother's 60th birthday. I have helped set up many events at different venues and this was by far my favorite. The staff was accommodating and kind. There was nothing to suggest for improvement. I've been a loyal customer since that day

We booked this venue for a going away party and it a great choice. The owner made us feel welcome, the place is intimate, and there are snacks and plenty of drinks. Cost of the venue was good and the drinks were standard for Saskatoon. You also get access to the outside area which is good for people to cool off if the place gets warm. I would recommend you make a sign as people will be unsure if they should go into the Underground Cafe or Village Amp and Guitar.

The staff were kind and respectful, the atmosphere was enjoyable and the food was tasty. However, the time it took for a couple of drinks and a couple of sandwiches, by cafe standards, was entirely unreasonable. It took almost an hour and a half for us to have a hot beverage and a grilled sandwich. I would not go back for this reason.

Underground is great. Jordan is a fantastic cook, everything on the menu is delicious. If you're there early enough, you can get a cinamon bun for $2! Look at this delicious bun! Also, you can have an Olympia, which is the beer my grandpa drank.

I've only been to the underground cafe once, but I'll definitely be back. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and delicious food. The only thing I would change are their hours; I would love it if they were open a bit later into the evening. Overall I loved it, I definitely recommend it, and I'm looking forward to visiting again!

Really neat cafe! Not only is there a wicked stage for concerts and events, their food is super delicious. I had one of their sandwiches with a salad and it tasted homemade with love! Underground cafe has handcrafted sodas with unique flavors. If you're in need of a really nice place to sit down and get some work done, I would definitely recommend this place. They also have free WiFi!

Of all the soy lattes I've had in Saskatoon, I'd say that Underground does them the best. Dairy-drinkers I've gone with also comment on how good their lattes/cappuccinos are. There is a seriously extensive sandwich menu, daily specials and rotating lunch menus. They often have vegan soups or lunch options, and many of the vegetarian sandwiches can be vegan-ized.

Oh yeah, and the coffee is good too ;) They are also one of the few places you can sit inside -- socially distanced -- and work on your laptop right now. Highly recommend!

They make their own pesto sauce, fresh and delightful. The brew coffee was surprisingly good. I had low expectations but I was wrong. Sort of on the high price for a brew but excellent. Love it!
